I used to come here because it’s one of the few places that’s open on Sundays (the rest of my week is crazy busy). The last time I got a hair cut, I had several pictures for reference, and explained in painstaking detail exactly how I wanted my hair, but she still EFFED it up!!! I must’ve gotten a new girl, coz I always got the same haircut and no matter which girl I had an appointment with, they used to get it just right. This new girl cut it WAY shorter than I wanted coz she just kept snipping off more and more trying to «fix» it. I was almost in tears by the time she was done and they asked if I wanted to come back another day (I guess they had other appointments to get to) so she can fix it – why in the world would I want the same girl to «fix» it?!? So she can eff it up some more?!? Yeah, hair grows back, but in the meantime I had to relive this trauma everytime someone gave me a fake smile and said,“WOW, your hair is… um, different.”

For haircuts this place is great. For hair dying and permanents not so great… but the staff is very welcoming and friendly and the salon is always very clean.

This place doesn’t even deserve a star!
I went here last year after it was recommended to me by someone who lives in the area. I really wanted to get my hair dyed for New Year’s and I was able to make the appt. for New Year’s Eve in the morning. That should’ve been a red flag! I got there at the time of my appt. and they were late opening because of snow. The stylist who was assigned to me was old enough to be my mother. Again, another red flag! I believe that her name was Georgia? I came in wanting my hair to be a chestnut brown/​auburn color. The stylist suggested that I get what she called l“ow-lights” so I wouldn’t have to come back every couple of weeks to get my roots touched up. I took her «professional» advice. I came out with strange colored highlights instead. They were all different shades of yellow (yes, yellow!) and she left the bleach in too long so some of them were almost white!!! Not to mention that the bleach damaged my hair so bad that I had to condition it every few days to try to get it back in the shape that it was. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. I received a phone call about a month later for a follow-​up. I ignored the call. BE WARY if you go to this place!
