We live close so we frequent The Blue Store. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten something that wasn’t good. My least favorite is the brisket– it seems a little dry. I love the buffets but the burgers are fantastic, too. The peach cobbler is a must!

Great food and family owned. I gave them only 2 stars as the last couple times I ordered food it has been incorrect. I ask for tator tots and I get French fries. I ask for a burger without cheese and it comes with cheese. From what I can see the kitchen is Latino heavy and I don’t think they fully understand English language which is why my orders have been incorrect. The food is good if you get what you order.

Only been here one time. Awesome burger and fries. One of the better burgers I have had. Great service. Very home spun and local. I will be back again soon!

My husband and I visited here after many recommendations on the burgers so guess what we ordered? You’re right… A burger! They were delicious and so were the fries. It would be 5 stars if the place wasn’t so dingy.

Burger tasted fresh, filling. Top 5 list for me. But my absolute favorite was the chocolate chip cookies! so many chips! it was so good. Got the bacon cheese burger with mustard. Delicious.

I passed by this place numerous times simply because of how it looked. Thought maybe since it was a gas station that the food wouldnt be anything special. WRONG. The food is great. I wasnt too impressed with their breakfast(pancakes, bacon, and eggs) but their burgers are great. Nice size and worth the money you pay for it.

Don’t let the fact that it’s a gas station throw you off. The Blue Store serves up some good food. In the morning, you can grab a breakfast burrito on the go. Lunches offer a daily special. The burgers are not too shabby. The lunch crowd can get pretty large. Lots of picnic tables outside under their porch. The staff has always been friendly.

I made a special detour on my way back from College Station so I could try the burger at this place. The verdict — I would go farther out of my way next time. It’s that good! If I’m in Tyler and I’m hungry, I’m not sure I wouldn’t drive the extra 45 minutes round trip. The flavor is excellent. Don’t be afraid to try a double if you’re hungry because the patties are kind of thin. The french fries are very good. I saw folks eating the buffet and I wanted to try it but I came for a burger and, by God, I was gonna have a burger. The atmosphere is one of a kind. The people are so friendly you think you’ve stepped back in time. I’ve been here twice(once for breakfast fare) and have to say this is one of my favorite places in the Tyler area. Smiley face and a star

The blue store has been featured in texas monthly and many newspapers and for good reason. They make some serious burgers and have a really good peach cobbler.
