I can’t say enough good things about James and the ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA moving crew! I’ve used professional movers before, including a move from Nova Scotia to California, and I have to say this was the BEST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER! The guys were ON IT, wasting no time, wrapping and packing and just gittin’ er done. They went way above the call of duty making this move come together like they did, solving any problems that came up, and they worked their tails off all day long. They were still good humored by the end of the long day, and we had lots of laughs, so thank you, thank you for such great service. Dr. Tynan couldn’t be more pleased that his prized movie memorabilia and special furniture was treated so well and our realtor was impressed with how thorough the work was. We will all sing «Alexander’s Mobility Services», praises to anyone who will listen, so again, thank you.

Beware if you are in Utah! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The men that were sent into my home to pack and load my belongings STOLE a few credit cards I never use. Luckily I noticed the charges on 1 CC 3 days later, but once I shut that card off they started using another one I unfortunately didn’t notice until today. Total of $ 1600 charges throughout areas in Salt Lake County! Even though I was present while they were there, with 4 of them around, I couldn’t keep an eye on all of them. Oh and to top it off I had to clean up garbage after them. (7-​eleven cups and Gatorade bottles all throughout the inside and outside of my house). They also felt the need to eat some of my snack food and go through my fridge leaving dirty prints on some things. And the smoking that took place continuously with my 3 little kids around! DON’T USE THIS COMPANY! I’m so upset that during this hard transition I’m now having to deal with fraudulent charges! Oh yes and they also left 2 big scratches down the hallway on our hardwood floor.

We’ve had a few corporate moves and Alexander’s has been the best! Jill was amazing, trying to accommodate as much as possible, remembering our schedule and situation and answering questions promptly and in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Plus our driver, Jim, was GREAT! If you have a choice, go with Alexander’s and ask for Jill! We had a lot of other headaches during our move but the actual moving of our stuff was painless thanks to Alexander’s!

Never, ever. ever, ever use this moving company. The most unprofessional people I have ever worked with. Told me that they would be picking up my belongings on the 23^rd and rescheduled numerous times until the 27^th. I was forced to push back my lease ending and push back my start date at my new job. So because of them I couldnt make any money and start in my new position in a new state. Once they picked up my belongings I was never given a window of delivery and thought everything was going to be delivered same day, later to find out they took my stuff over 500 miles in the opposite direction and told me I wont get my things for another 2 weeks. They even told me that I was informed of this window of delivery when I never was. If I was informed I would have planned more accordingly and wouldnt be forced to sleep on an air mattress for a weeks while my things were shipped to the correct address. I finally hear back from the person handling my account to be informed that they need to push back delivery another day. This company is managed poorly. The people are rude. They still have all my belongings and I still have no exact delivery time for my delivery tomorrow. This is terrible

Expect to be informed last minute that your delivery, scheduled for the the day after and already late, won’t happen. This incompetent company will just make you loose time and money… stay away!

I was an employee at Alexander’s years ago and not only do the treat their employees great, their corporate culture is to value their employees and go above and beyond to make them happy. Mostly, at the time anyway, they did corporate relocations, and were not the cheapest game in town, but definitely the best! Alexander’s has been a family owned and run business for decades and even though I haven’t worked there for awhile, I hate to see any negative reviews knowing how much they value their customers and employees. They consistently have ranked among the top Atlas agents in the country. Any move will be stressful, and somewhat unpredictable at times, and sometimes damage will occur, but Alexander’s is the only one I would ever trust to move my belongings. (They did move my belongings when I had to quit in order to move across the country, and they did an amazing job.) They are not some fly-​by-​night scammers and they really care. I wish every company out there was as conscientious as they are.

Pros: The moving team (loading and unloading) was fast, efficient, and super friendly. They showed up on time and they finished on time. They brought my belongings the day they said they would.
Cons: 1.) The labeling of boxes was horrible. I am finding painting tools in boxes marked camping gear. The parts for electronics were stored in various boxes. (We were told they would be in a «parts» box but they were just scattered. It took forever to locate everything.
2.) Damages: My media cabinet was smashed to bits. They paid for it after several email exchanges. There were scuffs on my leather couch and hardwood table, but it just wasn’t worth pursuing after the media cabinet problem.
Realistically, I know things can get damaged during a move. I have had it happen when I moved my own stuff. It would be nice if they made the process for claims less painful. They also really need to work on labeling.

These guys are AWESOME. I used them for my move from NY to Huntington Beach. Joshua Flatts and Ann Bowman. My move was so good, that I am now using them to go back to NY, on my own dime. These guys have gone OUT OF THEIR WAY to accommodate my dates, packing needs, pricing types, etc. Josh has given GREAT communication, via email, phone even TXT. They have reduced the stress in my life a lot. They are by far the best moving company I have used, in multiple moves across the country.

I had a corporate relocation and my company uses Atlas, which Alexander’s is an affiliate. I was a little concerned after reading the reviews, but I can say I had a good experience. I had a 3 day pack, load, and deliver. Jose and his crew were professional and did a good job. They wrapped everything well and unloaded without any issues.

Got stuck with them as the final leg of an international move — eek! They held our stuff ransom — insisted that we pay $ 850 extra before they’ll deliver — no room for dispute. The extra charges were for a shuttle/​no parking postings that we didn’t need or agree to (the house is on a big straight road, easy delivery by SF standards), and a mystery special customs exam for which we still don’t have any evidence. The lady on the phone was awful and threatening. She turned into PRmode when I mentioned that this reminds me of the scam warned of on
, but would not budge. The moving guys were friendlier, but just put the boxes in any room, regardless of how they were marked. Glad to be done with them, will never use them again.

Never again. They scratched up my brand new hardwood floor everywhere. I am so angry I cannot even express. Hardwood is not cheap these days!!!
More over it took me about 2 weeks to unpack given the fact that they only put the name of the room on the boxes not the exact location where things were. I still haven’t found the toilet paper.
After 10 days maybe now I will be able to use my kitchen. I would not recommend their services.
