Lovely Nails

I was hesitant to have a pedicure done here because the shop looks so gross, dirty and run down, but I was waiting to get my hair done at BB Salon next door so I went ahead and got my toes done while waiting.
Got a french tip pedicure (on my natural toenails) and it turned out to be quite pretty. I didn’t want to sit on any of their chairs because everything seriously looks so unclean, but I figured, what the hell, as long as I don’t die. They soaked my feet and gave me a lower leg massage (from below the knee down to my feet), then proceeded with the pedicure.
While the salon is questionable, my pedicure lasted a long time! I had it done around Mother’s Day, then two weeks passed, I went to Hawaii and did all sorts of activities from kayaking, hiking and nonstop soaking in water — and my pedicure lasted through it all! Best of all, I’ve been back for weeks now and while my toenails have certainly grown, the pedicure is still in tact! I’m pretty impressed. I only wish they would clean the shop so it doesn’t give customers the impression that they’re about to get an infection.

No. Not for Me. They are rude and very unprofessional. I will not go there again.

Run down and unclean. Only had 2 manicurist on a Saturday afternoon. I was told the wait would be 15 mins, but I highly doubt that as the manicurist just started a pedicure with her client. They don’t have too many colours to choose from. THe place was dark and looked unclean.

I’m very surprised that this place is not listed on Unilocal!
After many disappointed eyebrow waxing experiences I was determined to find a new place that wouldn’t F*** up my eyebrows. Seriously, don’t get me started with all these other places that I’ve been to…
I was determined and because I was in the area… the plaza where tapioca express is… I decided to give it a try. I walked in and they greeted me right away. Co Dao was the one who did my eyebrows and I liked it… but after many times going there I like Kim AKA Co Hue best. She’s very skillful in waxing. I love her, I am always pleased with the outcome. There is this other lady though who does a careless job but I don’t know her name and I haven’t seen her lately but I think she’s just on vacation or something. I really recommend Kim for eyebrow waxing and not only that for manicures!
So I’ve always been here for eyebrow waxing and nothing else, but today was an exception. After my BF treated me to a facial he also decided to treat me to a manicure and where else would I go but to Lovely Nails? I mean… I already know Kim so I was hoping I would get her but when I got there she was busy so another lady helped me. She’s new and she started my french tip. she was alright but then Kim took over and designed my nails. It’s soo beautiful! I love it! She’s so skillful in designing and it’s not just airbrushing it on or whatever… she actually drew it on herself. She’s really good.
The workers here can be a little chatty though, like one of them would be on the telephone while working on a customer. that I don’t like but it didn’t happen to me. so I’m fine with it.
Every time I do my eyebrow waxing and upper lip it’s $ 13 plus $ 2 tip. Today’s manicure was $ 13 for french tip and $ 13 for the design, plus $ 4 tip.
