Established in 1978.
Dr. Jerry Fikes began his dental practice in Tuscaloosa in 1978. Over the years, Dr. Fikes’ practice grew, and he began to shift toward more cosmetic procedures, while continuing to provide the same restorative and preventive treatments to all patients, both old and new.

Business Owner
Jerry A. Fikes, D.M.D., M.A.G.D., attended the University of Alabama, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in 1971 and his D.M.D. in 1975. After obtaining his D.M.D., he practiced dentistry for two years with his father, Dr. R.E. Fikes, in his hometown of Winfield. Next, in 1977, Dr. Jerry Fikes served a general practice residency at the University Hospital in Birmingham. He established his practice in Tuscaloosa in July 1978.
Dr. Jerry Fikes is affiliated with the following accredited dental associations: the ADA, AACD, AGD, Alabama Dental Association, Sixth District Dental Society, and the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics. (In addition to standard membership in the AGD, Dr. Fikes was designated both a fellow and a Master of the Academy, achievements which require 1,100 hours of continuing education courses.)
