Mylenia Cleaning

I have been having these ladies come once a week for over 3 months and I am very happy with their cleaning. It was a little hard at first cause they didn’t know what and how I like my house cleaned. The ladies are nice and trustworthy which is very important. The owners work just as hard and go out and do the work too.

Ok, so I’m about to vent. I know customer service is very very important!
Debra and I talked to each on the phone and she was by far the sweetest’ so I applaud that!!! I’m very happy with how kind she was under the circumstances. So thank you Debra!
I needed a DEEP cleaning. I expressed that very much in emails, on the phone, and I said that I need a deep cleaning. A deep cleaning to me is cleaning things that most people will miss, like baseboards, light switch covers, behind furniture, underneath rugs. Extra loving touch!
However not only did I not receive a deep cleaning, but even the basics weren’t good! Things were dusty, and my sinks weren’t done properly. I am so upset with how the outcome was! I don’t get how you miss such simple things! They were going to charge me over $ 150. For this?
Also they don’t use deep products like Clorox or lime away, they used a towel to mop with a stick, they use what looks like water mixed with something.
I could have gotten a deeper cleaning with an old lady. I needed the house done for my boyfriend to move down. It needed to be ready by Monday. They offered someone else to come in but I dont know i thought about.

I was impressed from the very beginning. I requested quotes from 4 services in my area through Unilocal.Mylenia was on the only one that got back to me the next day. Jen came to my house and was able to provide me an estimate and set up the first appointment right then. There is an extra $ 49 for the first time cleaning, but honestly, that’s not too bad. I’ve had other cleaning businesses come in and they charge nearly double the weekly rate for the first time cleaning. Jen plus 3 maids showed up on time and did a fabulous job. I had a huge event planned the days following and their job was so good I didn’t have to do ANY cleaning prior to the event. We had 125 – 150 people over, and the Mylenia team are at my house as I type this and doing the cleanup. Showing up is half the battle and so far so good. I am pretty happy so far!

I would like to find a cleaning service that is not sky high. and actually pays attention to detail, this wasn’t the one for me they charge a$ 49 start up fee for «all the supplies they will need to clean your house», on top of their prices not a good deal!

Very prompt. I called Thursday, they were in my doorstep Friday.
Others would have said no.
They showed up at my door 15minutes before time and left as promised.
Paperwork was straightforward, done in minutes via email.

Now, that’s satisfaction.

Every other Thursday my home is shiny and clean when I get home from work! I can’t say enough good things about this company and the quality people that work there. They have a great thing going on are they keep getting even better :)

Fantastic! My overall experience was great. I originally contacted this company for a quote through Unilocal for a good, thorough cleaning of my kitchen and bathroom and was answered by Jennifer within an hour. She let me know that she could come by my apartment the next morning at 7:15am to give me an accurate quote since I had to leave early for work. At EXACTLY 7:15 Jennifer was at my door. She was very sweet, pleasant & professional. She gave me a quote and let me know that she would contact me for the next available appointment. She did as she said within a few hours and they were able to come the next morning. I was so happy!
I used cleaning services before and although I thought they were good, I always found a few places where they lacked when inspecting their cleaning job (even though I left a specific list on what I wanted done). This time I decided I wouldn’t leave a list of what needs to be done (since the other 2 services didn’t seem to pay attention to it). However, when I walked in my apartment after work on Friday I was BEYOND satisfied. My kitchen and bathroom were spotless! Even the areas the other cleaners neglected to pay attention to. I am very happy with the job and I will definitely use this company from now on.

I feel a bit angry for paying so much for a mediocre cleaning. Jenn was very nice at our first consultation and my first 2 cleanings were great. After that, it all went down hill. Cleaning got sloppier and sloppier. The last straw was when they cancelled on me twice in one day and texted me apologies and what not. If you are going to cancel on someone twice in one day you should at least call not text. So they give me 20 bucks off for the inconvenience, BFD. So we agreed on a different day and 2 different maids showed up that were clueless. They had no idea what they were supposed to clean and did a horrible job. When I called to cancel my service, no one really cared. They didn’t try to earn back my business by offering to re-​clean or anything. I feel totally ripped off.

After recently moving into a new apartment we called Mylenia Cleaning. They did an excellent job taking care of our new home and we have stayed with them ever since. We appreciate the friendly service and detail oriented work. They are a huge help since I am always busy with work and school. They do an awesome job cleaning the bathroom (my least favorite room to clean) and kitchen. They introduced me to a new mop which works proficiently with my hardwood floors and I have since recommended the mop to my mother in law who also has hardwood floors.
The automated system is phenomenal! It reminds me of my appointments which I often forget due to my hectic schedule. It’s so nice to be surprised when I come home to a clean house! There are few times I have had to reschedule and Jen was so nice and understanding about it and got back to me very quickly.
I can see how much this company cares about their customers. I don’t feel like just another job to them I can see that they genuinely care about my needs. They take the time to ensure that I am satisfied with their work.
I recommend Mylenia Cleaning to anyone.

I’ve had several firms over the years and these folks are the best. Jen does a great job on our house. Fair price, good work, what more can you ask?

It was so easy to schedule an appointment with Jen. I asked her team to clean my house last minute before my wedding because we had a bunch of family seeing our house for the first time. My husband and I were so pleased to come home to everything being cleaned! Our master bathroom shower is always the thing I dread cleaning the most and it looked amazing! They even organized our little soaps in a cute way, love the attention to details. Thanks girls!

I’m so grateful for Mylenia Cleaning’s continued EPIC CLEANINGS, responsiveness, and communication. These wonder women enter into my home and make life neater, more organized, and me happier :)! My first Mylenia Cleaning was upon my recent move into my new home, and the house was spotless! What a way to move in. I’ve stayed with them ever since, and their cleanings have never disappointed.
I’ve also valued their openness in communicating updates and transparency as they’ve crafted new systems. Their automated email reminder system is great! Given I travel for work so frequently, I cannot always get to a phone call and a simple email reminder goes a long way. I’ve already used their new customer care line to update on scheduling and can’t wait for their new client portal.

LOVE the team you sent today. Judy and Alex did a fantastic job. Detailed and efficient. Even found a set of keys that have been MIA for over a week! I hope I’ll stay on their schedule! =)

Jen and Amy were absolutely great. Very friendly and trustworthy. Did an excellent job and were very diligent in their work. They made sure I was completely satisfied with their work and were always asking if they could make my experience better. Highly recommend them!

I chose the most expensive package ($ 200 but I did get a discount and ended paying $ 166 for the first time) I was looking for a spotless home. Unfortunately, they did not deliver.
The customer service for the first visit (quote visit) was good and the cleaning crew (3 ladies, the day of the cleaning) were friendly and polite. My house is small and my expectations were high but the cleaning service was far from good. They didn’t even clean under the carpets, the tub was still dirty, there were corners and furniture filled with dust, the wood was not polished, they didn’t clean the ceiling fan, they didn’t even bother with the living room sofa etc.
I REALLY wanted to like the service but I am highly disappointed, the cleaning service is poor.
I was also waiting for a follow up call from them after the cleaning but it has been 5 days since the cleaning and nothing.

2 Stars to Jen, customer service (at least she’s still replying my emails and saying she’s still working on that). 1 star to the maids.
I tried Mylenia Cleaning after one maid apologized for full schedule and another maid was no-​shown at the scheduled date (they’re from other cleaning companies, not Mylenia). Mylenia has a lot of perfect reviews when browsing Unilocal.
Everything started perfect. Jen came for an estimation and I told her I’ll sign the contract with regular cleaning service, like bi-​weekly or per month, after the first cleaning.
The first cleaning is for second floor in my house only, 4 bedrooms (hard wood floor) and 2 bathrooms, no kitchen, no blinds. Deep clean. 2 hours (I know it’s too short but it’s not the reason they skipped a lot)
Well, two maids came on time (very good) and i introduced where they should focus on. They brought handy vacuum and some cleaning stuffs. they said it’s standard equipment for the house like mine. okay.
When I came back (15 minutes left according to 2-​hour work) they’re chatting in my master bathroom and saying they will do final check to see anything could be improved.
I was disappointed after took a look on the job they did although I tipped them.
ceiling fan: untouched (it’s included in Jen’s list)
table: stuffs were re-​organized well (good). but dust was still there after I moved the table lamps.
Bed headboards: untouched. dusty.
Bathroom (that’s everyone’s focus, right?): clean mirrors (good), but how can you image untouched shower door and faucets? they missed the most important cleaning points?!
Finally I did the cleaning job again by myself.
Then I wrote to Jen and hope she could let the company know. The maids should be trained much more skillfully. Like another Unilocaler said, the maids should have a checklist.
Jen replied very quick and agreed to re-​do the cleaning but sending the same maids team. I did not agree for sure. She agreed to send another team which work for other area soon because only one team with two maids take care of my area. can you believe that?
well, I’m still waiting for the another team for more than one month. I email to Jen bi-​weekly for a reminder. Yes, she «is» always working on the schedule. They spent two days to have scheduled my first cleaning appointment but no re-​do schedule so far during six weeks. I guess i will not see that team again.

Jen came to my house for a quote. I told her what I want to be cleaned (mainly kitchen stove, blinds & vents throughout the house) so we agreed to with «DEEP CLEAN» package ($ 315) that Jen offered since those items are all includes in the package.
Originally, we scheduled on the following Saturday because I wanted to see how this cleaning company could do (possibly continue a bi-​weekly service). On Friday before the cleaning Date, Jen called to reschedule because one of her crew’s son got sick. Ok… I agreed to reschedule thinking that she needs 3 – 4 crews people to do the deep cleaning. We agreed on the following weekend but I need to rescheduled for sooner date.
Finally got the house cleaned last Tuesday late afternoon. 2 people showed up at my house (Jen & another lady), a little confused because I thought it’s going to be 3 – 4 crews to do the deep cleaning. Well, I let them did their thing … A little after 2 more ladies showed up for awhile (cleaned the 2 bathrooms & a few things around the house) then they took off again. Now there’s back at 2 people team again until they done with everything.
Overall, I was kinda disappoint with their performance. May be I have (a little too) high hope of «DEEP CLEAN» package we paid for. We even moved most of little stuff off the counter & floor so they can clean the house easier.
— BLINDS & TRACKS; Jen did all the blinds cleaning and she told me that normally they don’t do that so I was thinking to myself, she was the one who told me on the day of the quote that this is part of what they do. (wth!) Blinds were clean but there are still some spots. Tracks, not very impressed.
— BATHROOM/​TUB/​SHOWER
AREA; they did good job on this one.
— KITCHEN: The lady cleaned my stove very well! But my kitchen sink & the hood above the stove were left UNTOUCHED.
— FLOOR: they did ok on this portion (just sweep & vacuum with the big vacuum cleaner so if you are looking for DEEP CLEANING in the corner of you room, forget it!) and if I did not check my bathroom floor before they left, those will be left untouched as well.
— FURNITURE /​SURFACE: I don’t know what kind of cloth that they used but they left lots of lint on the all my furniture & counter so I ended up cleaning them again. Ugh!
— AC Vent around the house: Left untouched
In conclusion, staffs are great & friendly but cleaning performance did not meet my expectations. I don’t know if because it’s the last appointment of the day or they did not have enough man power but I feel like they wanted to rush and leave. Well, they charged me full price for the DEEP CLEAN service so I think I should get 100% from them as well. They should have their check list and check their work if they miss any items before packing all the cleaning tools but I had to discover the items that did not get clean after.
My tips
1. Don’t get the deep cleaning (because it’s not worth it)
2. Don’t get the last appointment of the day

These girls came into a mess while we were finishing construction and trying to get moved in the girls worked around everyone! The were prompt, courteous, and dud a great job cleaning my son’s new home! Thank you for all you did.

Excellent customer service. They arrived exactly on time and did a great job cleaning our home. When they were done, they asked me to inspect the house and see if there was anything else l wanted them to clean before leaving. They were thorough and took care with our belongings and our home (I had a previous housekeeper that was so rushed they banged up baseboards with vacuum. I never felt like the girls were rushing to get to the next job).
This is a great company and I’ve already recommended them to my coworkers.

Mylenia started cleaning our house every two weeks and I love coming home after they have been there… sparkle clean :)) And now it stays cleaner, ahhh… life is good! Thanks Jen & Mylenia Cleaning!
