Best Japanese hibachi and sushi in the area. Our chef was the best and overall service was excellent. I would recommend Nikkos for a small or large group. They have great prices and service.

I meant to review this place last week but completely forgot! I’ve been here a few times with friends and have always enjoyed it! The food is great along with the atmosphere! The hibachi chefs are always entertaining! This place is really a hidden gem in Tyrone, but glad it’s there!

I’ve been here 4 times now and it’s definitely my «go to» place for sashimi/sushi. The fish is fresh and servers are attentive. I usually get the«chef special A» off of the sushi menu which is plenty of food for 2.

Chef T made this experience great! I’ve been here several times and have eaten hibachi numerous times… this was by far the best experience hands down! The white nija as he put it was great. You can tell he enjoys his craft and values the art of good food. He makes the drive worth it!!!

I don’t know why this place is always empty. I always leave completely fulfilled. The food is delicious and the service is fast! Very fast! You can easily get in and out under a half hour. I think the prices meet my expectations for hibachi. The sushi is the bomb, get the spicy orange salmon roll if you’re adventurous, and don’t forget the filet. Spend the extra money and get the filet! You won’t regret it. I’m giving it 4 stars is because it’s so empty I feel uncomfortable and the bathrooms weren’t very clean when I went, which makes me nervous about kitchen cleanliness. But I will be back. I crave that sweet buttery filet and sushi goodness. It calls to me.

It was excellent and not far off interstate. Well worth the short drive and food was outstanding! It was by far the best Japanese steakhouse we have eaten! Ask for Jacob! He rocked! Parking was great. Service was great. Entertainment was great. Portion was large. Food was outstanding!

I live in Tyrone so I am not objective. But I always hear other Ls from neighboring cities talk about this place. I’ve eaten here 10 times and I am never disappointed. The service is great and the hibachi option is the best; you can’t go wrong with any choice. And, I suggest letting it slip if someone has a birthday.

I love this restaurant. The food is excellent and the quality had not diminished over the years. The staff is wonderful and pleasant. They make you feel like your family. I will always patronize them as much as I can.

Love their sushi as well as their hibachi grill! The New Orleans roll is my absolute favorite. It’s in peach tree city so of course it’s going to be on the higher end. But overall I love the quality of the food.

I’ve honestly never written a review on Unilocal before. But I am going out of my way to write a review on this place. I normally love hibachi, but this was my worst experience ever. Service was extremely slow. The waiter took almost 30 minutes just to get our drink order in and served to us. He took our entrée order, and didn’t see him again after that. After getting our soup, we had to ask someone else to bring out our salad 20 minutes after. So the time it took us to be seated, get our drinks, soup, and salad was well over an hour. We went through 3 different waiters during our service. Food was just average. At least our original waiter came back to give us our bill :) would give it zero stars if I could.

Went here to try another Japanese steakhouse in town. Food was mediocre. Service slightly slow despite restaurant being empty. Nearby steakhouses in Peachtree city and Fayetteville win hands down for quality of food and freshness of sushi.

Great food!!! Chef was very likable. Food and ambience better than benihana’s! Really enjoyed everything, would have given five stars of it wasn’t for the waitress which was slow and almost absent the visit! But definitely coming back!!!

Everyone in our party loved the food. I am not a sushi fan so got the Teriyaki & was awesome. A lot of food. You could share if you don’t have a big appetite. Friendly & timely.

A favorite — The best place to get hibachi and sushi south of Atlanta! Hibachi is great. Not oily like a lot of restaurants and made with a lot of care and skill. Ask for either Marcus or Ruben, they really know what they’re doing and will cook your food just the way you want it with a bit of entertainment on the side. The sushi here is EXCELLENT. The sushi chef is extremely talented and also puts lot of care, skill, and time into creating amazing and satisfying sushi rolls. You can’t go wrong at the sushi bar. Everything is fresh and delicious and made to order. The staff is friendly and courteous. They will go out of their way to accommodate you. There is a large bar and it is pretty well-stocked. The restaurant is pretty big, but the atmosphere is warm and friendly everytime I’ve been here. I would recommend Nikko to anyone! Eating at the hibachi table or in the dining room are both enjoyable experiences.

I came here from out of town for a work meeting with coworkers after a long day at work. If I was just rating this place on it’s house Sake then I would give it 5 stars. A large house sake is $ 7.50 and it was very good. I kept my jug heated up on the stove in front of us. Yum! As for the rest of the restaurant, there is really a lot of room for improvement. Service. Is. Slow. We were a group of eight. Five of us got there before our group as a whole did, so they sat us but no one came to get our drink order for at least 15 minutes. Then we didn’t receive our drinks for another 10 minutes(then we had to wait longer for water). Once our group got there we waited another 20 minutes to have the cook come over and take our order and start cooking. I don’t like waiting for over an hour to have my food start cooking. I especially didn’t like waiting 30 minutes for my drinks. They did include the gratuity on the bill so maybe they thought they could slack because they get their tip’s included. I guess I’m an idealist, I’d be shooting for more than the base tip. Once our cook got there it was nice. He was funny and really fun to watch. The food was so so. He did cook the filet perfectly, though! Thanks Ruben! All in all, if service was faster it’d be a good place to go. I would definitely come back here just for the Sake!

I am not fan of Japanese food. However, this restaurant has convinced me by the quality of the meal, cooker’s know-how and ambience. Everything is fresh and tasty. You will enjoy.

This is my favorite Hibachi restaurant to visit. I was never really a fan of hibachi before, but I came here with friends and I loved it! I have visited a few more times since then. I have tried their edamame and it’s enough to share for a group of friends. Be careful and wait a bit before you chow down on them. It comes out hot so don’t burn your tongue. I have tried their hibachi steak, salmon, chicken, and shrimp which were all cooked to my preferences. All of my hibachi dinners were served with hot miso soup and salad. Also, each hibachi dinner comes with a side of vegetables of cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms. I always order fried rice with my dinners. I love the seafood sauce, the orange sauce, on my fried rice. The portion sizes are large also and I always have left overs when I visit. Even with kid sizes, I have leftovers. You get a lot for what you pay for. I’ve also have tried two of their fried sushi rolls. It was really good and crunchy without it being too oily or soggy. There wasn’t too much rice or too little. It was just right. I’ve tried a virgin strawberry daiquiri and it was so good. The bartender is really nice and funny. I hear that their fried ice cream is pretty good. It’s made with Sara Lee pound cake. I am going to try that the next time I visit. The staff is so friendly here. They treat you as a valued guest and remembers details and conversations that you’ve had with them and what you’re preferences are with your food. Décor is nice and hip. The restaurant space is large. The hibachi side takes on half of the restaurant space. There is only one television in the whole restaurant and it is on top of the bar area. Overall, I love this place and get cravings to visit, so I will definitely visit again in the near future.
