I’ve seen some mixed reviews on here so wanted to add my 2 cents. I had a fantastic customer service experience the night I was there. Two younger girls (prob in 20s) were working and they were awesome. Incredibly helpful, offered great suggestions, wrapped the treats I was getting for my family in a really nice gift presentation and accepted the 10% off without any hassel. All while some rowdy toddlers were running wild banging on things and creating a scene while their parents couldn’t have cared less. I would have been annoyed but the girls stayed very professional. Having worked in customer service, I can appreciate when I see people who actually care about their customers rather than just doing a job. Oh and the chocolate apples and truffles we got were very tasty (even if slightly pricey) as well!

This is my second time writing a review because this place is actually that bad! I walk in and there is nobody in the store, and let me clear something up, I will not ask you to help me when you get paid to help your customers. I sat there for 10 minutes and then the lady came out and finally did her job!!!

I love this place! The owner is a total sweet heart, I always stop here when I go to the movies and she gives me 10% off when I bring in my movie ticket. I highly recommend the apple pie caramel apple and the haystacks (coconut covered in chocolate). They also always have great music playing.

A chocolate lovers paradise! I always leave satisfied. Surprisingly, my favorite thing here isn’t anything with chocolate, but actually the licorice. They have a soft strawberry licorice that is delicious! Like seriously, it’s like he best candy I’ve ever had. Definitely worth a try. This particular location has less selection than others and unfortunately only had my favorite licorice for sale in prepackaged bags. In other locations I could order by weight and I typically only eat a few.

Mmmm their chocolate covered strawberries are really worth the buy. I bought some on Valentine’s day and the strawberries were amazingly yummy. I also suggest trying the cookies n’ cream caramel apple! It’s my favorite!

I love their items and customer service (never dealt with an old Asain lady, I only come on Saturdays since I’m from out of town). I always take my daughter here after we watch a movie for a treat. She loves the peppermint white chocolate bark and the chocolate covered licorice, I enjoy the caramel pecan apples. They have reward cards for the apples and one time I forgot mine and they gave me a new one and gave me an extra punch just in case I don’t find the one I had before.

The chocolate is the bomb but the the people who work there are even better! The owner is so chill, and whenever we go there she is extremely knowledgable of her products. They dressed the bear up out in Star Wars gear which was cute

Ty was very friendly. She explained the fudge making process and gave us samples! Loved her great customer service. Also, she had the biggest smile on her face :)

Stopped in here after a quick lunch at The Kroft with Lalida S. I was looking for a tiny dessert before I hit the road and wandered around the District for a bit. After almost giving up and heading towards the parking lot, I happened upon Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
Being a truffleupagus, I was of course immediately drawn to their large truffle selection. There were definitely a lot of other treats to be had, but if I didn’t concentrate on one thing I would have bought the whole store! Raspberry, pumpkin spice, dark chocolate, cappuccino, kahlua, and some others that I’ve forgotten due to snuffling these down too quickly. Even the sugar free ones were quite divine. Of course the price can add up if you go crazy, but hey, gotta indulge once in a while, right?
These make for a great gift too, but just make sure they don’t start melting en route to your delivery location. That will definitely take the wind out of your gifting sails and the recipient won’t be so impressed… then you’d have to take them back and eat them yourself. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm… did that person even know you were going to bring them a gift???

After eating at Panera we spotted this «chocolate» shop. I saw some beautiful caramel apples topped in a large variety of things. The kids chose the mini m&m one. I chose a raspberry truffle. Hubby chose a coffee one. The lady offered to cut up the apple. We sat outside by the fountain to enjoy our spoils. My first bite of the delicous looking apple was not enjoyable. The caramel is SUPER artificial. Hubby tasted is truffle and it was disgusting. He loves chocolate and spit it out. I took my raspberry truffle for the road. I tried it near Barstow and it was AWFUL too. I regret spending money at this place. The chocolate tastes like that preboxed Whitmans stuff from Walmart. DO NOT COKE HERE.

I bought a sea salt caramel apple and a quarter pound of fudge. The fudge was good… but basic. I’ve had better. DON’T GET THE SEA SALT CARAMEL APPLE. The apple and the chocolate coating were good, and I didn’t mind the pasty caramel, but the sea salt was unbelievably overwhelming… so overwhelming that I’m writing my first Unilocal review to warn people. I was also going to talk about a rude black-​haired lady when I was here last week… but seems like she has already been mentioned in other reviews. 2 stars because both the apple and the lady were just too salty.

On top of their super bad customer service, their chocolate tasted soo GROSS.
Especially their caramel apple… The caramel apple taste like some nasty caramel paste.
The manager was super rude! The workers were unhelpful ._​_​_​. But since I wanted chocolate, I didn’t really care… BUT NOPEEEE. Their products tasted like their personality, AWFUL.
I got a chocolate bar… tasted like any generic chocolate. except a bit worse
I got a small box with different assorted chocolate. PASS
And omg, their Caramel Apple… O M F G. I tried caramel apples from so many different stores/​places but let me tell you. THIS IS NOT CARAMEL APPLE. Their apple is NOT FRESH. Tasted nasty and their caramel didn’t even tasted like caramel. I let my friend tried it and she was like ‘wtf is this??’ and then I gave it to my little sister who is 10 and even she didn’t want it. I threw that shit away. SOOOO GROSS

Love the caramel apples here they are always fresh and delicious !! All employees are nice and courteous I always make sure to stop by when am at the district

The apples are whatever.
But the real reason for my review, is this sad hag little old lady who I believe is the owner is overly rude. I asked if she could convert a couple bucks worth of change into cash and she barely looked at me, said no and then ran into the back to avoid me. Yeah what a professional business owner! Surprised this place has lasted this long with Mrs. Miyagi

Great service and great products. The tiger bark is one of my favorite junk food candies ever. I don’t know how they make their chocolate covered marshmallows so good.
The female employee who helped us today was very knowledgable and accommodating.

Empty shelves, stock… and didnt know their own product! Hair in face… wrinked shirts… poor grammar and manners…

I was skeptical about this location due to the low reviews but glad I came. This store is recently under new ownership and everything was great.
Service was great and the owner was working and served me. He talked a little bit about the store/​company and the process to make their product. He has a lot of pride in the store and it sure shows by the service, cleanliness, and organized store.
I’ve been to a few Rocky Mountain stores throughout the country and this location stands out.

Owner is really nice and gave us an extra hole punch on the frequent card.
The apples were good. Cheesecake is a mild taste. Apple pie really tastes just like apple pie. English toffee if you love chocolate is drenched in chocolate so might be good too.
And for all you HK fans… she lives here too!
