Horrible service! Flies everywhere it seemed. Tables unclean. Lazy staff. Go to another burger place or another Steak and Shake, not this one. Not enough space as well, hard to get a seat last time. You were warned.

Wow, I don’t know how they stay in business. Piss poor service and a waitstaff that didn’t seem to care if we were taken care of or not. When we got ready to leave no one wanted to take our money. Most of the staff were eating at the bar, including our waitress, and the waitress that was standing near the cash register got into an argument with the others about the fact she wasn’t on the clock and what do they do when she isn’t there. There were only four other customers in the place but the service was horrible. I really like the food when I can get waited on but waiting 30 – 45 minutes just for drinks is pathetic and then refills are non existent.

Horrible service. We’ve been to this location several times and the service just sucks. Servers don’t seem to care, cooks don’t seem to care. I’ve had it going to this place. Food is meh, rather go to Mooyah’s or Five Guys any day.

My cousins and I just left the hospice care facility next door after putting our grandmother in there. We needed a quick bite to eat before going back. So we pulled up at 8:34pm and saw the hours were until 9. I opened the door after noticing all of the chairs were on top of the tables and was confronted with an employee who had cleaning supplies in her hand. The look on her face said, «please don’t come in here». So I asked if they were open. She said, «We’re not technically closed, but we are almost done cleaning». I asked if she would rather we go elsewhere and she gave me a look to say«please?». I’ll never be back.

I read some of the reviews concerning cleanliness of this restaurant. I went in for a mid-afternoon shake There was a green bean on the floor. It took over 8 minutes to get my shake. Three of the employees were just standing behind the counter. The manager was present. The owner of the restaurant is not getting his money’s worth from his workers.

I’ve gone twice. I always give a restaurant a second chance. Both times, the wait was ridiculous for a burger that looks two days old. The second time, the drive thru attendant allowed the vehicle ahead to place an additional order t the window while my food sat there getting cold. Upon arriving at the window, I noticed she(the attendant) had disgustingly long, painted fingernails which I believe should be banned from restaurant facilities, if they aren’t already. I will never eat from this place again.

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had. My group and I walk in seeing several empty tables yet was told to wait to be seated. After a few minutes I asked someone if we can be seated. I was told to hold on just one moment… I then wait another five minutes and ask again. After getting a table and having to ask a passing busboy if he could grab our waiter we finally get to order. Food took forever, and was not what we ordered. Turns out the table next to use got our order. We never got any refills or napkins. I will NOT be going back to this place ever again. The staff was lazy, rude and frankly a little dumb.

True that the drive-in is slow. This chain started as a quasi — casual dine-in place, so the slow drive up is what I expect. If they are trying to be competitive in the lunch drive-in business, they may need to speed up. I am not in a big hurry and want to continue listening to a podcast in my car, so not a problem for me. My experience was good. The order was EXACTLY right. All veggies, no mayo, with mustard & ketchup. The burger was tasty, the lettuce, tomato & onion were fresh and I enjoyed it. It was 12 minutes from drive-in to delivery at the window. The young lady was polite and the bag included multiple napkins & ketchup packages. Also the Parmasan fries were great! Quality food that slaughters the big burger chains that requires a little longer? I’m in.

Other reviews are accurate as to the slow service in the drive thru… but I think everything is prepared after ordering. I’ve been here several times through the drive only — never inside. It’s on my way home so if the line is long I keep on driving by and go to Dairy Queen up the road. When they first opened the food and service was much better — although sometimes I’m suprised. I think the food quality has gone down recently. I’ve tried several different burgers on the menu. Occasionally they’ll be out of something and I’ll have to change… so have a back up plan! Fries are good and the shakes have been consistently good too. I haven’t had an issue with them messing up my order as some others have. I’ll eat here when time allows. It’s not spectacular and not up to par with some of the other locations like in Dallas.

Been to this location 4 or 5 times now. Always same experience SLOW service, all tables are dirty, lots of employees doing nothing, the person running cash register is always dumb, and order is wrong about 1⁄3 of the time. Why do I keep returning you ask? It brings back childhood memories and I love the milkshakes.

The manager told us we had a 15 minute wait and gave us a pager. Twenty five minutes later we spied an empty table and seated ourselves. The pager never lit up during the whole stay. We sat at at dirty table that we cleaned ourselves. After ordering the wait time was minimal for serving. The burgers buns were burned but overall the burgers were OK. The chilli was a severe disappointment with no flavor or spice at all. The salt and vinegar fries were disgustingly overloaded with salt! This was our first and last visit.

After three visits, seems popular trend is slow, slow, slow service. For a party of two to get seated, order, meal and then shakes; it took us more than hour and half. When we did get our meal; fries were cold, burgers tasted good, but slightly warmer than room temperature. Service was reluctant in giving drink refills. Took even longer time to get shakes, and when they did come out, one was wrong flavor ordered… I regretted pointing out the error and should have either taken the mistake shake or tell them to forget it altogether. Needless to say, not impressed. There are better venues with better locations. Best to leave this place with the UT college crowd.

This is not the place for lunch if you want your order done right and in less then an hour. After messing up all three orders at our table, we had to wait for 30 minutes for our burgers to come out the second time. We had ordered bacon cheeseburgers and each burger had only one peice of bacon. I had to ask for a manager who listened and comp’ed the meal. She also said that a different manager was working on the prep line. I hate to think how bad it would be if he weren’t there. I will not be going back to this location anytime soon.

First steak and shake experience. Had no idea what I was walking in to. For some reason I was expecting a fast food style steak house. Ha. Wait staff seemed overwhelmed and under-enthused so as expected, the food order was slow, bringing drinks to table was slow, everything was slow. Make another selection of you are in a hurry. But…the manager comped our meal due to extremely slow service, and I said or did nothing to preempt. Shakes were fantastic. Burger was ok. Pricing was very reasonable. Give them some time to work the bugs out.

Place just opened a month ago and is being well received by the locals as the place was just packed at lunch time. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. I had the triple steak burger with fries and had cheddar cheese added to the fries. It was a hard choice as I was really eyeing the chili mack supreme, but decided to get that to go, as well as a couple can of chili to make my own at home. Really wish they were in Washington State, but always hope for the future.
