I worked for a National Real Estate chain who’s sole mission was to be the biggest company in the world and I felt the thousands of dollars I sent them every month was not giving a return to the local community or the Real Estate agents in the office. I had won an award from Bscene magazine for the best local radio show and yet my business was not local. I was speaking about buying local from local businesses all over East Texas and yet I felt hypocritical in my own business practices. So with the help of my wife Denise and 20 other real estate agents I opened Miller Homes Group and became a local business owner.
