The Bend on Hood Canal

We had a reunion with 5 families from out of state at this property in August. Everyone’s first reaction when they walked in was «WOW!» The panoramic water view was amazing. The house was set up for big groups and very well decorated. Our group of 22 included kids from 6 to 16. The younger kids loved the bunk bed room (slept 6). The older kids hung out in the media room (Wii, movies). The kitchen was very well stocked. The huge deck provided couple hours of very fun stargazing for the «city people» who never get to see so many stars in the sky. We all laid on the deck and saw shooting stars, planets, satellites… you name it. We also had a fantastic day at Lake Cushman — spent the day on kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and good o’ beach time. The owner, Bonnie, was fantastic to work with. Highly recommend this property!

You couldn’t ask for a better place to get away from the business of city life and just relax in a most beautiful setting. The house is gorgeous and the view is amazing, especially from the hot tub room. It has everything you could possibly need. The property owner is one of the most sincere, nicest and reliable person you could ever meet.
Its a great house perfect for wedding, family reunions, getaways, you name it. I’ve been coming for years and plan on returning as many times as I can. I highly recommend this place, you won’t regret it!

This Mansion is incredible. They didn’t skimp on anything. Granite Floors, Huge kitchen with island, 2 fridges, wet bar, restaurant style bar w/​Keg hookup, Hot Tub, pool table, fooseball table, Wii and Xbox, and really everything you would need. It has a beautiful view of the Hood Canal too.
A group of friends of mine have come here the last couple super bowl weekends and it’s so fun it’s turned into a bit of a tradition. Looking forward to heading there for this upcoming Super bowl (Go Eli).

I have rented many properties in the past and never before have i had such a great experience. The process of renting the property could not have been easier. The property owner came by to make sure we had everything. She dropped off paper towels, and let us use a microphone/​speaker. She was always readily available to make sure that our experience was perfect.
We can’t wait to go back!

I just said «I do» to my beautiful wife in one of the most beautiful and well hidden gems in Washington. My wife and I were looking for a place to get married where my family from New York could really get to know her family from the Northwest. We wanted an intimate wedding where we can all be together without be too cramped. We found it!
The Bend on Hood Canal is a seven bedroom home overlooking Hood Canal that can be rented for weddings and other weekend retreats. It sleeps at least twenty people since one bedroom has two bunk beds and a queen and another bedroom has two queen beds. The Bend has breathtaking views, a hot tub with 180 degree views, pool table, fussball, a game room with movies and a Wii, huge kitchen with separate wet bar, and an enormous deck with fire pit.
We had the wedding catered by the Robin Hood. A great restaurant down the road near the Alderbrook Resort and Spa. We had New York Strip Steak and Salmon! It was delicious.
It was an absolutely beautiful wedding on a perfect day. If you are looking for a wedding location, office retreat, or family reunion space, The Bend on Hood Canal would be perfect.
