What happened to this place? Used to be reasonable prices !! Won’t go back again, dresses are 39.99 for Express ?? really ?? I will go buy new for same price! The only time it would be worth maybe going here is «preferred «days with half off. This may be why when I have been here last year, store empty, who in heck is pricing USED clothes for this place ???

A great organization that truly gives back to the community. They have great clothing that is priced well for the brand.

Really like this place. I have found some great deals including clothes with tags still on them. Be careful because I have found some Forever 21 clothes in there and they are not a bargain or high end at all. But if you know what your are looking for you can get some great quality clothes for bargain prices.

I’ve shopped at the Hanger in Tustin on and off since they opened. It used to be my go-​to «thrift boutique» when I needed clothes for work. It’s upscale from an ordinary thrift store in that – although the merchandise is donated – prior to putting items up for sale, clothing is cleaned and shoes are repaired. It’s easy to negotiate the store because clothing is organized by type/​color/​size, so if you’re looking for something specific, you can find it quickly.
Two negatives are the prices and the sales staff. The prices have gone up over the years to the point the «fun» of bargain shopping has largely disappeared. It’s not a huge issue because the money goes to a good cause, but I don’t walk away feeling like I’ve gotten a deal. Also, I’ve long found the sales staff stand-​offish. I get the impression they regard the store as a bonafide boutique. While the door is open to all customers, all customers are not welcome.
Bottom line: Shop at Goodwill or others if you want to support a good cause and get a bargain. Shop at the Hanger if your sole purpose is supporting the cause.

A great place to find champagne clothes on a beer budget. Great selection and the volunteers are super helpful. They know the store inside and out, so if you’re looking for something particular, they’ll find it.

So I am a fan during the 50% off days. Those are real bargains for gently used clothes. I have found some brand new items as well. Love the brand names there too. Always helpful when needing work clothes but not wanting to spend a lot of money.

Found Tommy Bahama shirt like new. They have great mens suits from $ 50. Nice deals, super sweet help. Best of all, non profit and helps a great cause.

I miss the old Hanger — where you could spot a good deal and feel as if you won the lotto and supported the great programs at Working Wardrobes.
I didn’t feel like that today while shopping.
I love the programs at Working Wardrobes so much — I’ve donated over the years in hopes of helping those re-​entering the workforce a jump start on their wardrobe. It’s a great cause and deserves support.
So I’m pained to not be able to write a glowing review.
Prices seem higher and more confusing than ever (what color is the tag? what color is the hanger? Is it consignment or not?)
If I could send one message to the management it would be ‘tone down the attitude — it’s a thrift shop.‘
If you’re looking for deals, drive to Costa Mesa and try the Goodwill, Buffalo Exchange or Assistance League of Newport Mesa and spread some of your dollars around and still support a non-​profit.
