This place is what I would call«Shady». The owner is not an honest man and on more than one occasion he has tried to over charge me. Just make sure you review your receipts.

This place is great! My husband needed his suit dry cleaned and pressed. The shirt, blazer and pants only costs $ 13.80 for dry clean and pressing. They also do clothing alternations and preserve wedding dresses in shadow boxes. The service there was impeccable. They have quick turn around service. I dropped the suit off on Wednesday evening and it was ready for pick-up Friday afternoon. Would highly recommend.

We have been going here for years and we love them. They are super nice and friendly! Will totally work with you if you need something done quickly too. I take EVERYTHING there to be altered or mended since I do not sew, at all! I have always been fully happy with Elly’s work.

Excellent, friendly service. I bring in my clothes — dresses, shirts, suits — every week and I get quality service every time. I recommend this place to anyone.

Brought some dressed in to be hemmed. They did a total hack job. The dress had to be hemmed from a seam on the bottom third of the dress. they sloppily cut the fabric, about four inches of it, and not in a straight line. The dress is A line, so the bottom piece needed to be taken in in order to match the length of the top portion. Instead they just sewed it together without taking the longer portion in, so the fabric puckers. I picked up the dress and could see the problem while it was still hanging in the back of the shop. I told them it looked awful, and after telling me that it looks like crap because the fabric didn’t match up — I asked why they didn’t just cut it so that it did match up? I’ve been sewing for about a year, I’m no pro — and I could have done a better job. And so, they promised to try again. And I picked up the dress. And it looks exactly the same as it did. There’s loose thread sticking out inside and I can actually feel the extra fabric rubbing my ankles when I wear this dress. Which I won’t be doing because it looks awful. So in short. Maybe Upland Cleaners should invest in a serger. I would expect that as a place that accepts alterations as part of it’s business that they would know that you can’t sew jersey fabric with a regular sewing machine(which is what they did and particularly poorly) and either turned me away or not ruined my dress.

Upland Cleaners & Laundry is awesome. Yeah, it feels like a sauna inside(try to avoid coming here on a hot day), but the service is so warm and friendly and they do an excellent job. To have my suit dry-cleaned, along with a polo and a dress shirt, I was charged $ 14, which included $ 2 off as my «birthday discount.»(It’s true, I really did come here on my birthday!) It took a little longer than other nearby places to get everything done(about 3 business days) but when I got there to pick up my items, I saw the owner in the back with my stuff, carefully using a lint roller to clean off my garments, brush them up a bit, and carefully package them. Talk about TLC!
