I just had my wedding at the Wilcox Manor (the last one of the year) and I could not be happier that I chose the Wilcox Manor as my wedding venue.
Lindburgh and Michael, the owners, were a delight to work with. Lindburgh answered all of our questions in a timely manner and did a great job putting everything together for the day of the wedding. We had to coordinate for 200 guests, so it was no easy task. But unlike the stories I’ve heard from other brides about being stressed on the day of their wedding, Lindburgh made the process so smooth I really didn’t have to think about much other than simply enjoying my wedding day!
We started our ceremony at 3 pm and dinner around 5:30 pm. I got so many compliments from guests regarding the ambiance and feel of the venue at night. With the lights all around, your newlywed spouse next to you, guests you love around you, the night was truly magical.
I also loved that there were tours running throughout the day for guests to learn about the manor. Such a unique touch to add to our wedding.
To top it all off, the venue price is very reasonable for what you get. Lindburgh will also work with outside vendors given they know what they are doing. We brought in our own caterer and florist. This saved me a lot of money. Many venues force you to work with their preferred vendors which lock you into a certain price range for food, etc.
Overall, I had a great experience at the Wilcox Manor. I highly recommend any future brides to check this place out if you’re looking for an intimate wedding venue with LOTS of character.

Attended the Hallow-​Wine Spooktacular to raise money for the OC Food Bank. This venue is only open for private events and wedding. It’s the biggest home in a regular neighborhood, so a shuttle brings you in from a nearby location. A docent leads you through the home built in the 1800’s which is filled with old English finery, and gives you a mini Heart Castle historical feel. Everything happens in the backyard which has a dance floor, large areas for mingling. The bathrooms are located in a small building on the property which has four amazing over the top bathrooms for guests. You feel like you’re in an intimate backyard owned by someone you know. Nothing corporate about this venue,

In a nutshell: Wilcox Manor was magical, unique, hands-​on, affordable, & very easy to work with.
At length: We met with Lindburgh McPherson & had a tour of the Manor. It is a historic home that was built in 1880, originally as a hotel, & now serves as a beautiful piece of living history for Old Town & Tustin in general. Lindburgh & his partner, Michael, live in the home & have filled the interior to the brim with antiques & creative pieces from their travels around the world. The exterior is filled with flowers, statues, café & string lights, & special touches abound. There’s a beautiful, huge fuerte avocado tree shading the entire bar & side-​patio that is over 150-​years-​old (If you are lucky, Michael will send you home with a GIANT avocado.), a built-​in dance floor, gazebo & more.
For history buffs or art aficionados on your guest list, you’ll be delighted to know that docents from the Historic Society will be on site to show your guests around the ground floor of the estate & answer any questions they might have about the building, its history or the eclectic contents. There is so much to see! In fact, my only regret is that we were so wrapped up in all the fun & busyness of the wedding that we forgot to take some professional photos of ourselves inside the home.
Through their contacts, we ended up hiring 5 servers/​bussers to help with passed appetizers & the buffet & 1 bartender for our self-​stocked bar & it worked out perfectly. We had 90 guests to help put that in perspective. The bar is supplied by the venue with ice & glasses. We brought in our own caterer (a taco cart w/​two cooks) & provided our own alcohol. Since the caterer was new to the venue, Lindburgh asked to do a walkthru meeting with them to feel them out & go over specifics — I was afraid that the catering company would charge us for the extra time/​visit, but it worked in the caterer’s favor, as they were happy to get their foot in the door. They met us at Wilcox Manor for free & the walkthru was extremely helpful for all parties.
There is a guest cottage/​bridal suite available all day for the bridal party to get ready or for the bride & groom to escape to after the ceremony for some peace & quiet. There are 4 guest restrooms (each themed after a different member of royalty), chandeliers will be hung from café lights, & all your tables/​chairs/​place settings/​linens/​etc. are included. Lindburgh has a plethora of color choices & he’ll meet with you several times to review your ideas for your event & will stage a full table setting so that he can take pictures of just how you want it setup. They have an aisle runner for the bride, 50 parasols for guests to use in the sun, two TV’s for photo slide shows, & two shuttle buses to provide transportation to & from their off-​site. The best part? All of this is included in their price. EVERYTHING. They even provide ice, water w/​pitchers on the tables, a drink station, a coffee station… Everything is included except for the consumables & vendors, but they are more than happy to offer recommendations.
Now, while it was a fantastic evening, it did have a few hiccups — Nothing is perfect. It was 90+ degree weather & there was no a/​c in the guest restrooms; this was unfortunately where the groom & groomsmen were supposed to get ready & hang out. The bridal suite had an a/​c unit, but it was doing next to nothing for us. Michael brought in two fans, but it was just so hot in general that it barely made a dent. The only other issues we had were electrical. For some reason, our DJ’s mic would not work with the sound system, but at least the one for the ceremony did… We also had power fluctuations between our photo booth & some string lights. So, they need to do a little work on making sure everything electronic is working efficiently. Otherwise, it was a wonderful night.
Both Lindburgh & Michael were there helping to keep the evening running smoothly. Lindburgh worked hand-​in-​hand with my day-​of coordinator to make sure everything was setup & paced how I wanted it. Michael hosted tours of the home for some of our family & friends. Our guests had nothing but delightful compliments on how pretty & unique the location was. Our photographer had a field day with all the little details. We ended up having a fantastic & memorable wedding & we are so grateful to have Lindburgh, Michael & Wilcox Manor to thank for it.

The Wilcox Manor is a great place to consider for your wedding and working with Michael and Lindburgh is very pleasant. Our few criticisms are not difficult to overlook and overall we were provided a great venue, which included all basic furnishings and décor as well as great service, especially on the day of our wedding. Unfortunately, we did find them to be unresponsive to emails on several occasions. Also, the venue underwent some noticeable changes, namely the addition of a large wall with statues and a loud fountain near the location of the dance floor, between the time of booking and having the wedding. Besides these two complaints leading up to the wedding, the day itself was very well managed by both owners, who worked hard to keep things under control and keep the stress off us. Booking your event at the Wilox Manor is certainly worth looking into.

What a cool place to host a day or evening party! When I first arrived, I thought I was in the wrong place, since it’s surrounded by ordinary suburban homes, but then I saw the massive carpet runway and signs in the front for my friend’s grad party. This place is definitely a historical gem and it’s fun to walk around inside & take a peek at all the crazy ornate décor and memorabilia.
The outside garden areas are even more beautiful. I forgot I was in Tustin!

I decided to throw myself a 70ieth birthday party and after seeing the Wilcox Manor as a possible location-​I was sold! The party was to be outside and they had everything we needed in the event it was a cool evening. They even had hanging chandeliers that beautifully lit the yard. In fact, the entire event was handled as if royalty was coming to attend! Not only is this historical home a perfect place for a great event, but Lynburg and Michael, the owners, are the very best ever to work with. The staff that catered our party was over the top outstanding. I have never seen a yard decorated so beautiful for a party. We didn’t want to go home!
I highly recommend the Wilcox Manor and give it five starts! I would give it more stars if I could!

I worked with Lindburgh on a company event in Nov. 2014. He takes the stress off of you instantly by welcoming you into the manor, giving you a tour of the grounds, and making you feel at home. Wilcox Manor is a true hidden gem in Tustin and is an ideal location for a gala, corporate event, wedding. Everything was perfect on the night of our event! It was truly magical with chandeliers hanging from the tall trees! Our guests really enjoyed the docent-​led tours. There are many ways you could customize Wilcox Manor to create a one-​of-​a-​kind venue for any occasion. All of the treasures inside the manor are from varying centuries and countries. An event at Wilcox Manor is a two for one deal– a historic museum tour and an elegant outdoor venue! Thank you to Lindburgh for making our event such a success!

This is the perfect location for an outdoor or tent venue. The garden reminds you of Versailles is Paris, beautiful crystal and décor to take your breath away. Lindberg and Michael truly here what there clients want and do everything to make «your» day magical.

My husband & I are happy to say that the most perfect wedding we’ve ever attended was our own. We always knew we wanted a wedding where everyone would have a relaxed, joyful experience among friends and family, feeling welcome… something you just can’t have by simply renting out a ballroom or other such venue. Because of Lindburgh and Michael, our special day at Wilcox Manor more than exceeded our expectations. Since Wilcox Manor is a historic home, our guests had the pleasure of being guided through the amazing interior by knowledgeable docents. Our ceremony and reception were held outside on a beautiful summer evening. The chandeliers, gazebo, gorgeous landscaping, beautiful tables & chairs, and excellent sound system made for a magical experience.

My husband and I were looking for the perfect place to get married. We wanted an intimate setting but had over 180 guests! When we went to Wilcox Manor, we knew we had found the ideal location, with a gazebo and an outdoor seating area that could accommodate everyone comfortably as well as lovely landscaping and chandeliers hanging above for a more formal setting. We also found that Wilcox Manor was a great value for us and gave us the opportunity to expand our catering choices.
As an added bonus, Lindburgh and Michael included so many «extras,» such as linens to buffet serving pieces, that we saved over $ 1,500 off of our catering bill.
Lindburgh made sure everything was in place for our special day and made both the wedding party and all of our guests feel «at home.» He literally rolled out the red carpet for me to walk down the aisle. When one of the older guests said she was little chilly, Lindburgh quickly reappeared with a blanket for her. He was both a host and a wedding coordinator for us and helped the catering staff find the perfect way to set up their stations. Docents were also available to provide historical tours of their lovingly restored home while guests waited for the reception to begin.
The valets also made sure that no one waited long for their cars and were both courteous and professional to the guests.
We have received so many compliments about our wedding and Wilcox Manor since that special day. It was, truly, the perfect place for us… a beautiful, intimate setting for a large wedding, a wonderful venue at a great value, outstanding hosts and a location that was central to our guests. Without hesitation, I recommend Wilcox Manor to anyone that is planning a wedding or special event.
