Established in 1990.

After graduating from CSUF with a BA degree in Finance, specializing in Real Estate, I began my career as a loan officer. I spent much of my early career learning from some of the best mortgage bankers in the industry. During this time, I also witnessed the tumultuous nature of Real Estate and how it can take you from rags to riches, and back down again. While headlines screamed the demise of mortgage companies and unscrupulous loan practices, we managed to thrive. Over the last 24 years, we’ve grown our services from a traditional mortgage brokerage to a full service mortgage banker, or direct lender! We offer purchase and refinance loans for single family up to 4 units, owner occupied, vacation homes and investment properties. LoansByDoug can lend in many states, but we specialize in the Long Beach area of California.

Doug Freeman has been an expert loan professional in Southern California for the past 24 years. With tireless commitment and tenacity, Doug provides his clients with the best products and services to meet and exceed their ever-​changing financial demands. «Your home is potentially the largest financial decision you will ever make.» Doug explains. «I believe it’s vital to trust someone with vast experience and knowledge of the current climate to assist in that decision. I’m that guy, and I’m going to have your back.» While born in New Jersey, Doug spent most of his youth growing up in Placentia, CA where he excelled in Football and graduated from El Dorado High School. He spent two years at USC studying Chemical Engineering but soon realized that wasn’t his passion. Doug graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Real Estate Finance. Doug resides in Long Beach, CA with his spectacular wife, Mary, and two beautiful daughters.
