Fairfield Inn & Suites Tustin Orange County

A newer hotel so the décor is more modern. Carlos and Miguel were awesome. They were very courteous and accommodating. Carlos, the night manager, went out of his way to get us into a proper room even though we booked a wrong room. Will definitely come back here again.

Here we sit in a room where the TV won’t turn on. Unfortunately, we didn’t discover this until my 12 year old daughter was ready to go to sleep. It appears there is no power to the TV for whatever reason. We stay at least twice a month, usually at the Residence Inn next door or most recently this hotel. We have had numerous issues (including nonworking TVs!) at the Residence Inn and communicated them with the manager of both locations. I have also had multiple issues logging into the internet here, but have figured out a work around. My last correspondence to management was passed off to someone else. It is so frustrating to me because these are the closest hotels to Tustin where we need to be yet there are issues of some sort 3 out of 4 times we are here.

Had to dock 3 starts for: Noisy room, slow internet, forgetful house keeping.
I stayed here for three days at the 4^th floor. I can hear the cars zooming by the freeway all day and night. I’m a heavy sleeper and wasn’t bothered with traffic noise from other hotels. This hotel should had invested on better windows.
Internet was ok on Friday but became slow on Saturday probably due to increased guests. I tried both the regular free internet comnection and the high speed one. No luck on both.
My second night, housekeeping forgot to leave shampoo. I’m rushing in the morning to get done only to find shampoo missing. This is frustrating.
Other than those complaints. The rest of the hotel is good. Front desk gave me my room keys quickly. Parking is plenty. There are plenty of space around the hotel lot. And more behind it. My room is a double queen. It’s larger than other fairfield’s in Orange County. It comes with coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. Bathroom is large. I love it! Water pressure is great too. I’m missing a closeup mirror to do my makeup; but the full length mirror did the job.
Free breakfast in the lobby starting at 6am on weekdays and 7am on weekends. It’s the usual scrambled or hard boiled eggs, pork sausage, bagels, toast, oatmeal, mixed fruit, banana, yogurt. Unfortunately, no waffle maker.

Nice and clean hotel, but I got the noisy side so a quiet room was out of question. It could use a sprucing up, felt like I had to wipe things down before I could use them — remote, sink area, and bath shelves were dusty — don’t know if I would stay again, esp cuz it wasn’t cheap.

My wife and I stayed there this past weekend and, true to form, they once again did not disappoint. We’ve stayed there now at least half a dozen times and every time we’re treated extremely well. This past visit was my first encounter with Carlos and I have to say that he was genuinely interested in us and went out of his way to make sure our stay was pleasant. Actually, everyone at the front desk that we spoke to was great. Carlos even upgraded everyone in our party (two rooms) without being asked.
The Courtyard in Santa Ana is very nice and we like staying there but the way we’re treated at the Fairfield in Tustin keeps us coming back again and again. We will always stay there when we’re in Orange County.

I stay at the Fairfield Inn Tustin at least once a month on business. Every member of the staff– housekeeping, the dining room staff, the maintenance crew and especially the front desk are so friendly and welcoming. Carlos at the front desk is the man! You can tell that he genuinely cares about people and wants to make sure that you have a great experience. I know great service and that’s what they consistently deliver.

I came to visit a friend that was staying with their parents. The lobby area is really cool and the room my friend was staying in is quite nice as well. It has a really nice bathroom!

This hotel is for heavy sleepers only! Reservation was for a quiet room away from freeway but clerk said that was only a suggestion when I got here and no quiet rooms left then said it’s not noisy. Such a lie. I have heavy duty ear plugs and still can’t sleep! So wish I had cancelled and left for a different hotel! I wouldn’t stay here again if it was free

Very clean and newer hotel. A little different than other Fairfield inns I’ve stayed at. There is no body lotion in the bathroom very odd for $ 165 a night hotel. But the worst that happened was we stayed 3
nights. The last day no one clean or made up the room. I called the front desk and asked for the manager. He called me back. He said that he checked the cleaning crews log and claimed there was a «do not disturb «on the door and that is why the room wasn’t cleaned. When I first entered the room and noticed that it was not clean I immediately looked at the outside of the door for the sign. No the do not disturb sign was inside. So the manager or cleaning crew made up a story. Whatever the case when I pay that kind of money I expect a clean room every day. Bottom line is he did not make it up to me in anyway. He did not take a penny off the bill. He must have thought I was joking.

Probably the nicest inexpesive Marriott brand hotel I have stayed at. Everything is clean and new.

Perfect location, especially for business trips! It’s near the freeway and located next to a drive thru Starbucks and FedEx. Ample FREE parking. Friendly and awesome customer service! Allen (the front desk staff) was totally friendly and he provided excellent service. Fast check in and check out. Complimentary breakfast with the basics coffee, tea, juice, oatmeal, cereal, eggs, etc. Its pretty good but nothing too fancy. Excellent furniture and décor. Bonus for the fresh floral scent lingering at the front lobby. Rooms are pretty fresh and clean. Very modern with flat screen TVs.

Still giving them a 5. Pool and Jacuzzi to relax before Disneyland. Complimentary breakfast was a hit with the kids before checking out. Will stay there again. Was able to park my car where I can see it. Starbucks being a few feet away is awesome.

Booked this place because we didn’t want to drive home at night coming from Disneyland!
So glad we found this place! Worth the price! We were greeted instantly as we walked into the hotel! Super friendly! Clean! Comfy Beds! I would stay here again! And it’s not a sketchy area so you know you’re staying in a safe neighborhood! Being that many hotels charge for parking, we were glad to know it was free here and many spaces were available! I didn’t really find any problems with this hotel!

The first complimentary breakfast ice ever seen run out. Response was its only me? Ok, I understand, but management needs to be aware of a lone solider running breakfast during the holidays. Not to mention most people book Marriotts because of service and the complimentary breakfast! This is not My usual Marriott experience
Naughty management leaving this poor lady alone. Big ups to the front desk guy trying to support her best he can. She is the only reason people are leaving this place with some sort of breakfast!

I just wrote a review for Embassy Suites in Orange, and its the total opposite of what Im going to write here. Haha.
Anyway, Ive been using this location for the last year and a half for a weekly Saturday training seminar for our business. When the space is not available at this location, we look elsewhere, just for the time being until this opens up.
Ive been treated great since day one. Staff is extremely friendly and nice. I always forget his name :(I think its Oscar… he has glasses, black short hair, about. maybe… 5’3 5’4 (sorry if youre taller lol) but hes super awesome.
We’ve had our fair shares of difficulties however, to keep this real. It wasnt always perfect. There were weekends when the AV equipment wasnt working, the projector wont come down, and Ive got 200+ people waiting to enter the doors and nothing works. Those were some serious sweat attacks and I pray that this doesnt happen anytime soon again, or ever. But the staff does what they can. Theyve ALWAYS made it up to us, whether its a credit applied to the following event next weekend, or comped something. Whatever it was, they made up for it which is a great gesture.
Paper work handling is not difficult, for the most part theyre pretty efficient with their work. Communication is important to me when money is being handled back and forth and the staff does a great job with that here.
The facility is usually very clean. They have pens and notepads on every chair already by the time I arrive in the morning before the crowd. Water is usualllyyy already in the room (sometimes they slack on that. side note)
All around, great facility. Convenient, right off the 55 freeway off Edinger. Tons of parking space available, free of charge. Nice patio area to hang out in. Starbucks, Subway, Fedex and Flame Broiler is next door. And Residence Inn also.

Location: easy to find, ample free parking, come and go as you please. Next to a Subway and Starbucks in case you’re running low on energy or inspiration AG the end of a long work day.
Room: well-​appointed, but many rooms face high-​speed roads or freeways with varying traffic noises over the course of the night, which makes for ongoing disturbances in the otherwise quiet hotel.
Breakfast: fresh variety, straightforward. Take bananas and yogurt packages with you for your commute.
Gym: a solid selection on the road.

Awesome, inexpensive hotel in a great location! Why pay $ 200 a night for a hotel near Disneyland when you can pay half the price for an extra 10 minute drive!
First off, the hotel is very spacious. I stayed in a 1 king bed room with ample living and bathroom space! The beds are comfortable, although I was a little cold at night even though I turned off the air conditioning. There is mini-​fridge AND microwave to stash your liquid courage and your leftover food. They give you soaps too, in case if you forget your hair products.
Hotel staff are very nice. Housekeeping always say hi whenever you walk passed them in the hallway. Also, the front desk is very efficient and nice. There is also a small convenience store near the front desk in case you want to grab a snack or need some medication.
The TV channels are actually a great selection! I spent a few hours watching reruns of the Walking Dead.
I used Lyft to go to bars in downtown Santa Ana, it’s only a $ 7 dollar ride!
Plenty of parking spots too! And it’s FREE!
The only downside is that if you are staying in the room facing the freeway, it WILL be noisy. I’m not too impatient with noise, but I am usually a heavy sleeper and I could hear it in my sleep. If you can’t bear it, I would ask them in advance to get a room facing the other direction.
Another downside is that because it is a cheap hotel near Disneyland, you may find families there with annoying youngsters running up and down the hallway. Of course I want to hear foot stomps and screaming at 8 am. No, I really don’t.
Also, there is a convenient Starbucks, Flame Broiler, and Subway that is about a 2-​minute walk across the parking lot. Only if you don’t want the free breakfast the hotel gives!

Checked in after a morning spent on travel and the day spent on business. Arrived at the Fairfield after battling traffic and suddenly, my day shifted gears to r e l a x! The front desk clerk was pleasant and helpful! He promptly got me checked in and I was off to a very well designed, spacious, pleasingly decorated room containing everything the road warrior needs to relax and feel at home when we aren’t. Thank you, Fairfield Inn!

One sentence review: This is an new, nicely decorated hotel that is convenient to the beach and Disneyland.
All I can say is wow! This hotel is at the top of it’s game and certainly deserves each of the five-​stars. The location opened in August of last year and features a very trendy design that blended retro and contemporary themes.
Service: Everyone was very nice! From check-​in to check-​out, I was impressed with all the associates and their friendliness.
Housekeeping: They are at the top of their game. Being in the hospitality industry, I did check the areas less commonly clean. The room was spotless from top to bottom and looked brand new.
Breakfast: Yum! All the great items you would expect from a continental breakfast. Plus, they add eggs & sausage.
Room: Very comfy and the best part is the walk in shower! After a long day at Disneyland, it was nice to take a hot shower to relax.
Amenities: The resort has a great fire-​pit area along with a pool and hot tub. You can also visit the Market for any odds & ends you may need.
Local Area: In the immediate area, there is a Starbucks, FedEx and restaurant. Other than that, it is mainly neighborhoods and local business. But it is a great location for vacationers as it is only a fifteen minute drive to Disneyland or the beach! We also spent a day in Hollywood, which was only a 45 minute drive.
I would highly recommend the Getty Museum, which is free after $ 15 parking. The Griffith Observatory is another great place to see and is free with complimentary parking.
Make sure to book here on your next trip to Los Angeles. You will not be disappointed with the impeccable service, brand new accommodations and great location!

Great new hotel, located at the approach end of John Wayne airport’s (SNA) runway 19. Close to freeways as well (I-​5 & 55).
In the same parking lot, they have Starbucks and Subway.
Room:
Very spacious even with two queen beds in it. Very clean and lots of pillows. The only thing we encountered during our stay was moist carpet area underneath and vicinity of the A/​C. We reported the problem at the front desk and the maintenance person placed three towels on the carpet. We were told it is condensation from the A/​C.
While we were there, SNA was running south operation (meaning landing and taking off from RWY 19), we didn’t hear anything. It was quiet. :D
Inside the bathroom, once in a while I hear jet engine noise very faintly. For me, it is cool because jet engine sounds are music to my ears.
Internet:
Wifi is available throughout the hotel. You have to enter your room number and your last name to connect. Free plan allows you to connect up to 3 devices.
Breakfast:
Complementary breakfast buffet is included. Scrambled eggs, pork sausage patties, several cereals, milk, yogurt, bread, coffee, tea, orange and cranberry juices.
Parking:
Free parking. My recommendation to you is to park behind the building once you have checked in and have your key card. The back door is close to the elevator.
Elevator:
There are two of them. One actually has a back door for their staff. One thing I noticed was when I looked through the opening between the elevator floor and building floor, I noticed the elevator well was flooded. I am not sure if that is normal or not. I would expect it should be dry. See my picture.
