History

Established in 1979.

Okay, so it’s an unusual name. But there’s a story behind it. A utility billing firm purchased what was then The Print Shop, located at 1701 West Front in Tyler, to outsource their bills in 1979. Totally Automated Accounting & Billing Systems (T.A.A.B.S.) was the name chosen to join the 2 ventures together. Our services evolved, but the name stuck and now stands for Tyler Advertising And Branding Solutions!

In 30 years, we’ve come a long way, baby. We became a full-​production printing facility and added custom promotional items, web design, apparel, signs and banners to the mix. And now with 4 world-​class digital production machines at our fingertips, we’re rolling right through the digital age.

Josh Kennah describes himself as Navigator, Visionary, Trend setter and Educator to the Marketing Industry. He is the General Manager, Creative Director and Brand Consultant for TAABS Inc. in Tyler Texas for the past 15 years. He is also the President and entrepreneur creator of Brand Mentors, a consulting and educational startup also located in Tyler. Josh has been the inspirational designer and creator of identities for over 200 companies around the globe and pioneered the term «Branding» here in East Texas, and trademarking the slogan for TAABS of «Brand Your Identity».
