History

Established in 2013.

6 years ago I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. It was quite a scare since I was only 26 years old. I couldnt understand how I could have skin cancer at such a young age! Unfortunately it is becoming more and more common for young adults to develop these skin tumors. I was a cheerleader in high school and would go tanning 3 times a week so I could «look good «in my cheering uniform. I thought it made me look thinner and healthier. Well as it turns out I was doing the opposite of health for my skin, I was doing the worst thing possible for it. UV rays from tanning beds are carcinogens and triple your risk of melanoma. I now have a huge scar on my chest thats a daily reminder of just how important it is to take care of your skin, starting at an early age. I had to get steroid injections and laser therapy to lighten and decrease the size of my scar as well. I cant stress enough how important it is to wear sunscreen and avoid tanning beds. She makes sure your tan is even, taking special care with the places that can soak up too much color, like the backs of your hands. This review is long overdue. Rhiannon came to my home and sprayed my husband and I before we left for vacation in Hawaii. We both desperately needed it but my husband especially– he’s a real whitey. She arrived on time, set up in less than 10 minutes, consulted with us and made us feel super comfortable. My husband looked great– naturally tan and not orange at all. Our family kept complimenting us on how nice and tan we were. Little did they know we had spray tans! I felt good knowing that Rhiannon’s products are organic, too. I’ll definitely be using Sol Mist again!

I needed to even out my tan lines for a wedding. Rhiannon came to my house and gave me my first ever spray tan. I was nervous that I would look orange but Rhiannon reassured me that the tan would look great. She was right. Everything was so even and she covered up my tan lines. I got so many compliments on my tan. I love that she gave me instructions for what to do before and after getting my tan and if I had more questions she said I could text her to ask. Rhiannon made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. I will be calling her for more tans in the future.

My best friend was getting married, so I decided to get us glowing for the event. The tanning salon I had booked the week before asked me to reschedule less than 24 hours before my appointment, so I had to find somewhere else to get our tan. Rhiannon texted me back right away after I found her on Unilocal and scheduled us for the following day. She set up the tanning tent in my living room and didn’t mind that the parking in my apartment complex sucks. We had never had spray tans before but she made us feel totally comfortable and at ease. Our tans looked great and my friend glowed on her big day. If I ever want to get some color again I’ll definitely go back to her.

I highly recommend Rhiannon at Solmist for spray tanning. Spray tanning is kind of an intimate thing and I was a little weary for my first one, but she is so professional and kind I felt very comfortable which is really important. Plus she comes to you which is great. I’ve had a couple from her now and won’t go anywhere else. It looks so natural and even, never a streak or a mark, that people always think it’s a natural tan. I’ve received a lot of compliments on her spray tans.

I love SOL MIST TANNING! As a professional dancer I have been through my fair share of spray tanning adventures and this is definitely my favorite! Rhiannon is extremely professional and really flexible with my busy schedule it makes the whole process so easy! I am used to being really sticky and not being able to move after spray tans until I feel fully dry hours later but with SOL MIST I feel fresh after my tan and the best part is I don’t feel like I smell like a spray tan when I leave! I highly recommend this spray tan! Rhiannon is very sweet and professional. She is accommodating and helpful by coming to your location and working with your schedule. She is experienced, having had her business a long time, and knows what she is doing. Most importantly, the spray tan is great. It was perfectly even, no mishaps. This was seriously the BEST tan of my life! It was so quick and easy, not messy at all and it actually smelled really good. I always tried tanning beds to get a tan for an upcoming event but I’m on the fair side so it would take me forever (like weeks going everyday – which is such a waste of time) to get any color plus I hated it because it’s so bad for your skin. But this was amazing! It only took a few minutes, and the tan was instant! I didn’t even have to wait for it to «develop» like other self tanners. Plus it’s not streaky at all and it lasted forever. Rhiannon was super friendly and professional and she is now my go-​to tanning professional whenever I need a great (and natural) looking tan. I would recommend her to anyone needing an awesome tan in and out of summer. Totally worth every penny.
