Windsoul Studio

I was so sad to leave my beloved classes in Boston, and was struggling to find a new studio close to home. I’ve been going here since February and am obsessed. Each instructor is different, but all of them are wonderful. If you can be picky about your instructors (like I am), here’s what I’ve picked up about some of the different teachers.
– Gail, who owns the studio, has the most amazing and calming voice and spirit. Her background in anatomy shines because the classes are all targeted towards specific areas, and she always offers helpful suggestions and modifications. I would recommend anyone to her class, newbie or veteran.
– Chuck is definitely for the person who doesn’t want to take things too seriously or worries that yoga might be too pretentious. His Recharge class on Monday night is so much fun, it always has me grinning and coming out of my shell. I’ve also really enjoyed his gentler classes, as well. He adds the essential oil (and chocolate!) to really round out the experience. I’ve never been to Broga, but I’m sure Chuck makes it fun.
– Cornelia kicks butt. Literally… She makes down dog a relaxing pose. That said, I love her classes because there’s always something new to try. She’s so helpful with assists and modifications. I love starting my Saturdays with her class.
In addition to the variety of classes, there are always interesting special events and workshops here. Not to mention the affordability of membership! This place is such a gem. Thanks, Gail and Steve!

Started going to classes last October with my wife. I was hesitant to try yoga, wow was I wrong. I have not felt this good in many years. Blood pressures down, clothes fit better, Etc .
Windsoul has a great variety of classes .
Two of our favorites are both taught by Chuck Raffoni. Recharge on Mondays and Broga on Thursdays and alternating Saturdays. Gail the owner and her whole staff are awesome ! They never fail to make everyone feel welcome. From the newest beginers to the seasoned Yogis all can be very comfortable here. The membership prices are a downright bargain on top of it all.

I am coming up on a year of my sister’s passing. She was an Army Veteran and had just turned 31. She had her whole life ahead of her and was my best friend. When she passed unexpectedly my whole world flipped upside down. My heart has been broken and certainly will never be the same .
I cannot explain the amount of support and healing I have received from this establishment. On the day my sister’s headstone came, I plugged my GPS in to head towards the local TJ MAXX for some retail therapy. Instead the GPS brought me to Windsoul. I thought this was pretty cool considering I had spent the night before googling yoga studios to check out. I was sleepless in knowing the next day I was going to see my sister’s headstone with the last name ORTIZ on it … yet for some reason I did not see Windsoul during my google search of local studios… yet there I was :). Gail greeted me with warmth and a genuine purpose to help me with what I needed. She assured me that I was in the right place .
That Monday I started my first class with StaceyLynn whom I adore. She has a very upbeat personality and contagious energy. I started to join more classes and learn more about each instructor’s style as well as personality, both of which reflect their practice. Gail is organized and intelligent. StaceyLynn is as well, but offers a certain level of spunk. I love Tuesday classes with Julie as well. The team members each offer something special .
During this last year I became a certified yoga teacher to strengthen my own practice and utilize as a healing technique for when I work with veterans as a nurse someday (I am currently in school for nursing). I was inspired, aided and welcomed by this warm and loving family. I would not have started my yoga journey without the hospitality and inspiration from these women .
During the summer time, Windsoul donated all proceeds from their community classes to Veterans Advocacy Services, a non-​profit dedicated to provide veterans with assistance according to their specific needs .
I recommend Windsoul. It is not just a yoga studio. It is a center for healing and inspiration.

I love this place and I’ve been going for a year now. I try to go every day if I can. All the staff is very friendly and they always have nice events to try. The studio is nice and spacious and I am happy to see the business doing very well. Every time I come the class size increases so they must be doing something right.
