Best place to eat in 29palms on or off base. Sandwiches are big. There is more different types of liquor here then I have ever seen.

Has the largest collection of liquor I’ve ever seen in my entire life. $ 3 minimum purchase with credit card. Has chips, candy, snacks, and miscellaneous household goods. Enormous variety for alcohol and beers. Check it out for yourself.

Deli had an «Open» sign lit, but was deserted and had chains on the doors. Liquor store had inventory crammed in the aisles, filthy, hot and didn’t smell good. Doesn’t take American Express. Expensive too…

A bit overpriced and I couldn’t access a few isles and or items due to boxes and unshelved items being in the way!

Youngs Liquor & Deli is by far the best in 29. the service is very friendly and understanding. Youngs works very hard to meet all your expectations and even then exceeds them. the deli is off the Chain. very cheap for the amount of food you get with the deliciouse large sandwhich and the bread is always fresh. Subway is in the same parking lot but dont waste your time or money there, go to Youngs you wont be dissapointed.

I was visiting my friend on base and we needed to make a liquor run and ended up at Youngs. The first time around, we stocked up on plenty of booze and liquor. As we left, he told me they had really great sandwiches, and I was inclined to try one but we already had dinner plans. However, the next day, I got to try one of their signature sandwiches. The sandwich was modestly priced and plenty big. My friend’s wife ordered me a turkey sandwich and had it piled with plenty of veggies. The bread was fluffy and fresh, the turkey was thinly sliced and the veggies gave it that necessary crunch. I was pretty surprised at the quality of the sandwich, as the liquor store doesn’t appear to have much potential. Give Youngs a try, especially if you live in the area, as it doesn’t appear to be many dining options besides that drive through Subway.

theyve got a decent selection of liquor related items, snacks, wines and other convenient store delicacies. the deli is known by locals to have some of the best sandwiches in town. i myself always go here when i have to make a trip to the dmv. the store workers are somewhat nice but very quite. they could use a decent dusting and a reorganizing of the whole shop cause it does seem a little cluttered but what liquor store isnt.
