AAA Quality Self Storage

Ive pretty much moved in all my crap to my storage unit. Its been sitting there at least a year or so. I know its safe. The staff is pretty helpful and kind. Happy with my decision. Only thing is I wish they were open longer hours so I could get in it during the week at night, but I guess its safer this way.

We were looking for temporary storage for some items prior to our move. Our first point of contact by phone was Cindy, who was extremely nice and very professional. We came by to check everything out and Cindy showed us all around. We were surprised by how clean and orderly everything was. We had one years ago at another location and were not as lucky. We also really liked the safety aspect as well; security cameras, set hours, etc. We also felt the rates (especially with our Unilocal deal) were extremely fair and competitive. I would definitely recommend giving them a try

We are very happy with the service and facilities here. I compared prices in the area and was given the best deal at AAA Quality Self Storage. Ron, the manager, showed my mom and me some units that were available and was very up front about the pros and cons of each (such as factors like lighting which I would not have really thought of) which we really appreciated.
Ron has been so kind, helpful and professional to work with. My mom who is in her 70s feels very comfortable going to the facility knowing Ron is nearby in the office.
The free use of the moving truck was an extra special bonus that we made sure to take advantage of since it’s a great way to save money.
I definitely recommend this facility and its management. The facility is clean and feels very secure.

I did my homework and found a secure, climate controlled, storage facility where I am sure, as a woman, that I am safe first and foremost, with my stuff being safe as an afterthought. This storage facillity has cameras everywhere and is also equipped with a fun alarm system that notifies management when someone is in a unit. Everybody has their own password to get in and out of the property, so your password would notify management what unit you are entering. They do not have extended hours, which decreases problems that compromise security, and I know for sure that nobody lives in any of the units. When I checked out a couple other places, I was not sure about that. AAA Quality Self Storage runs a tight ship with security, and even has a truck for you to use if you need to move stuff. They are very professional, and I know that I am safe here. The manager Lauren is really great to work with and took very good care of me.

The hours of operation could be better. Coustomer service is good when I go there and never had a bad experience with the pepole. It be nice to have a remote to open the gate to access the building after hours. a program for customers that have been there should be created. If youy have been using the storage for 6 months or more you should get a discount on your monthly rent.

My best storage experience so far. Great people, location and pretty good value.

A+ experience at this place. The other reviews must be outdated. This is the best self-​storage place I’ve seen, and I was very happy with it.
The people who work here are super helpful, friendly, and professional. They were very upfront about how they charge, and they don’t have hidden fees like other places I’ve been to. In every aspect this place had the most reasonable pricing.
1) Rent is at least 20% cheaper than other storage options in Irvine, and they were happy to give me an additional 50% discount for the first 3 months.
2) I had free use of the move-​in truck for 20 miles and didn’t have to replenish the gas before returning it (15 minutes of my time right there).
3) The administration fee of $ 15 was waved with automatic rent payment, and they have an email invoice system.
4) Renter’s insurance is not required.
Also, this place is relatively clean and ventilated inside. It is not climate controlled, but the air isn’t thick, smelly, and humid like some other places I’ve been to.

This is a review for the rv parking I was referred here by the Lake Forest location where I have a storage locker. For the past four years I have stored my boat here from around labor day to memorial day. The staff has been accomodating each time I have rented a space. Last year when I returned from the river they didn’t have a space my size, so they rented me a larger one at the same price I was paying plus still gave me a move in special. Honestly, I saw the previous reviews and can’t believe I’m writing a review about a place that rents me a parking space. They have always been nice to me.

hours are awful, they close really really early and you can’t stay after closing either.
you have to get out of your car to enter you unit number even if the gate is open… it’s such a hassle. I really regret getting a storage unit here.

I don’t know how or why others had any problems, but maybe the ‘manager’ talk did some good. Since 6/​2008, I’ve had nothing but fabulous contact and support with these folks. Every person and everything about their facilities is great for my needs. The climate control is fabulous for protecting things I would never have considered ‘storing’ otherwise. Their spaces are spotless; well secured and lit; even an outlet there; The hours are shorter than I would need but it keeps me more ‘organized’ to do things in reasonable times. They have helped people I have ‘assigned’ to get things there for me; they helped me ‘downsize’ to a smaller unit, no penalties, etc. and overall, I cannot say enough good.
In closing, maybe the other fellow just hit a bad day! I haven’t and am glad to say, at 62 years old and having used storage in 10 different places in the country for various reasons, this one is superb.

The storage units are located INSIDE a building (not drive up). Great for climate control, but not that great if you have a lot of heavy things to move. Its 2 floors with a freight elevator. They provide palate carts as well. Prices are very middle of the road.
The awful bitch behind the counter has a huge bug up her ass. Her communication skills are pretty poor. Expect a lot of loud sighs, grunting and head shaking when you ask her to peel her fat ass out of her chair so that you can take a quick look at the storage units. Is it an unreasonable request? I know it must be a tough gig working as a storage unit customer service rep /​receptionist, but come on now. Monica needs to fix her bad attitude. She makes the storage renting process painful and much longer than it needs to be.
Her manager will be called, but i suspect it won’t do any good.
There are many self storage services. I wouldn’t suggest this one.
