Dr. Lori Yoo is fabulous. She treats you like her number one patient. I have never had to wait for an appointment they get me in immediately and once I arrive I NEVER have to wait!!! That is so hard to find. They respect my time and value my business.
When Dr. Lori Yoo isn’t busy with patients she even answers the phones to insure the clients in store are helped immediately by the other employees… So you are never left waiting around for someone to help you.
They have THE best and hottest selection of frames from affordable lenses all the way up to high dollar designs. Crystal Rameriz has picked out all of my last frames for me!!! She looked at my face and knew exactly what would fit perfectly. They are constantly getting new frames in.
I am a customer for life.

Again 5 star review! I can’t believe how patient and caring the staff are here. My father had brain surgery and since then he’s never been the same. He suffers from speech aphasia and he has great difficulty communicating to anyone. He complained to me that he was having some vision problems and so I brought him to the friendly staff at The District Eye Care. Now the staff here get my sincerest gratitude for being so patient and kind to my father. He was having great difficulty understanding whenever the doctor asked him questions, yet the doctor did his examination with great patience and a smile. I even started to get frustrated with the situation, but the doctor did not and was very patient and professional throughout the appointment. I never once felt that they got annoyed or frustrated during the appointment.
If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you so much!

My girlfriend referred me here. She likes people more than I do… She is nicer about things and I honestly did not expect this place to be as «incredible» as she said. The selection of frames is spot on, all new and very eclectic set. Stuff I have never seen before and was so impressed. Crystal is awesome she remembers who I am and makes it streamlined getting in and out quickly with attention to detail and respect for my time. She gets everything done so fast. This is the best place hands down.

I’ve worn glasses for over 17 years. I’ve had glasses made from Fedco (who remembers this place??) Costco, Online (Coastal), Lenscrafters… and sadly this is by far the only place that I have been dissatisfied with.
I got my frames from here, because I was specifically looking for TC Charton frames. Found a pair I loved & ended up getting my lenses done here.
My glasses have been sent back TWO TIMES. I’m not sure what anti reflective coating they are using but it’s horrible. Compared to all the other glasses I’ve had for YEARS, they are all still better than these. I’ve taken side by side pictures comparing them, and there’s a definite difference.
The experience has been frustrating, because not only do they not offer a refund on their items, satisfaction is NOT guaranteed. Funny enough, every time they are comparing my current glasses with their new ones, they compliment mine thinking it’s theirs. How idiotic is that?
I thought supporting a smaller optometry place would be more beneficial than a larger chain, but I was wrong. I WANT TO WEAR MY GLASSES THAT I PAID FOR… but yet its been going on for over a month, of sending them back and getting them back the same way.
Don’t go here, you’re better off at LensCrafters.

Dr. Lori Yoo is excellent! I brought my 10 year old daughter in for eye exam and contact lens fitting anout a month ago. She was very professional and thorough. She was slso very helpful helping her pick out frames for an Asian nose. The staff is super friendly also. They were very accomodating scheduling and very informative about our insurance plans. I had my own eye appt there yesterday. I had Lasix approximately 3 years ago but noticed my left eye has been slightly off. She preformed a through exam and we discussed my options. She is knowledgeable regarding lasix and how to help correct minor issues like mine that sometimes happen. I’m still glad I had lasix but feel lucky that Dr. Yoo can help me with my minor issues. I higly recommend her to anyone looking for a great eye doc.

Very genuinely friendly staff, from the optometrist to the gentlemen in the reception area. Very attentive and nice. Almost no wait time, and a BIG selection of frames to choose from! My exam was done thoroughly and the optometrist took her time did not rush anything, which I loved. I will surely recommend and continue coming here!!! Had a great experience! Plus they have complimentary coffee/​bottled water/​sodas!

Absolutely awesome came here from a place in Santa Ana and from now on I’m never going anywhere else. The staff is very friendly Dr. L is also very knowledgeable and friendly. They offer you free coffee and soda :). The wait was not long at all that’s how it should be especially when you have an appointment.

This place is a gem! I went to three stores prior to shopping here to find new glasses. Their selection is incredible. There are many designer brands (Cole haan, Oliver peoples, etc…) that I couldn’t find at other larger stores.
The staff is extremely helpful and very honest which I appreciate when it comes to picking fashionable, trendy glasses. Crystal in particular made my shopping experience seamless!

A great experience! This was my first time here, I went in for an eye exam. Everyone was really nice and friendly. Dr Yoo was very patient and nice. I will definitely be coming back.

I really like Dr. Yoo. She is very thorough and kind. That’s really all I can ask for In an optometrist. Also, the staff are super nice, competent, and organized.

If they can’t even handle phone calls correctly — I can’t even imagine how they would handle my eye exam. Moving on.

Amazing, amazing! I went in to get new lenses for my glasses. Visited a few times (for inquiry, dropped off prescription, adjustment, etc) and had a chance to interact with 4 of their staff members. EVERYONE there is very friendly and helpful! A++ for customer service. They gave me an outstanding deal on the new lenses which really helped me out big time since I’m a broke grad school student. Will be returning again possibly for contacts and maybe even prescription sunglasses! Highly recommend!

I finalized my eye exam including the dilation and pressure tests for both contact lenses and glasses. I ordered my dailies True Eyes contacts and love them! I switched from the Acuvue Oasys to True Eyes. Such a huge difference!

Dr. Yoo is nice, professional, and gets the job done. She deserves 5 stars! However…
As for her assistant, the old Hispanic man… he’s HORRIBLE!!! He calls me by the wrong name which I had to correct. Next, while he’s doing my contact pre-​exam, he forgets to do certain steps and is disorganized. He plays it off by laughing but to me, he was literally on my last nerve.
Finally, which is the reason I will probably never return is when I was proceeding to check out, the old man tried to sell me a years worth of contacts so he can make sales and use all my insurance coverage.
Ummm, I specifically stated I just wanted to get my contact prescription and maybe a box or two but again he sells me 6 months worth. So at that point I just wanted to leave because he’s slow, stupid, or dumb to comprehend.
Dr. Yoo… if you’re reading this, find another assistant that can do the job professionally and efficiently.

Excellent customer service! The whole staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. They put their clients’ first and it shows. I would recommend them to anyone that is need of great eye care and a fair price.

Beware

The nicest optometrist office I have ever been too! The service is impeccable. Everyone is always so nice and offering me water. I even felt comfortable getting air blown into my eye (no one likes that test!).
Dr. Lieu was very professional and explained everything she was doing. I never felt like she was in a rush to get me out. She too made me feel comfortable to ask any questions I may have. She gave me over a week supply of trial contacts (I wear daily disposable contacts) to make sure I liked the new prescription.
Besides contacts, I wanted to change out the lens for my glasses. The staff took their time to explain my options and which ones they recommended for me.
They even match costco pricing on contacts so that’s a big plus!
