History

Established in 2007.

Beth Costa began her career in television as a set/​production designer. Her love of flowers, gardening, entertaining and interior design made it natural for her to transition into floral design. Beth started out as a solo-​preneur working out of her home. The Pink Daffodil has grown into a studio full of mega talented designers. Our designs have been spotted at the St. Regis Resort, The Balboa Bay Club, Pelican Hill, Riviera Magazine Events, Mission Viejo Country Club, Pinterest and many other venues in the Southern California area.

I had the pleasure of stumbling across the pink daffodil years ago, while I worked at an insurance agency. Although we only communicated several times thru email, I was intrigued by the name of her business, and went online to research. I instantly fell in love with the floral designs online, and kept her and her business in the back of my mind, for when I was actually engaged and going to plan a wedding. Luckily, three years later, I found myself in that position. We had a very small budget and I wasn’t sure we could even afford flowers for a reception. Being that this world is very small, our photographer, was familiar with Beth, and had just photographed her daughters wedding and her name popped back up on the wedding planning horizon. So I thought, what the heck, it’s worth a try to see if we can work with her. I emailed Beth on Unilocal,and she got back to me that very night. My fiancé and I met up with her in her sweet office in Tustin and we instantly fell in love with her. She has the best vision for flowers!!! I had very few ideas to bring to the table, and what she produced was more than I could have ever dreamed up for our wedding. She worked with our budget and had great suggestions for cheaper flowers that were still the style of what i wanted for the wedding. The best part about working with Beth, is her attention to detail, when I asked for something, she made it work. I wanted to incorporate my moms dress into my bouquet, and she literally deconstructed flowers that were sewn onto my moms dress, and made it the most beautiful «holder» I’ve ever seen. It meant the world to me and my mom. She was fantastic the day of the wedding, dropping off my flowers to my maids and I, and navigating her way around our lively group of groomsmen. When I walked into our reception, I was blown away by the flowers and our sweetheart table was extra special. I highly recommend Beth & The Pink Daffodil. I can’t thank you enough for all you did for us!!!

We have used Beth and her flower services before and have nothing but high praises for the quality of the flowers and her vision and presentation. This past weekend we had her do my daughter’s wedding and she knocked it out of the park!!! Beautiful colors that matched exactly what we wanted and the arrangements were just perfect. Every little detail was looked after and I had so many people compliment me on them. She is simply AMAZING and VISIONARY!!! Plus she is so much fun to plan with!

We had a really small budget for our wedding and I never thought I’d be able to afford to hire a florist. I thought I was going to have to buy flowers and create the bouquets on my own, which freaked me out because I knew we wouldn’t have enough time. Then a friend of ours referred us to Beth and I just can’t say enough great things about her. We had the pleasure of sitting down with her to discuss what we needed and she had so many great ideas and suggestions as well as pictures of her work and she was so incredibly helpful, even going out of her way to give us tips that weren’t flower related to make sure we had everything concerning the wedding covered. She even remembered to ask if we needed a bouquet for Marry since we were having a Catholic wedding, which is something that we would’ve completely forgotten about otherwise. She also gave us advice about keeping the invitations organized and referred me to an amazing seamstress to do my dress alterations (which saved me over $ 200!), the list of what she did for us just goes on and on.
In the end, Beth provided us with beautiful bouquets, boutonnières and loose flowers for us to use in our centerpieces for a price that we were incredibly happy with and didn’t break our budget. She also provided us with peace of mind and the knowledge that she had our best interests at heart from the very beginning. It’s incredibly rare and refreshing to meet people like her.

Beth Costa is hands down the best florist in the area (and in my opinion, all around). From the moment you meet Beth, it is like you have met a long lost friend. She is friendly, creative, and truly an artist. Her taste in décor and floral arrangements is truly classy and elegant. I came in with a small budget and a big vision and she was able to go BEYOND what I could even imagine my wedding flowers would be like. I trusted her taste so much that I asked her to help me pick the table cloths and yet again, her recommendation was perfect. My flowers were blush and ivory and my colors were gold, blush, and ivory. I have included pictures of her masterpieces for such an affordable price. Out of all my vendors, my wedding guests wanted to know who the florist was because they were blown away. Two people actually argued over one of the centerpieces because they both wanted to take it home! haha! Seriously, I really searched for an incredible florist and Beth and the Pink Daffodil crew are the people you want working for you on such a special day.

Beth did the flowers for my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah a few weeks ago. She did an amazing job. She is a true artist and designer. Beth took the time to speak with my daughter to find out what would make the day special… for her. They talked about the color/​type of container and the flowers that would reflect my daughter’s style. My daughter chose vintage blue mason jars and coral flowers. The arrangements were stunning and we received many compliments on them. Beth was available by phone and texting whenever I had a question. After meeting with Beth, I was very relaxed because I knew we were in excellent hands. Btw, her office is gorgeous and she has referrals for other party needs — hair/​makeup and other vendors. Thank you Beth!

Beth at The Pink Daffodil is just amazing! She’s so bubbly but down to earth. She’s patient, calm and knowledgeable.
I chose Beth not only for her personality, but also because she listened to what I wanted. Other florists flat out told me there was no way to get the flowers I had fallen in love with (even though I had researched to see if they would be available for my late January wedding). She understood that only my bouquet needed to have purple ranunculus, but she also made sure to find out what I wouldn’t mind having as a replacement. She explained the ranunculus might be more expensive, but she would do her best to find them, even suggesting as my wedding drew near flowers I hadn’t thought of but that fit with what I wanted.
She was so gracious when I showed up with my mom, sister and roommate for a consultation in November. I believe she came in on her day off because it was the weekend my mom was in town.
My bouquet and my three bridesmaids’ bouquets were perfect! I wish I had had more time to just look at the flowers, but I’m so glad we got photos. She included a toss bouquet and when I was unable to wrangle up a flower girl, she smartly offered to arrange the petals down the aisle before the ceremony.
Beth is very thoughtful. You couldn’t ask for a better florist for your wedding. Not only are her arrangements out of this world, but she’s so pleasant to work with you’ll want her around all the time.

Beth did my wedding two months ago and I still cannot get over how amazing my flowers looked. I initially met with her just to see what was out there and I immediately knew she was the florist I have to have.

She is soooo knowledgable and knows her flowers and showed me so many different shades of purple and made the process so easy. I’m not a flower person and spending money on flowers was not easy. She made the process so easy and stress free.
The best part was that she wasn’t pushy at all and truly stuck with my budget. I couldn’t even believe how amazing it all looked for the price. She truly loves what she does and really cares about the event! Her energy is amazing!
Everyone should pick Beth to do their wedding flowers! You will not be disappointed!

What a blessing to find Beth and her team! Better pictures and the brides review to come in a few weeks, but as the MOH I somehow earned the privilege to speak for the whole bridal party. We met Beth in her office and we had two color suggestions a few flowers we did not want, and a budget. She showed us a few examples of her centerpieces and bouquets and we left the creativity up to her. When her staff showed up with the flowers for the wedding the bride cried and eventually the guests fought to win the centerpieces! Her bridal flowers come in cute vases and her ribbon was a perfect match.
If you are hesitant to book a florist/​artist for your wedding, do not hesitate any longer. You have found the best florist in Orange County. She returns calls and text right away and she makes you feel so important.

Beth is amazing! I had met with a few other florists, but for various reasons I found myself leaving the appointments kinda unexcited… They just didn’t wow me. I was beginning to get worried since our date was coming up quickly. And then I met with Beth. She is so sweet and makes you feel like your day is important to her, too. She listened to all of my ideas, and offered other great suggestions. The one flower that I really wanted to be in my bouquet was a red daliah, and Beth made it happen; even though I’d been told by other florists that it would be impossible. She gave us an amazing price, too! On our wedding day our flowers showed up right on time and looking amazing! Seriously, my bouquet was perfect! There is a reason Beth has 5 stars… she is fan freaking tastic. I cannot RAVE enough about how amazing her skills are when it comes to floral arrangements. I just got married a few days ago and I was astonished at the love and beauty that was put into the bouquets I received from her. She was excellent at communicating with me over the phone. I explained to her via text what I wanted and sent her pictures. I trusted her judgement and she did not disappoint. When she delivered the flowers at the wedding venue I was astonished… just GORGEOUS WORK. Not only that but she is a genuine sweetheart of a woman. I am so thankful I got her information from my son’s nanny Monica (she also did her wedding).
During the wedding everyone kept commenting at how beautiful my bouquets were… everything was top notch! I highly recommend her for anything! Weddings, funerals, just because… DO IT! Beth did the flowers at my wedding and she blew everyone away. I was going for a rustic look with lots of wooden elements and texture. She worked with me all the way and was so adaptive with changes we made up until the week before the wedding. She was prompt, creative, and professional. She was also very helpful with helping me choose which flowers to pick for seasonal prices and helped me stay within budget. I told her I wanted a huge overflowing bouquet and she delivered with a gorgeous one I will never forget and love to look at photos of! She even made our dreams come true and got heather for the boutinneres, one of Scotland’s main flowers since I married a Scotsman which made them so special. Everyone still raves about the centerpieces she created for the reception.
There are one million things you worry about when you’re getting married, but flowers were not one of them that I ever lost sleep over and neither will you if you choose Pink Daffodil!
