This to me is the ideal gym. I’ve workout at the big places likes lifetime, and smaller ones in other towns and around Tyler, but F.I.T. by far surpasses them all. They keep the place clean which is important to me. The classes are amazing! Now coming from experience of going to several classes the instructors are the best. Period. It’s never over crowded and has all the equipment you could ever possibly need. The childcare is great and my son LOVES going in there. Something l enjoy about this place are the people who go there regularly, are quality people that are encouraging and friendly. This place is known for its personal training as well. You’ll go in and always see at least 3 trainers working with clients at anytime of the day, and they know their stuff and are always willing to answer any questions.

Terrible. Omg. Let’s start with the incoherent kids are the front desk. The girl was wearing underwear(no, those were not shorts) and it was an apparent chore for her to greet me or explain where anything was… I’m talking basics — locker room, where the glass was going to be held, etc. Not sure how long this place has been open but one would think that the employees who have the initial contact with clients, esp new clients, would be instructed to be polite at minimum, and do I even dare say smile ?!? I know, sounds like too much to ask from someone who came to work in underwear. Perhaps she accidentally showed up at the wrong club? But I digress. The class itself was crap. could have done the same at my hotel gym. the girl who taught had no concept of time keeping or encouragement, and actually just left 10 min early and told one of the students to teach the rest of the class. Wow. Just when I think I’ve seen it all. Guessing this place won’t be around for long.
