Just about any kind of alteration you and your family needs. Buttons, zipper replacement, special occasion wear, dresses from your patterns or I can make a pattern for you: o) I’ve been sewing since I was 12yrs old and haven’t stopped what I love yet. I can alter a suit for you in about an hour! Here’s a price sample: For a basic alteration on a suit it’s $ 10 for the pants hem (plain or cuff), $ 15 to let the waist in or out, $ 30 to let the jacket in or out, $ 30 to shorten sleeves, and $ 40 to make sleeves longer. All prices are subject to change at the discretion of the seamstress. You will know how much is due when you drop off. It’s an honest request for very honest work. You will love my work =o)

History

Established in 1983.

I started in the French Quarter with my two daughters and then relocated to the Foley’s Plaza as business grew. My daughters have families of their own now – my eldest is an Air Force wife now in Arizona and my youngest works with her husband at Faulkner Christian Univ. in Alabama. I relocated again to my present location and am still proud to serve East Texas!

Born in Peru who then moved to the US as a young women with husband who is an Oregon native. Married for over 40 yrs and have two daughters. Fulfilled dream of becoming a US citizen and launching own business of sewing.
