BEST tattoo shop in the 29 palms, I say that because living on base I see other shops work and their no comparison. Very professional staff, shop has relaxing family type environment. These guys really hold up to their reputation and name of Top notch ink. Once your their once you’ll be back again and again.

Nick did 2 tattoos for me and they turned out even better than i thought! So much detail, i don’t trust any one else to do my tattoos out here! He’s the best hands down. Top notch is an awesome shop with great artists! Love this place, super friendly.

Got a tattoo on vacation in Joshua tree. I’d go here. We were referred by a local and if off the main 29 palms highway. Solid work. Cool clean shop with private rooms. Super open high ceilings which is good if your in for the long haul. The bf and I got matching sacred geometry. The artist nailed it. Super happy w it. Healed up perfect. We were referred to derrick but he was busy so our artist took us. But I can’t remember his name :(but I’m sure everyone there is going to take good care of you.

I hadn’t got a tattoo since I was 18 before I met Mark. So I went in and Mark Nastress did portraits of my kids on my chest and a rib tattoo in a 8 hour session the first visit and the next visit got a tattoo on my arm and a old one brought back to life. He professionalism is stellar and his work is amazing he is fairly priced and pays close attention to detail. The shop is always full when I go and the other people there do amazing work aswell. I would recommend them to anyone who wants good work at a decent price. Also the have 450 or 500 $ tap out sessions which is cool. Keep up the good work and to the potential customer go see MARK.

Horrable I got my first tatoo with my mom black crosses on our wrist the guy messed up big time my mom’s tatoo is turning white and gray and its 3D and mine is missing a lot of black it looks 3D to the guy didn’t even get all the spots colored in and he wouldn’t make the cross smaller for us before he started don’t go here u will regret it by the way we played $ 120 for crap

I sent my friend, his wife, and mother to Top Knotch to get some work done by Mark Natress. This is what they had to say, «Mark was very friendly he joked around showed us some funny you tube videos and got us very comfortable before we got to work. Once we got started he was highly professional and his attention to detail is amazing, he took his time ensuring our design was perfect before it was final. Once we were in the chair he had a gentle hand and didn’t dig in deep like he was carving into a pice of meat ! Mark kept his funny relax attitude the whole time. I have had many tattoos by many other artist and mark is my go to guy and I highly recommend if y’all are in 29 palms and want some work done to see mark.

I love this place. The artists that work there are very talented and the shop is very clean. I got outstanding work done and so have many people I know with no horror stories or complaints from any of them. They even plan fun events and BBQs for their customers!
