Came in for lunch. Was sat at a table on top of another table(I’m not sure how those people would have left without backing into us). Sat down, squished, with no place to put my purse(and the chair had a rounded back). I saw that there was dried egg caked into my knife. Was totally disgusted and left. **Did not eat here, just saw how crowded and dirty it was and left.**

Visited this diner for Sunday breakfast based on reviews. I agree with most of the positive comments. Our meal was quickly served, portions large and hot but would say otherwise average diner fare. It is a small diner and the two waitresses where definitely maxed out but still very friendly(my coffee cup never hit bottom and was always hot). Two words of caution: 1) this is a cash-only establishment but there is no signage of any kind to let you know, 2) count you change — we were not the only table with this problem and I chalk it up to the waitresses being maxed out and without attention to detail.

What a lovely little place. It reminds me of many small spots we visit in New York City. If you want to sit in a large restaurant like Olive Garden this isn’t for you. If you like the cozy atmosphere of a small diner this is perfect. There are 3 sections/rooms to sit in and although parking looks rough just drive around back and there is plenty. We had a 10 minute wait on a Sunday at 9am so I consider that great. I was having breakfast with my grandmother, who I learned from the waitress, is a regular. They were very sweet to her. Coffee was good and my cup was never empty. I had to actually ask for no more coffee. That was a lovely change. The menu has lots of options. I love that there is a low carb option, i always find breakfast the easiest meal to eat low carb but it was great not to get strange looks when I ask for veggies instead of potatoes. I would love to see that section expanded a bit. For those of us used to eating low carb we are creative people. Salads and chicken are normal for my breakfasts and a veggie hash is simple to make with what is already on hand and wonderful with an egg over it. My breakfast came out just as I ordered. Everything was cooked perfectly. Although with the diner options in the area I haven’t been here since previous owners, this is a spot I look forward to visiting again. It is obvious they value their regulars and take the time to get to know people.

Very sweet staff. Very attentive and happy, even on a busy day! Always there with coffee. The Green Monster omelette was fresh and very good. The pancakes are huge! But… the were bland, no flavor at all. The home fries were essentially square French fries. 3 star for all the food. 5 star for the staff.

This diner was pretty cozy though it looked like they had a few small rooms including a counter. The wait wasn’t long but it was up to the 2 waitresses to bus tables(saw a bus guy buy only seemed to hold the bucket while wait staff filled it?) And deal with orders at the counter. They held their own for the most part but did forget things here and there(order for water, real maple syrup) but did brings over as soon as they were mentioned again. The best thing about this place are the prices and the pancakes. I thought my basic toast, egg and home fries were fine but nothing special. The homefries were dry and just ok in my opinion. But the pancakes I tried were delicious. My friends all enjoyed their meals for the most part. There were minor complaints over the meat(dry or tasted just eh) and the color of the strawberry topping(psychedelic) but plates were eaten clean. Prices were very low. My dish was $ 3.99 I think or close to it. For a table of 6, with several sides of bacon and such we spent 76 dollars. That’s pretty reasonable. Our waitress was friendly and easy going. She admitted to forgetting something but who could blame her with all the tables and such she had? We will probably be back. I will probably get pancakes next time!

Friendly staff and still has the prices from the past. Food is excellent and take out normally works best for us. I would recommend trying it out.

This place was recommended to me. Rude«hostess», burnt coffee, burnt French toast, sticky table. Small, dingy, and didn’t appear clean. No thanks. The one star is because Unilocal wouldn’t let me leave without a rating.

This is by far my favorite breakfast joint. My boyfriend and I go here frequently. The décor is flawed. The wallpaper is ripping off in spots, the chairs and table are old and sqeaky. But never judge a book by it’s cover. The waitresses are always friendly. And the food has been great! Their home fries are seasoned perfectly and highly addicting. Their omelets are awesome. We like our eggs sunny side up and they always do a great job cooking them just right. My boyfriend usually gets the Steak and Eggs, which is really good too. The portion sizes are huge. I think they might need bigger plates. The steak is usually piled on top of the eggs and homefries. I’ve tried many other breakfast joints and I keep coming back to the country view diner. I haven’t found another one that I like better.

I stopped into the country view diner one morning for breakfast. Beware the Unilocal directions, the place is about 3 miles closer than the directions say(when heading south). They are cash only, which i didn’t know ahead of time, but there is an attached convenience store with an atm. The place is definitely divey but the open kitchen is SPOTLESS. I ordered the eggs benedict with ham, my BF got the sausage egg & cheese breakfast sandwich, both came with homefries. I expected sliced deli ham on my benedict and was very surprised to receive a full-sized ham steak. Everything was delicious, great service and amazing prices($ 18 for the two of us before tips). I’ll be back(with cash this time!).

This was our first visit, and last. Flavorless home fries, greasy scrambled eggs, and the bacon was an odd brown color. The bacon was also greasy as if it had not been drained right away. The coffee was not very either. Tasted burnt.

We’ve visited twice for weekend brunch. The first time was after hearing there was long waits at the two nearby diners. After a quick wqit, we got a table. The service was quick, friendly, and pleasant. The portions were generous and the menu options varied. Parking can be a challenge but we’ll be frequenting this diner from now on.

My wife and I checked this place out after seeing several favorable reviews on Unilocal. We live pretty close to here, so we headed over with the expectation of a decent breakfast. Other comments highlighted the great service and excellent food, so expectations were relatively high. We were greeted at the door and seated quickly, so that was good. The waitress was initially very nice, and took our order quickly. We also had our coffee in a hurry, so that was good news. From that point, things took a bad turn. We got our food after a normal-length wait, and things were looking a little grim. The homefries were under-cooked on both of our plates. The outside looked ok, but the inside was basically raw potato. The outside also had virtually no seasoning. My wife’s hash, highlighted by another reviewer on here, was from a can. That hash was fresh like my name is Balthazar the Fifth; the tell-tale diced mini potatoes were all the exact same size, and it was loaded with grease. The server described my pork pie(a special I ordered off the board) as delicious, sort of «greek style» with flaky crust. I can say with absolute certainty that several greeks must have perished making this thing, because in no way shape or form did this thing have flaky pastry. What arrived instead was a very thick shell that looked like it had walked on the sun. The filler for the pie actually fell out of the thing while I was eating it, so the shell literally separated from the insides… it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell you that this special was definitely not fresh. The pork filling was actually not too bad, except that the inside was luke warm, so it wasn’t even heated all the way through despite its torched appearance. My eggs and toast were both ok, so there was that. My wife’s sunny side up eggs were pretty grim. The speed of service was good, but they forgot two things from our original order. My OJ showed up about 2⁄3 of the way through the meal once I reminded them, and our pancake never made it to the order or the check. I can’t remember the last time I went to a diner and had something just not appear when ordered. Our waitress also asked how things were and as I started to reply, she actually walked off and started taking the order from the table next to us, LOL. On a décor level, this place is falling apart. The wallpaper is coming off the walls, and the display fridge(filled with delicious pies in so many other diners) is unplugged and holding instant cereal in cups. I MIGHT be willing to give this place another shot based on Unilocal reviews from other people, but on its own merit, this was a really bad first visit. I would strongly suggest checking out other options in the area. The fact that someone complimented their instant hash as delicious is kind of crazy.

We decided to check this place out on a Unilocal whim on our way to Nashua, NH. After a night of fun in Boston, we needed food. The breakfast was fantastic. I loved the very healthy portions of bacon :) I also had a grilled cheese(yum!) and home fries, which were both very good. My husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich. The service was exceptional. When it comes to their service, I think Country View Diner is now among my top three favorites restaurants in all of my life. I’m ashamed to admit that me & the husband were in rare form that morning. We got lost trying to find the place, and then found it down the road. We thought we were running late, so we ordered to go. They were very serious when we asked to get it quick — and they got right on the order. Then I found that we were only 10 minutes away from where we needed to be in Nashua(and had ½ hour) and even on the same road we needed to be on, so we decided to get a table. Then we changed our minds again and decided to sit at the counter. We had the poor waitress and lady behind the counter so confused! Nevertheless, they didn’t miss a beat. The food was out in less than 10 minutes, we ate fast, and we got to our appointment exactly on time. The restaurant staff was fantastic. I feel bad for putting them through all that(if anyone from the restaurant reads this review — sorry for doing that!!!). I think I would have lost my patience, had I been in their shoes. I really appreciate it! We live in CT, but if we head up to that area again anytime soon, I think we’d seek the place out again. — Important Tip — If you have never been there, Google maps(linked from Unilocal and viewed on my iPhone) do not show the place in the correct location. We were mapped to the wrong side of the road, maybe 2 miles up the road. I think it has to do with the way the town is spelled. The diner is next to «Tyngsboro Town Hall», not Tyngsborough, but you get mapped to Tyngsborough.

Had a good breakfast here after a corn maze morning. We split biscuits and gravy w/two large sausage patties, home fries and 3 eggs for $ 7.99. Also a short stack of decent pancakes that were as big as your head. The kids with us enjoyed bacon and a side of home fries. A lot of choices for breakfast and lunch, reasonable prices, not the friendliest diner gals but okay, worth checking out.

I have a new favorite diner, and I found it by accident. I have been wanting to check out two diners up in Tyngsboro/westford: comet’s diner and dream diner. Today was to be the day for one of them, but comet’s was closed for vacation and dream had a 30 minute wait. Hungry and dejected, I started the drive back home, lamenting the fact that i’d probably be relegated to Dunkins when what to my wondering eyes did appear but the country view diner just a mile away from the dream, and nearly in the shadow of the comet. Not expecting much, as it doesn’t look like much from the outside, I still decided to give it a shot. Boy, am I glad I did. Smallish on the inside, they make great use of the available space, with a counter along with two small dining rooms. There were two floor waitresses, and someone working the counter. I sat at a small table, and was immediately greeted with coffee. The large juice I ordered came seconds later. I ordered my standard fare for judging the quality of a restaurant: hash and eggs, over medium, with home fries and rye toast. Each item was just about perfect. The potatoes were fried very crispy, and still seasoned perfectly. None of those half-raw, hald-mushy over-paprikaed potatoes you find at many greek diners. These were the real, delicious deal. The hash was also crispy, with a good flavor, and lots of browned crust. I don’t know if they bake their own bread, but wherever it came from, the rye toast was«when harry met sally I’ll have what she’s having» kind of good. they did break one yolk on my eggs, and covered it with the toast, so that was a tiny disappointment, but the other egg was just right. Service was friendly — ok, friendly and cute — and fast.

The Country View Diner is a popular breakfast and lunch restaurant located just south of the Tyngsboro Bridge. This is also the meeting place for the Rotary Club. The menu offerings include the standard breakfast fare and for lunch is served 11AM-2PM, sandwiches, wraps. burgers, hot dogs, salads, soups, fish & chiips, chicken fingers, and quiche, The prices here are pretty reasonable. The Belly Buster Special is really popular here and includes 3 eggs with choice of meat, homefries, toast and choice of 2 pancakes or 2 French toast. The omelets are made with 4 eggs and served with homefries and toast. Egg Beaters and egg whites offered for additional charge. The place has a cozy country restaurant atmosphere with low ceilings and three dining areas. The front portion seems a bit cramped with a lunch counter and several regular tables. There’s also a side dining room and a back dining room. I stopped here for Saturday breakfast before heading off to the malls north of the border. The place was very busy with all of the seats at the lunch counter occupied and most of the bigger tables were filled. I sat myself at a small table and it took about 3 minutes to be waited on and offered coffee since there were only 2 servers waiting on the entire busy restaurant. The fresh brewed coffee served here is New England Coffee($ 1.50) which was pretty good. I ordered one of the many specials which was Pork Pie($ 6.95) with 2 eggs(I chose scrambled), home fries, and toast(I chose raisin). I could see the kitchen was really cranking out the food and the portions of food being served look generous(the management does not portion the food and believes breakfast is the most important meal of the day). I received my breakfast in a timely manner(10 minutes). The pork pie was really good which had a mixture of ground pork, potato & seasonings in a tasty crust smothered with sausage cream gravy(lots of ground sausage), which was excellent and not too rich. The eggs were soft in texture. The home fries were lightly browned and crisp on the outside. The buttered raisin toast was on the small side, but I was full from the pork pie and home fries. I was very happy with the breakfast. The service was good and the staff did not converse much to the customers since they were flat out busy, and speaking loudly orders to the kitchen and bringing out the food. My large coffee mug was never empty with top-offs offered as needed. I had enough coffee(about 2.5 big cups). Now I see why this place was so busy on a Saturday morning, good solid food and service. For my Unilocal record: This is the second Country View Diner I’ve Unilocaled. The other Country View Diner is located in Brunswick, NY, outside of Troy, NY(no connection).
