There is only one taxi in Turlock and Ron drives it.
When you get in Ron’s cab you will at the very least get efficient and friendly service but you are more likely going to get an experience. Ron is extremely personable and is full of great stories, both times I was in his cab I was disappointed when the ride ended.
Being the only Taxi in town you can imagine that Ron is busy on Friday and Saturday nights. One thing that’s true anywhere is that if you wait until the bars close to call for a taxi you’ll be lucky to get home by 3 AM, Call Ron by 1:15 and he’ll call you back when he’s just about where you are.
