Big John! What can I say… Thank you. One of the nicest guys I have ever met! He hooked me up and took care of my white bmw! It fails a couple of times but he never gave up on me and said not to worry you are in good hands. I was referred to advance by a Machanic that worked on my car the week before. John was super honest and really cares about the customer. His prices are amazing even when you fail he really gives a discount if you come back. Well he did for me. Haha but he has earned my business and all of my friends and family business. Great guy great shop what else are you looking for? Thanks again big John!

I was in the area and needed to do a smog check. I was told from a nearby business that they charged 45.00 to do a smog check. So I thought ok that sounds reasonable. I went over and an old guy with a Russian accent asked if it was my first time there. So I told him yes. So I go on to ask him how much a smog check was. He shows me a receipt that said 65. That is crazy expensive for a smog check. So I infor. Him that I was told it would be 45. Will it’s 45 plus and additional 20 for the certificate. So I told him I be right back I needed to check something. I called a different place and it was 35 for the smog check and certificate. So as I am getting into my car, he comes our of the building and asks me if I was going to do it. I told him no because it was to expensive. He gets mad and tells me this is the best price and that he was giving me a discount. I still tells him no. So he’s mad and with that Russian accent it sounds like he’s yelling. Finally he walks away and than turns back around and says he’ll do it for 50. I still don’t take it and he finally walks away angry. Poor customer service and rude. I’m glad I didn’t do it here. The other place was cheaper and quick.

I’ve brought my cars here for the past four years and haven’t had any issues with them, until now. I took my recently purchased cargo van for a title change smog check. After waiting for my turn and then waiting 25 minutes for the test to be completed, the owner comes out and tells me that the van passed everything except a visual test of the air intake.
I got upset because the first thing these mechanics do is check what’s under the hood. I’ve been to difference Smog Centers and even if they see a leak or a Check Engine light they won’t even bother to test the car because it won’t pass!
That’s why I was so upset, they clearly saw a part they didn’t recognize on the vehicle, and instead of doing the right thing they just moved forward with the test to be able to charge money. Aside from the $ 46, they charged an additional $ 25 fee for removing the engine cover.
I’m really disappointed at their service and their attitude toward a loyal customer. Won’t ever be coming back here again.

John did a great job on my truck. Fast, kind, efficient and honored the Unilocal deal gladly. He’s STAR Certified and got all the stuff sent digitally to DMV so that I could register my truck immediately online. Total cost with Smog Certificate, after Unilocal discount (-$ 10), was $ 48. In and out with everything in roughly 20 minutes.
Highly recommend him!

Ive always dealt with john and he is real easy going. All my trucks and work vans are old enough to need smogs so it seems like im always in here. They’ve always given me a pre-​test to make sure they’ll pass and i am usually in n out in about 15 mins. Great service always eases the pain of having to smog your vehicles.

There are very few places I trust with my 98 4Runner… This is one of the few. I drive out here from West Covina every time my car or my family members cars need to be smogged. John is fast, knowledgeable, and honest. Don’t waste your time or money elsewhere. If you want quality service, this is the place to go to.

This place was awesome! The guy really helped me out, he was concerned about my car not passing since I had just had some repair work on it he told me to hold off one more day just to insure I pass by driving a few more miles then bring it back to him… The next day I took it back and he was very happy to see me greeted me with a smile and promised to have my car done within 15min or less!
He sure did and on top of that he did a pre test just to make sure it would pass before I paid and didn’t pass! Everything went smoothly! Awesome service

I had my Toyota Tacoma truck smog checked here this morning. I got to say the gentleman Who helped me was awesome, informative and friendly. He did the test himself. I would highly recommend this business for anyone who needs a smog check. He will deathly have my business in the future.

I’ve been coming here for years for smog checks. I never have a problem and I never have to wait long. I didn’t get the guys name but he was very polite and explained how the processed worked. I was in and out of here in 15 – 20 tops. I would definitely return should I need another smog check.

Haven’t had to have a smog done in a long time so was a bit nervous. John, the guy who helped me was super nice. The whole thing only took like 15 min max. While I was there another customer came in and John was quick to greet them. I think they were regulars as John seemed to remember who they were. I like places that remember repeat customers even tho they probably only come in a few times a year. At the Big John gave me a breakdown of everything really quick which was nice cause I had no idea what I was looking at.

I had my smog test done here for the 2^nd time. Both times I was in and out in less than 25 minutes. Guy was polite and personable. We talked for about 10 minutes afterwards. I paid $ 50 which is not bad. I thought I was going to pay more. Overall, I will keep coming here for my smog tests every time and I recommend it to family and friends. They had a tv in lobby and magazines you can read in the meantime.

When in and no waiting. Met with a friendly gentleman who took immediate care of my car. Purchased the Unilocal deal as well and only paid $ 45 for my suv!
I will go back the next time I need a car smogged.

Got smog check here today. It took about 25 mins to get it done. I was able to use the deal on Unilocal,yay! People are very nice and friendly. Highly recommend it

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Took my car there and had no idea that it wouldn’t pass with the check engine light on. At no point did the tech make mention of it until after he tested it! I called to complain and the response I got was some people take the car there knowing it would fail. Ok fine, so how the hell did you know I wanted my car to fail! Horrible work ethic. Now they want me to give them more $ to retest.
