Facelogic Spa – Tustin

I came here for a Express Facial. Which come to find out was an *Elite Express Facial*. Couldn’t find a single difference except the price. The Chino Hills location offers both those options, while Tustin only has the *Elite* version. Ended up paying $ 89 for a what I thought was only worth $ 49 (like the advertised priced on the website). Horrible.
On top of that, the receptionist tried to guilt trip me into paying gratuity. I simply could not afford it after paying 89 instead of 49. Saying «That’s not good, it’s customary. They feel like they did something wrong if you don’t trip.» Frankly, I did not tip.
I wouldn’t be writing this Unilocal review if it weren’t for that unpleasant experience at the end.

Best spa around! The well educated skin therapists here were able to analyze my skin and recommend what treatment they thought would benefit me. I was very happy with the spa atmosphere as well as the pricing. Great retail selection of organic products. Overall awesome experience

Horrible customer service! I’m so glad groupon was able to refund my money. I should have listened to all the Unilocal reviews that talked about how horrible the front desk was. Even over the phone, rude and unhelpful. I’m just tryna get my Mother’s Day on.

Worst spa facility. Total ripoff. I showed for my appointment and they didn’t take me saying deal for new customer and charging me 25 $ for no show. Are you guys crazy? Waste of my time. U didn’t document information correct while making an appointment and blame it on the customer. Stay away from them and their groupon deal. Don’t sale groupon if u don’t honor it. I’m going to fight for this. Cindy was very hard to deal with.

Received a facial this past week and let me tell you it was amazing! I’m not sure what all these reviews are about. But from the front desk girl to the esthetician. My visit was more than pleasant. It was outstanding and my esthetician paid specific attention to my skin. It’s not like a traditional spa with independent rooms, however it is still private and I felt very comfortable and safe. I was so pleased with my services I signed up for a membership! Can’t wait to go back. Thanks facelogic!

My friend bought me a facial here for Christmas. It was a fun girl’s day out.
The spa is an interesting set up. It’s one big open area with individual little blocked off rooms. You’re in a zero gravity chair but it doesn’t feel any different than a bed — to me anyway.
The groupon was for a classic facial, and Tory went over some of my other upgrade options. It felt a little on the salesy side but once I declined, she was more than happy to get on it with. She didn’t push.
the facial itself was okay. The massage part was AMAZING — she really got into those knots! The extractions I felt were thorough but aside from that everything else was just kinda meh. I left feeling a little underwhelmed.
I would possibly go back at the groupon price but at $ 79 for a facial or $ 59 as a member… I don’t think it’s worth the price.
If you do go, ask for Tory. She’s great. And they use Eminence products which I LOVE.

I would like to start this review with the disclaimer that I take full responsibility that I should have made my appointment in a more timely manner. This review is not about the actual service since unfortunately, I will not be going to face logic spas. This review is in regards to the customer service and policies in place and if anything, more of an FYI to all Groupon voucher holders.
I bought a Groupon voucher in August for One Signature Facial and a sugar Soufflé hand and Elbow treatment for $ 39. Unfortunately, I had some personal things come up and understandably did not have time to think about this voucher. I happened to remember it today (¹²⁄₁₁) since I figured I know can use it. I looked up the voucher in my email and to my surprise it stated that the expiration date was ¹²⁄₁₁. I know. what are the chances.
So I emailed them and asked if it was okay to still use it sometime the following week and to provide their availability. They responded and said «You can use the value of the voucher and pay the difference towards a $ 79 Signature Facial.» They also mentioned they have availability today but it conflicted with my work schedule. I responded and asked if there was anyway I can use it next week without having to pay the extra money. They responded and said no because that is their policy. Although I respect a companies policy, I respect customer service focused policies even more.
There was even a time when I tried to buy a facial on Groupon at a different spa, was to late to the party and they were sold out on Groupon, emailed them to see if they could still offer the deal, and they said of course and welcomed me with open arms. That’s the kind of service your customers remember.
As an MBA student, I just wish more companies would understand that the cost of their policy may negatively impact their future potential gain. They may have gained my $ 39 dollars but they definitely lost the gain of a potential reoccurring client, a positive review, referrals, etc. It is so important to have a business model that looks from the outside in (put your customers first) as opposed to the inside out.
I didn’t read the reviews on here until now, but it looks like their customer service clearly needs to be improved upon if they would like to see a positive, long term impact on their business.

Came here for a facial on a groupon a few days ago. I was not disappointed! It was absolutely amazing. My skin is rejuvenated and the products feel light on your skin. Tori gave the best facial massage! Thanks Tori, you were amazing.

Tory and Christine are amazing people. I had a phenomenal experience here at Facelogic in Tustin. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave they really treat you with exceptional customer service and they are genuinely sweet girls. It was an amazing facial and my skin looks sooo much better! It’s glowing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a facial. Go here! :)

I came her for a facial from a Groupon I previously purchased. I was not at all satisfied with the quality of the facial. First of all, the steamer was not placed to soften my pores, so when the esthetician started the extractions, she wasn’t able to get to most of it. Secondly, the esthetician mentioned I didn’t need to wash my face when I got home — which wasn’t anything out of the ordinary for me since I’ve had past estheticians tell me the same thing; except for the fact that I when I got home, I still had eye shadow on. I filled out the form and I remember it asking me if I wear makeup and how often — I answered «yes» and «daily». I was definitely disappointed when I got home.

I purchased a groupon for $ 40 for a facial and WOW! What a deal. My facial came with a sugar scrub for my hands/​arm, a brief scalp massage and a short neck/​back massage too! The best deal for a facial.
I had Alyssa perform my facial and she was great! My appointment was for 11:15am and appeared to start on time. Wasn’t chatty and got straight to my facial. Communicated that I would get 2 peels, she would do extractions (OUCH! but necessary!) and finish off with sunblock.
The spa itself is different from other salons. You check in and then there’s a changing room, that is not the most private. You change and then walk into the salon room. It’s not individual massage rooms, but actually one big room with 5 – 6 sections, all separated by a curtain. So, there are times you can hear other clients getting their facial but the calming music playing seemed to zone out exterior sounds/​noises.
The massage table or I should say chair was really interested. It’s not a flat table that you lay on, but a chair that they recline all the way back. Different! (Not bad different just Different… if you know what I mean.)
The front desk service was great. Didn’t upsell like most places which can be annoying personally. I saw a sign that a regular facial cost $ 59. Not sure I would pay that price on a regular basis, but overall, the service for my groupon deal was worth every penny.
The location can be confusing to find since the district is huge, but look for the AT&T store past, Costco and Target. It’s in the corner.

I initially came here after buying a groupon and was so satisfied that I signed up for the membership. On my second visit, I had the same esthetician, Tori who is AMAZING! She listened to my needs and concerns and is also very kind and professional. The second visit also happened to be right before my wedding and Tori gave me a killer facial and massage. I can say that I was completely blissed out by the end and my face has never felt or looked better. I look forward to my monthly visits!

When i rated this place 3 Star, Shirley ask me to change my review since she considered PERSONAL, i gave 3 star to a place that most people considered 2 ½−3.
Lets start by saying i was coming to this place for 5 – 6 years, never cancel an apoimment (the only time i called sick same day) Shirley fod really enjoy charging me cancel fee… After 6 years coming and paying 110 $$ plus tip every month (make numbers)
So far i dont have another place to go, but not getting back here
There was a month i was charged 120 $$ 3 times and they did not noticed till i came for my next appt and told them…

My face is rehydrated and glowing ! I normally would not spend 99 $ for a signature facial but lucky for me groupon is giving a 39 $ promo. First off, on a Saturday the Tustin District center is soooo insane. I got stuck in all of the 4-​way stops so I would recommend entering off of Jamboree Rd. They are located next to AT&T.
Their customer service is exceptional from booking the appointment to arrival. Arrive a few minutes early if you’re a new customer as they have some paperwork to fill out. Once my esthetician was ready for me, she took me into a changing room to put on a tube top towel.
From there you are led into a dimly lit room with 4 interconnected rooms. I told my esthetician I felt like I was being put in a spaceship because the seat is really deep and cushiony. My lady did a great job of making sure I felt comfortable and walking me through what she was doing any making sure to focus on my problem areas (blackhead extractions eeek).
Everything they put on felt very refreshing and soothing. They also use clarisonic to thoroughly clean your face. I liked the cucumber eye patches and the steam plus all the hot towels. For the first 30 minutes we talked quite a bit and the latter half was the head and shoulder massage — very therapeutic — I almost fell asleep.
All in all it was great. I’m not sure I can afford 100 $ facials every month (+ 20% tip) so I will savor this trip. I read a lot of negative reviews of up selling — my lady didn’t do that but she made recommendations and did show me to the products at the end. I told her I wouldn’t need anything at this time and that was that. No pressure, just a handshake. :)
I’d recommend if you have 99 $ to splurge or are lucky enough to snag the groupon deal right now.

TORI is the best facialist they have, she’s incredible. I wish I could individually rate her 5 stars.
Their facial services are high quality and they’re really efficient in the care of your skin.
However, in-​store spa products are always more expensive in store than if you were to search on Amazon for them or any online beauty retailer.
My main complaint is the $ 25.00 cancellation fee for changes to appointments within 24 hours. I understand its inconvenient for them, but with the monthly membership they are only charging you $ 59 – 79 which is really just the appointment. Then the actual additions for your treatment run you north of $ 100 when all is said and done not including gratuity. and that’s for membership pricing not if you walk in off the street — then it’s more.
Their membership contract is confusing — you have to do a minimum of 3 months on auto-​pay so you’re still paying for an additional 40 – 60 of services on top of the EFT contract plus gratuity. If you decide to push your monthly facial into the next month you can’t redeem the monies for another spa service to compliment your facial service. It’s strictly a membership for facials, nothing else.
I found their manager/​or owner to be difficult and inflexible. There’s too many providers in this day and age to be burdening clients with high cancellation fees.
As a recent update — I cancelled my membership with 1 banked to use at any given time. Again, there are times in life and things come up. They insist on trying to charge a cancellation fee even though I simply expressed that I would like to forfeit the last facial I had and eat the cost personally. They said it goes against their policy.
Isn’t the customer always right? It’s more frustration than it is worth as far as I’m concerned which is sad because they have fantastic facialists but crappy rules.

I had a facial & dermabrasian done & my skin was so pretty after that. We ladies all need this treatment to lift the dead skin & rejuvenate it.

I don’t get many facials, they are a luxury item for me, but when a good deal comes along I go for it. I never purchase a Groupon without checking in on Unilocal and the reviews convinced me to buy. I wasn’t disappointed. The owner was courteous and friendly, and my esthetician, Miss W was a doll. She performed her magic in a professional way which made me feel comfortable and very relaxed, a great way to end my day.
Of course they try to sell you products and a membership, but when I passed, I wasn’t pressured. If they offer another Groupon, I will return.

I love my facials here! This review is long over due! If you need at place to keep up with the maintenance of your face, this is it. The owner, Shirley, is there most of the time, is friendly and very knowledgeable of the products. The estheticians are wonderful and always know what my skin is in need of. I love that even the basic facial includes with a face cleansing with a clarisonic brush. It leaves your skin feeling very soft.
