I live in Orange County and wish you guys would open a store in OC or LA! I have been to 3 of the 4 locations and your store always has the best products stocked as well of a wide selection! Whether you’re there for cakes, cupcakes, or candy… You’ll find all your baking needs here at the Cakewalk. December was extremely helpful and recommended some products that helped me master the candy melts for dipping cake pops! Thanks girl! Once again, please open a store in OC (or LA). Thanks!

I didn’t realize they weren’t open until 11 for non members! But pretty inconvenient for doors to be open considering I was going to buy some supplies I needed. I was turned away and as a customer it’s like a slap in the face because if it wasn’t for customers your business wouldn’t be successful…

Just went in for the first time. I follow their Instagram and have always wanted to come in. So glad I did! Cassie was helping me out and I couldn’t have been more satisfied with her. She was incredibly nice and helpful, answered all my questions with patience. They have an incredible selection of baking and cake decorating supplies. Even had Easter cupcakes pre made and decorated. I will absolutely be back and start purchasing anything I need from here.

Although convenient I’ve never experienced worse customer service from an owner of a «new» business like this before. Went in to have a full sheet candy picture printed out, the owner, or woman who claimed to be the owner must have misheard me or misread my online order and printed it on a half sheet. When I explained my dissatisfaction she preceded to tell me that it was fine she will reprint it for me but she would have to charge me for both. I said I wasn’t going to pay for both and she said «fine» and complained the whole time while reprinting my picture about how expensive the ink was to a fellow associate. Very dissatisfied customer service is very important we have many choices of bake shops as an alternative Michaels, a couple doors down for example. Please treat your customers with respect and remember «The customer is always right.»

Wasn’t for me.
First thing I like to do is compare prices to other places. Some things were a bit cheaper like the cake boards and cupcake boxes. Fondant tools though, were overpriced.
Example: 20 inch fondant roller was $ 45 here. At Michael’s it is $ 20 (not including a coupons from their site. I had a 50% off). Yes, they were different brands, but it’s the same damn tool.
They did not have the Teal color gel, which I ended up buying at Michael’s for $ 2.50 minus their 40% coupon= $ 1.50. They also did not have the 12×12 heavy duty cake box in stock.
They did have a huge variety of sprinkles, a ton of cookie cutters, chocolate molds, and cupcake liners.
Overall, I was a bit disappointed. I came here after I heard it on KTLA news station.
I drove from Whittier, so it was definitely not worth it for me.

Drove there from Rancho to check it out. I follow their facebook page and it seemed like they had a huge selection and bargain prices. I was surely disappointed when I got there. Hardly any selection at all and WAY overpriced. I have a cake supply right down the street from me that is way cheaper so not worth my time or gas. Just to give you an idea a 5lb bag of melting chocolates $ 25.99 and I get mine for $ 18.99 at Sweet Mercantile. Their 12oz bag of chocolates is $ 3.99 but for the same price you can get 1lb elsewhere.

My first time going today! I was not disappointed! The staff was very helpful and friendly not overbearing at all. They seemed to be around at the right time when i thought of a new question. And i had a lot of questions. Great prices and great selection!

I love this place! It is so clean and everything is new! The prices are usually good (but the buttercream frosting is a little on the expensive side IMO). I love the huge variety of colors in chocolate, frosting and gel colors. Always remember your coupons!!!

I wrote a not so good review a month or so ago about the class schedule and availability. I was pleasantly surprised to be contacted by a member of the store via email. They really care about customer experience. They made an exception for me and I attended the cookie decorating class. It was so much fun. This is a store who cares about customer service and loyalty. In addition to the classes… they have everything you could think of and at a decent price.

The Cakewalk is awesome! Every time I walk in the doors, I feel like a kid in a candy store! They have everything I need. Candy melts, fillings, cake mixes, etc. they even have fondant exclusively at their store that tastes so good. I’ve always hated the taste of fondant until I got to taste a sample of their Renshaw. Yes, they even give you a sample of their product if you want to taste it. How cool is that?! Even if they’re out of stock on something or they don’t sell it in their store, they can see if they can bring it from another location or even special order it for you. I love that I can use competitors coupons and that they match prices. I don’t have to go to 5 different stores to get things I need for one project. It’s great! And it’s always clean and organized so I find things a lot easier. I can say they have a loyal customer for life.

Love this place! They always have what I need for my orders and if I’m needing something special they will do what they can to get it for me. Its always organized and clean, which is a major win in my book! And best of all they let you use coupons. This place for sure beats out other places I’ve been to!

Finally went in for the first time today. The customer service is great! All the girls are sooo friendly and helpful. The selection is decent but definitely a lot less cake merchandise than their competitors A&J candy and cake supplies (they are local too and have been my go to for years). I noticed their stuff is higher in price than AJ supply and other places I’ve visited, they do however match pricing.
All in all, decent small place, can be pricey in comparison, limited supplies, but a super friendly staff! Their sprinkles/​cupcake liners selection is great.

Three stars only for there selection on everything. But there prices are high they do offer for you to use competitor coupons but in the end I pay the same as my other cake supply store. There chocolate coats horribly on cake pops not sure if it’s been sitting on the shelf for to long it also has a white dusty coat on them that only happens to the chocolate I get from other places when it’s in my pantry for to long. But staff is nice.

Just went here for this first time today. High recommended. The selections are extensive, especially for hard to find items. They are pretty progressive for only having 3 locations as they accept competitor coupons. It’s great to shop at a locally owned business that also caters to consumers in a generous way like that. Also, fantastic customer service.

MY FAVORITE PLACE OF ALL TIME! They literally have everything, and the amount of coupons they have and accept is amazing! I used to travel from rancho to redlands for this store! Super glad they now have one in montclair! The staff is ALWAYS super nice and helpful as well!
