I Came here for my graduation party. It was the best, I loved it. It started out with waiting for a while, after we were seated. It was pretty good, I went to grub. I love it come here for sure! If you in tyler!

Came here for solo supper tonight. They have a good variety of food on the buffet. They didn’t bother with a menu, since the buffet is all they have. They have enchiladas, taco fixings, & even salads & fruits as well as desserts. I could find plenty of vegetarian-friendly options, but some of the overhead labels on the different food items were not always current. The restrooms are also well-maintained, with multiple stalls. The lighting was pretty low, making it a bit of a challenge to read. But I wouldn’t mind going back!

Been eating here for years and it’s always great. Buffet Mexican food, salad bar and dessert bar. The best taco meat I have ever tasted in my life! The tamales are delicious as well as the sour cream chicken enchiladas and refried beans. Chips are really good, salsa is fine and they have regular and spicy. The rice is perfection. They have loads of options and everything I have tasted has been fantastic. The service is great. There are lots of tables so usually no wait. The only thing I could complain about was when I was taken to my table the chair had some type of spilled liquid on it that had dried on it and no one ever wiped it off. I just swapped it for the chair next to mine. I also think they should have better signage above the food, some items are not marked at all and some were incorrectly marked. Other than that it was really good.

Came there one night for defensive driving, remembering in the past that the food was decent. Buffets are not usually known for five star cuisine. That being said, the best thing I had to eat that night was the burger I got from Burger King on the way home. The bathroom was disgusting and wet for some horrifying reason I don’t want to know about. Avoid at all costs.

Great mexican food buffet in Tyler, Texas. Most of the food on the buffet is *not* Tex-Mex but closer to traditional northern mexican(Norteno) food. The buffet has a variety of shredded beef dishes with onions and cilantro, enchiladas stuffed with carne al pastor, a number of dishes topped with queso freso and guacasalsa, fresh menudo, pozole, sauteed platanos with crema, as well as a variety of more traditional buffet offerings(salad, dessert cookies etc). Although I don’t go to Tyler often, I make sure that whenever I am in town I visit El Mejicano. They have a good variety of mexican-style(not Tex-Mex) food at a good prices.

I got a 32 oz container of hot chicken soup for my sick girlfriend. It smelled amazing and looked really good also. They have a fountain with invisible water near the front. Pitch in a penny and make a wish. I can’t speak for the buffet, but the soup was good and so was the service.

Place needs a good cleaning top to bottom. We’ve been twice — service was good the first time not the second. Food was below average. We will not be returning.

I normally despise buffets. But the crowd that comes to this place makes sure the food is consistently hot and fresh. Authentic, flavorful, everything I tasted on the Sunday buffet was delicious, from the crema and chicken enchiladas, cactus, fajita meat, to a never tried it before tiny octopus and shrimp dish. Best prices and best Mejicano tastes I have tried in all of Tyler, and maybe all of Texas. I WILL be back soon!

After getting really sick after eating at a Mexican buffet a few years ago in Denton i was hesitant to try another one. So i walk in and ask for a walk thru to see if it was even worth sitting down for. I walk towards the buffet and the stench of the bathroom almost knocked me over. I get to the spread and was overly surprised. The food looked fresh and seasoned so my son and i take a seat and begin to eat. I ate my weight in crawfish, menudo, and different variations of fajitas. No complaints about the food at all. I would’ve given it 5 stars but the smell of the bathroom knocks it down. Mightve just been a bad cleaning day.

We loved it! My hubby can be picky! Huge assortment even when watching what you eat. Very clean, great attentive service! Everything was laid out nice. Your missing out if you don’t try it. Very affordable, two of us ate for less than what you would get at Bueno and rusty, but much better food! Nothing but huge thumbs up here!

Mexican buffet at its best. Its cooked well, with proper attention, and great flavors. Never left unsatisfied for over four years. I recommend this place when your hungry. Mole with chicken, rice with or without queso as you please, traditional and tex-mex. So much to list and its my favorite place or buffet so far. And pricing is under 20.00 for two.

Love this place especially for a Mexican buffet. All your favorite choices with plenty of dessert to go along after.
