Body Rituals Studio

I’ve been going to Body Rituals for about a year now, and I have nothing but good things to say about this studio! I’ve tried almost all of the classes here, and love them all. My personal favorites are Power Yoga and Barre Pilates.
Something that I really value about this studio is the small class sizes and the attention to detail by the instructors. I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to working out, so I really appreciate this! It allows me to properly target the muscle groups that we’re working on, and more importantly avoid any potential injuries.
I’d highly recommend this studio to anyone, from the most experienced athlete to the couch potato whose just trying to live a healthier life. This place will kick your butt and challenge you physically and mentally, in a good way!

LOVE LOVE this place the staff is amazing the classes are so empowering!!! This is not just a work out studio but it taps into your soul! I never thought I could join Yoga/​pilates or even spinning but with great Guides at this studio the impossible was Possible. THANK U BR!!!

These guys are terrible. Horrible. So why 4 stars? Because I was kidding.
Ive avoided writing a review because ive wanted to keep this place a secret, but ill be moving to asia soon, and theyve been so friendly and helpful, i just couldnt hold out anymore.
I love body rituals. I come here strictly for yoga. Erika (Rikki?) is excellent, and an amazing instructor, very patient and she definitely has a «yoga voice“z Haha. Racquel is intense. If you want an intense workout, go with her. I always try to avoid her classes, but thats bc for me, yoga is more about stress relief, flexibility, meditation, than it is about building strength and sweating half my body weight off. Gonzalo is the friendly face youll see when you enter and leave.
So why minus a star? There never seems to be yoga at hours that work for me, or enough classes. But i get it, its not a dedicated yoga studio.
Also, everything seems to have become more flexible, except for my hamstrings. Yeah. I blame them. So don’t come here. Its terrible. Its horrible. Run away. Especially from Racquel.

I love it here! I do my own workouts on a regular basis… but started getting seriously bored. I was a dancer growing up so when I saw Barre Pilates I thought that would be pretty fun. I’ve taken Pilates, Zumba, and yoga and have enjoyed them all. Raquel, Rikki, Pat and Darla have all been great teachers… I enjoy each one of them! …Raquel will seriously kick your butt in Power Barre!

I just had my first yoga class at Body Rituals! I LOVED IT! The instructor, Erika, is amazing and accommodating to every yoga student! I am looking forward to my next class at Body Rituals! Highly Recommended!

I don’t know where to start. I took the hot yoga class and the environment was really bizarre. I’ve never been in a yoga studio that used black lights, red rope lighting, colored accent lights and incredibly loud music before. It was like being stuck in a weird late 80’s bar with no ventilation or windows. There was a window, but it was covered up. All it needed was a liquor bar and it would be pretty much like a janky dive bar, but with Deepok Chopra blaring in your ears about the power of love. I’m not kidding about the Deepok Chopra part, it was part of the routine. I am still confused about the lighting… black lights in a yoga studio? B U T W H Y?
The two stars are for the instructor. She seemed very caring and passionate about her practice. She gave each student special attention and gave the right amount of adjustments. It’s really too bad she had to yell over the yoga techno guitar smooth jazz music. There was one thing that the instructor did that I thought wasn’t good. At the end of class, when students were on their stomachs resting, she would go to each one and crack their backs, by applying pressure between the shoulder blades. Is she a certified osteopath or chiropractor? If she isn’t, she definitely should not be doing this. It’s just not safe.
Also, the bathroom was very clean, that is included in the two stars.
So if you want an obnoxious soundtrack to your club lighting yoga, choose the hot yoga class at this studio.

Good for a short time. Schedule not good for a working girl :(

Small classes, great prices, a great variety. Body Rituals is the best! They know your name and make sure you’re taken care of. This place is great for not only your physical health but also your spiritual and mental health.

I have been to many studios over the years and have been doing yoga since I was a teenager so I have become choosy with who I like. Body Rituals is by far the best studio I have ever been to. They have a great variety of classes so that anyone can find something that fits their physical needs. all the teachers are very well trained and inspiring. Raquel, the owner, is an awesome teacher, she is: motivating, knowledgeable and challenging. She convinced me that pilates is one of the greatest all around workouts! If she thinks you can do more she will push you to it. Plus she is a really great person inside and out. This will soon become a closed studio which is its own testimony so join ASAP!

Great experience at Body Rituals. Easy sign up and they have a lot of classes you can choose from. I mainly do the Hot Yoga and Raquel is amazing. She teaches an advanced class but keeps it easy enough for us beginners to keep up. Keep up the good work!

The thing I love about Body Rituals is how friendly and supportive the studio atmosphere is! Healthy habits or new exercise routines can be tough to start but the community here is so positive! The instructors are always helpful and encouraging, even at 6:30am in the morning. Especially love Saturday morning barre and yoga classes, what a great way to start the weekend!
Also, I am a fan of planning ahead and I really appreciate how easy it is to sign up for classes online via their website.

Love this place! I just started doing Hot yoga and I’m lovin it. They make it that, no matter what level you are, you feel like you can do it. check out Raquel or Erika’s classes… they are both amazing. =)

I used to be a studio hopper and thought I had found a home studio until I met the owner and staff of Body Rituals. Now I’m there more than I’m at Starbucks! I love that the classes challenge me to push myself, I get an amazing sweaty workout and I honestly feel that in just the last 6 months of my practice (totaling almost 4 years) my body does things she never thought she could. They run great specials pretty often so I’m not spending a ton of $$$$, plus it pays off in the compliments I get from my friends about my shrinking tummy.

I really like this place! I was introduced to it thru a livingsocial deal and i had my doubts when I walked in. It is a bit bare bones BUT definitely a place where you’ll be doing yourself a disservice if you judge it by its cover. I was beyond stoked when they moved to the new studio which is clean and looks really really nice. there are no fancy machines or super fancy equipment. However, what you will find here are extremely knowledgable instructors who push you while making it fun. I love zumba with D’Marti, pilates with Kimberly, and hot yoga with Raquel. These classes are no joke and get ur heart rate up! Highly recommend!

I’m a workout-​Groupon bunny. That is, I hop from studio to studio whenever I get a great deal because I absolutely love fitness classes but am on a tight budget (military family, represent! lol). So naturally I was thrilled to get a 10-​class deal to this charming new studio in Upland.
The place is pretty small (although they’ve recently expanded), but easily accommodates up to 15 students per classroom without feeling crowded. I appreciate the intimate setting as opposed to classes at commercial gyms where 50 of us would be piled in like sweaty sardines. The smaller class sizes also mean more personalized attention from the instructors, which I thankfully always got being the clumsy beginner that I am.
The first class I tried was Hot Pilates. If you are a beginner and clueless like I was, take note: Hot Pilates does not mean «sexy» or «hip/​cool» Pilates (I wish I hadn’t actually thought this, people). It literally means HOT, they turn on space heaters all over the classroom until it feels like you’re working out in a sauna. Needless to say, I lasted 15 minutes before I had to sit out for a breather. One of the staff came and sat with me and helped me get my breathing under control and reassured me so I could jump back into class. I’m really glad they were so supportive because at times like those I feel so embarrassed and out of place (chubby girls, can I get an amen?) that I just want to quit.
Well I didn’t quit, I kept going until I found a class I loved: Zumba. Zumba on Saturdays with instructor D’marti is the most fun I’ve had working out in years. There were times when I’d just burst out laughing during a song because I was so euphoric (dancer’s high!) and I always left with a giant smile on my face, feeling like a powerhouse for pushing myself that much more. Come to Body Rituals and get empowered. Even when it gets tough, you won’t regret it.

This is the best pilates/​yoga studio in the Inland Empire. The instructors are great and the workouts are challenging. I got addicted after my first class. Come and try it out.

The only reason I started attending this studio is bc I purchased a groupon deal late last year… and I am sold!!! Raquel and the rest of the staff, Gonzalo, Kimberly, and Erika are AMAZING!!! After years of wasting my money on gym memberships and treadmills, they have converted me into a life long yoga student!

My friend has been telling me about this place for sometime now but I was always to involved in my own ways to give it a try. I tried it for the first time and loved it! I have been coming here for 3 months now and I get a great work out every time. Before BodyRituals I was training at home with p90x. I liked working out at home but it got boring after a while. My favorite classes are the Power Pilates and the Hot Yoga classes. They are intense and after every class I know that I pushed myself above and beyond.
With the Power classes we utilize weights with high intervals which is amazing for fat burning. Since coming here I have been able to shred more fat quickly. I love the workouts and the instructors are amazing too. They know how to push you to your limit in an empowering way that is positive and uplifting. More than anything, it is like a family and everybody loves fitness like I do. Can’t see myself going anywhere else!!!

This Zumba class that Jessi teaches is really awesome ^_^
I haven’t tried anything else yet but the nice thing is that their packages are created in a «drop in» style so you can go to any class you want.
