I had just left Kaiser’s Optical Sales store at the Union City office after being shocked at $ 460 price tag for a pair of glasses. I was planning to order something online but I happened to spot Lenses & Frames Optical as I was leaving the Kaiser parking lot.
Frames and Lenses was great! Myra was very friendly and showed me to a wall of $ 58 frames. The selection of the low cost frames was quite large, though they do have other options available. The total in-​store display was not as large as that over at Kaiser, but they do have a catalog available and they carry a wide variety of brands. If you see a set of frames on the internet, bring them the model number and they can probably order it for you, at the internet price.
In any case, I was able to find a pair of frames in store that suited me fine. I opted for a more expensive frame which has a flexible metal. Also driving up my cost were some transition lenses with anti-​glare coating. Despite not being in the VSP network, they were able to bill VSP directly for me saving me out of pocket cost and having to submit for a reimbursement. For a pair of glasses that would have cost me $ 460 at Kaiser, I was able to pay less than $ 90 at Lenses & Frames.
When I’m ready to order my sunglasses, I’ll definitely be going back to Lenses and Frames Optical. Thanks!

After searching Unilocal or a place where they replace sunglasses lenses and getting the run around I found this gem, which is conveniently located to my work. I had two pairs of my Dior Homme that had seen better days. I brought them in and quickly was greeted by Myra. I told her the situation on how bad they were and she said she could def help me with my problem. Total for replacing both pairs was roughly $ 130.00. This is nothing when you take into consideration that each pair of sunglasses cost $ 300+. Took about a week to get them back and they look brand new. promp service and friendly owners. I wish I found them sooner!

I needed to get my special order prescription lens replaced. I tried Costco, Sears, and Len Crafters, but they all tried to up-​sale me into buying frames as well. I was very disappointed. My existing designer frames were fine and I only needed the lens replaced.
I finally decided to visit this local small business. Myra, who works there, was so helpful and she never tried to pressure me into buying new frames. They do stock a nice selection frames. They can order name brand frames of your liking at a competitive price. I ordered the lenses and they arrived in only two days. I am glad I came here. Everything turned out great! Next time our family needs eye glasses, this is where we will go!

Looking for an eyeglass repair shop, I found them through Unilocal and gave them a shot since they were local and had good reviews. Very quick and very friendly service and my glasses are like brand new. I saw that they had a great selection of Oakley Prescription Glasses as well as other brands and styles. They also accept insurance from my provider so I’ll definitely give them a look over when I’m due for new glasses.

i came back again 2 years later to get another pair of oakley frames and some lightweight lenses. same great service!

This place is great. A coworker recommended this place to me. I had been looking for some oakley rx glasses. They had the exact model i was looking for at a much cheaper price. I had my rx done at lenscrafters since they dont do rx there. no biggie.

I just bought a pair of Ray Ban 2132 Wayfarers from this place today. Although I’ve already done my research and everything on the glasses and the store, I was very satisfied with everything. I walked into the store knowing what I wanted to buy so I didn’t spend anything more than 10 minutes inside. I originally wanted to buy the white wayfarers, but the lady called the company and told me those were discontinued. Therefore, I opted for the black matte that they had available. The lady was very friendly and kind :) That pretty much summed up my experience here (aside from the additional small talk that is summoned by awkward silences haha); it was quick and good. I will definitely be coming back here for future sunglass/​eyeglass purchases.

Great customer service and friendly, I contact them through e-​mail and sent a copied of my current prescription. When everything was all done, they asked me if I wanted the ⁴⁷⁄₂₂ or the ⁵⁰⁄₂₂ sizes in the Ray-​Ban model 5121. I had to wait because they had to special order the ⁵⁰⁄₂₂ size. It took a week or a few days I believe for the frames to arrive but when it was shipped out it to my uncle it only took a day. I also had a problem and forgot to get AR coating on my lenses. I e-​mailed them and they were kind of enough to take my glasses back and add onto my lenses. you can find high end brands names for a decent price. I am very satisfy and happy with my eyeglasses and would do business with them again. I would recommend lenses & frames optical to my friends and family.
