History

Established in 1984.

Shep’s Imports is me: John Shepard. I’ve been working as a professional mechanic since 1974. When I opened Shep’s 30 years ago I decided to keep it small and personal so that I could always keep turning the wrenches and not become an administrator managing a flock of mechanics in a «Big Box» garage. As a result, I’m the only person you’ll speak with at Shep’s Imports and this ensures direct, clear communication about what your car needs and how we’ll proceed together throughout the repair process.

I am an ASE certified master mechanic, and a founding member of the SAE Service Technician’s Society. I have factory training from Toyota, Volvo, Jaguar, MG, Peugeot and Renault (remember them?)
