Wedgewood Upland Hills

I cannot believe how unprofessional they are. I made my date clear when I sent the inquiry to them. I even asked on the phone to be sure it was open my date. They booked me an appointment to view the property, based on my specific inquiry. I was clear that I was planning a corporate holiday party for December 10^th.
They told me the soonest appointment they had was a week out– on a Sunday evening. They called on Friday afternoon to confirm I would make it. I am guessing to make sure that I am coming and won’t waste their time. Funny, the courtesy didn’t go both ways.
I got a babysitter. I went out in the floods and pouring rain.
The moment I walked in the room I knew it was too small for my event. Apparently, if you’re over 150, you go in a tent on the lawn not the banquet room. This was not in any of the literature.
As soon as I sat down, the woman I met with told me she didn’t know the date. I told her my date and she told me it was booked. Not only that day but every Saturday in December. She claimed it was the corporate call center’s fault for not checking the date. However, she had all of the information including the theme and number of guests. How did she not know the date? It typed it right into their form. I had also confirmed on the phone before I even set the appointment which date I wanted and that it was available.
My planning partner also had driven from Highland and had her infant with her as she was nursing and had to bring her. We couldn’t have been more shocked.
Then the woman tried to push a Sunday party or to book one of their other locations. So it seems they try to lure people in when they know they aren’t even available and try to get them to book something, anything. Why would we book anything with them after that? Just say you aren’t available and let people decide if they want another date or to go elsewhere. I can respect that and keep you in mind for next time.
I got the strong feeling that this was a wedding mill and not much thought went into the individual before them. They double booked the appointment so one potential client was in the office while I was sitting in the banquet room.
I will gladly take my tens of thousands of dollars somewhere that has some common decency and doesn’t waste my time.

My husband and I were married at WW Upland Hills last weekend. I am still overwhelmed about how wonderful and flawless the day was. When my Mother and I first went to visit venues, we were won over by Cassie and Evelyn and how upbeat and friendly they were. It was wonderful working with them over the course of 9 months to plan our wedding. They were always responsive, kind and flexible and open to my inquiries and requests. I have been in the event industry myself for over 10 years and I am quite picky but was sooo happy with everything. With the WW coordination services I was able to just show up on the wedding day and relax and be a bride.
1. Planning process — Easy — as I mentioned above, the ladies were so responsive. Since I live close, I was able to stop by anytime I had a question.
2. Venue — We held our ceremony outside at the Gazebo (thank goodness it didn’t rain!) and the reception inside in their tent. It was lovely. We added lighting and chandeliers to increase the ambiance. we had just shy of 160 guests and the size of the room was perfect.
3. Food — Great (although my husband and I were too busy to eat our plates) Our guests are Still calling to tell me how good their food was. They don’t offer a tasting, and I was a little anxious, but everything turned out nicely. We had 8 assorted salads, the chicken marsala, rice pilaf and salmon.
4. Service — top notch! The catering/​sales & banquet staff were great.
5. Preferred vendors — we used their preferred vendors for the DJ, Photography, Cake and Flowers and were very pleased. All of them working together was a well oiled machine! We couldn’t have been happier.
6. Overall — the day was a whirlwind but we had absolutely NOTHING go wrong. Thanks to God and the prepared, calm and professional WW staff.

Ok, Ill try to make this as painless as possible for those of you interested in Wedgwood upland hills. I got married on 10-​17-​2015. The beginning process was pretty simple. June 2014 I booked an appointment to see the venue, which we liked. I liked Wedgwood when I saw that they have packages that included DJ, Floral, Dinner, venue and reception. At that point we knew this is where we wanted to get married. We decided on the emerald package which had most of what we wanted. We were able to add on uplighting, photo-​booth, and chair covers. They do add a 21% service charge when you book the venue. However you will be making payments. (first payment when you book, second is 4 months out and final payment 10 days before the wedding)
In November they have a bridal banquet which I highly recommend that brides to be go too. They had your florist, baker, and some recommend vendors that you could add to your package. I found my videographer and photographer here. I was involved in a raffle which gave me free table over lays for my reception. This banquet gives you an opportunity to ask questions and to try some of the hor d’ oeuvres. (Which were delicious)
After that it was time to start ordering invitations. They gave us a gift card worth $ 300.00 to purchase your toasting flutes, invitations, cocktail napkins, and cake knife server on a website they have. I was lucky enough that all of it was purchased by using the gift card (I think I had about 3 or 5 dollars credit). I had about 120 guest so I was in need of about 200 cocktail napkins and 55 invitations. They website was kinda complicated, but they do give you a print out of instructions in your Wedgwood book.
In your Wedgwood book they schedule your appointment way in advance, however they are flexible to change appointments. Your Wedgwood book is your bible. Most of your questions will be answered in there and it is very organized and well thought out. If you cant find your answer you can always call or email them and they get back to you in about 24 hours or so. Your music worksheet is also in there. You will have to email your worksheet to your DJ and he will call to confirm all your listed songs. Our DJ was Cory and he was OUTSTANDING! You will also be picking your hor d’ oeuvres and dinner through your Wedgwood book. You have two choices plated or buffet. We went with buffet and it was amazing. We got so many compliments on how good the food was. We had some guest needed gluten free and some vegetarians and they told us that this was the first time they were stuffed at the wedding considering their limitations on what they can eat. we had vegetarian lasagna, prime rib, and teriyaki chicken with garlic mash potato and 8 different salads. We were extremely pleased with the food!
You will present all of this at your details meeting which is about 6 weeks out. At your details meeting you will chose what color napkins, table cloth, time frame of ceremony/​reception, speeches, seating chart, etc. At this point this is your last chance to add anything to your package. we added our photographer but we were unaware that it was additional 21% service charge to add her and was not told that another service charge would be added. However our photographer knew of this and lowers her prices for Wedgwood brides.
The day of the wedding was pretty relaxed for the most part. I found out that my in laws had decorated the aisle in the morning and was told it was taken down by either Wedgwood staff or the florist because they thought it was from the previous wedding. My mother in law extremely upset and had to rush to place everything back up and then come back to me to vent. After that Evelyn kept me updated as to how many people have arrived, and when we should start (considering not all my guest were there right at 5) Evelyn was very calm and relaxed which helped, considering I was a little emotional. I also did not want my husband to see me until I was walking down the aisle and they made sure to hide me behind cars until he was turned around. (This was very important to me considering you ride up on a golf cart) It went perfectly! After that we enjoyed our reception. Steven was our event captain I believe and was continually checking in with us to make sure everything was going to our liking. He was very enthusiastic and you can tell he truly enjoys weddings and making sure the bride and groom are having a good time. Now afterwards we were told that the bar was charging people for drinks with more than two types of liquor. We were told that we would have an open bar, it just wasn’t going to have premium alcohol. We were a little disappointment to find out that our guest couldn’t get the drink they wanted.
Overall my experience with Wedgwood was pretty good. The overall cost of my wedding through just Wedgwood and our added on photographer to our package was about 19K. If you’re looking for a place that’s a one stop shop this is it.

Wedgewood Upland Hills is fantastic! From the beginning, the staff was nothing but short of amazing. Cassie and Evelyn were on top of everything, I never had to worry. Every meeting I had with them, every single question was answered and they went above and beyond to make sure I had exactly what I wanted. I really loved having Cassie coordinate my special day. I literally worried about nothing. I needed water, she was already there with one. We wanted to make sure timing was just right, she was there to remind us of our schedule. The entire wedgewood staff was awesome. Our banquet captain Melissa was constantly making sure we had food and drinks during pictures, the reception and boxed up all of our leftover so we could have a nice treat back at the hotel. The food was so delicious and we LOVED cocktail hour appetizers. I could go on forever about how amazing this day was thanks to this staff.

We just had our wedding at Wedgewood Upland Hills on October 23, and it was nothing short of amazing. We started our process with them back in November (11 months ago), and from day one, the experiences with the staff here have been above and beyond. We never felt like just another client to them. They were always readily available for any and all questions and concerns we had throughout the planning process. The entire process was very personal and I cannot rave enough about how happy my husband and I are with everything.
We were so impressed with how everything came together the day of the wedding. Kevin, Cassie, Evelyn, and the Steven went above and beyond to help make our day run smoothly. There were absolutely no glitches, and our guests even talked about how smoothly things went. We ran an hour ahead of schedule (yes, ahead… We over anticipated the amount of time needed for pictures), and they worked everything out. They were constantly making sure that my husband and I were taken care of that evening.
We have already been getting numerous compliments from our guests about how it was probably one of the best weddings they’ve attended, and we know a good portion of that was because of how amazing the Wedgewood Upland Hills staff is.
The DJ Cory was also remarkable, and kept the flow of the party going all night. We were worried about taking the gamble of using a DJ we didn’t know anything about, but he kept the energy high (which is exactly what we asked for from him). Our guests loved him.
Lastly, the cake from Cucamonga Cakery was delicious, and our guests are continuing to rave about it. The process with them was easy as well.

My husband and I got married at Wedgewood in Upland a week ago and we couldn’t have had a better wedding. The day was absolutely amazing, we are so grateful to the Wedgewood staff. From the first day we signed the contract, a year and a half ago, to our wedding day the staff was unbelievably attentive and professional. We didn’t use the Wedgewood photographer or cake services but the Wedgewood staff worked so well with the people we had chosen, I was nervous up until the day how everything would turn out but I shouldn’t have been at all. Everything was amazing. Our family and friends that attended our wedding were all so impressed by Wedgewood as well. I would also like to rave about the Wedgewood florist Robert and the Wedgewood DJ Cory, they were both amazing and I wouldn’t have been able to chose anyone better. My husband and I will be forever grateful to Wedgewood for making our wedding day AMAZING!

Best decision we ever made besides each other. The staff were so helpful every step of the way. The food, the music the atmosphere and staff were awesome. Thank you very much guys. Anyone that’s looking for professional and caring staff to help plan your big day, this is the spot.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding. The staff is there for you every step of the way. They’re great at making you feel at ease and they truly take care of everything. I wasn’t the least bit stressed thanks to Cassie. She was great at calling me back if I had any questions. They make the whole wedding process so simple. I was a little worried about the food since they don’t do tastings but the food was great! Use the vendors they suggest and it makes life so much easier. I had no idea that planning a wedding could be so simple. Thanks again Cassie, Evelyn and Kevin!

Planning my daughters wedding while she and her fiancé are stationed across the country. Kevin and Cassie have been so wonderful and helpful. Even in planning stages all the help I can get is appreciated.

My husband and I were married here almost 2 years ago. This place was the perfect place to have our wedding! The scenery was great for pictures, the hall was breathtaking, and all the staff were incredible. Michelle and Kevin worked with us to make the most incredible day that still fit to to our budget. The food was EXCELLENT. We run into people who had attended and even today they still comment on how good the food was! It was a little scary because they didn’t offer taste testing at the time, but I’m glad we took the plunge! Thank you, Wedgewood, for making our special day so magical!!!

So far this place is the best my wedding it getting close! Just went to make a payment. These ladies are so nice! Only 115 days till the big day!

We were very happy with the service we received by Wedgewood for our daughter’s Sweet 16 party. The staff was very organized and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Upland Hills Wedgewood did a great job bringing all of my wedding choices together. I wasn’t 100% clear on having to actually plan the event, which you do have to with «all inclusive» packages. Our reception in their fountain room was beautiful & the ceremony was also beautiful. The staff was truly fantastic & did their best to make sure that the planning elements were on track which was helpful.

We were married here over a year ago and had a perfect night that turned out a million times better than I could have imagined!
We were married at the gazebo and our reception was inside the Fountain View room because I loved the idea of the veranda. It was gorgeous, everyone said the food was delicious, the dj was fun and did exactly what we asked, the bar selection was great, and our coordinators Jennifer and Michelle were awesome! The prices were amazing too, so much better than other options we looked at!

I had my wedding, it was perfect. Food was excellent, coordination was perfect, set up was perfect. Rose, Kevin, and Marrisa made our wedding experience at wedgewood awesome !!

It’s almost been a month since my wedding and all our friends and family are still talking about how nice our wedding was. As everyone is well aware of and the worst nightmare for all brides-​to-​be, a million things could easily go wrong at any wedding!!! Michelle and Rose made sure my wedding was PERFECT!!!
My first time visit with Michelle was very warm and quickly connected. She understands what brides want, need, and avoid. I’m the type of person who worries about all kinds of stuff and doesn’t easily rely on people with personal tasks. However, after meeting Michelle, I was very relieved and knew I could trust her completely. She went over enough details (so that I’m not overwhelmed) and was very straight forward about exactly what we will be getting for the end result.
The planning process was easy breezy for me because Michelle and Rose are very responsive and always one step ahead of me. I go to meetings very prepared, and I’m glad to see they were even more prepared than I was.
The day of the wedding was more beautiful than I could ever ask for. All the vendors exceeded my expectations. The flowers are PERFECT! (there was a small mixed-​up with my centerpieces but they quickly fixed if after I raised my issue) The setup was PERFECT! The DJ Ceaser A Flores was Super Super AWESOME!!! He made sure everything was smooth and no awkward silence. The food was amazing! The service was really really nice. The bar service was quick and nice from what I heard from my guests. The officiant Bill Wood was very nice and made our service very memorable.
I love everything about this venue and everyone who made my wedding so perfect. Thank you Wedgewood, Michelle, Rose, Ceaser, Robert, Bill, and Lulan. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

Value, Service, and Convenience. In addition to being «all inclusive» with the option to customize and optimize at your preference (and $), Michele, Candace, and Jennifer (and Kevin) were great to work with. Although both Candace and Jennifer have since moved on (I booked over a year in advance), Michelle and Christine continued to be great. Their communication is thorough and helpful, and they enthusiasm for providing you with your perfect day was reassuring and meaningful.

The Upland Hills venue is not the most glamorous, but I was looking for a nice place to host a great party, and this was it. I wasn’t about to fork up an extra $ 10k just to have a Pasadena or Orange County backdrop. I needed good service, reliable systems, and a place to party, and Wedgewood delivered.
My only beef with them is that they booked TWO other events on the same day. A «short» event in the morning (which meant that we couldn’t get on-​site until 2.5 hours before) and another reception (in the tent) in the evening, while mine was going on.
Due to the issues that the other party was having in the tent, my Wedgewood coordinators didn’t make much of an appearance at my reception — but that’s OK because I had my own day-​of coordinators.
Overall, I truly appreciated the timely and helpful communication, their suggestions, their willingness to work with us on a variety of different issues, and their positive, upbeat attitude. The venue worked out perfectly, and everyone had a great time.
Word of caution. They’ll warn you (jokingly) about brides that throw the bouquet into the chandelier. They are NOT kidding. You can now add my name to that list.
Notes about their «All Inclusive» Service:
Catering — 4.5 stars. You don’t get a tasting, but trust me — The food is GOOD. Guests definitely raved about the meal. I LOVED their hors d’ouvres; you can try some of those out during their bridal faires. If you ask the staff about the food, they’ll give you honest responses. We had the buffet, which included 8 salads. Everyone was happy. Oh, and their bread is nice, warm, and delicious.
Bar/​Alcohol — 5 stars. The bartender doesn’t skimp on the alcohol; she doesn’t over-​do it, either. The table wine selection is also very good. Try those out at the bridal faire, too.
Floral Sensations — 5 stars. I’d give them a million if I could. I can’t imagine a better group of people (specifically, Robert) to work with. They. Were. AMAZING.
Cucamonga Cakery — 3.5 stars. Their cake was a solid «good.» They offered good options. Their «tasting» session doesn’t include all their flavors. It’s a small business, but they made things easy. If you want a phenomenal cake, go to Porto’s or King’s Hawaiian… But I didn’t want to pay the extra $$$.
Sheraton Ontario Airport — 3 stars. I really enjoyed our wedding night stay (*cough* Stay PG, please). They put us up in the VIP floor, which included free beverages and use of their lounge. We also got late check-​out (but I don’t remember if we asked for it or not). I’m annoyed with Sheraton because I met with them 4 (FOUR!) times to go over our wedding-​day shuttle schedule and on the day of, they STILL couldn’t figure it out. It didn’t ruin anything, though. Just some confusion that Wedgewood had to help sort out.
DJ Service, Photographer, Videographer — N/​A. I chose my own.

My husband and I were married here just last weekend and it was PERFECT!
Honeslty can’t say enough good things about them!
For starters, our first vist was so nice! We went to check it out and they were very informative and super friendly. No pressue to book with them or anything, just said to give them a call if we were interested or had any questions. We left the venue and literally turned back around and booked that day!!!
Our second visit was so fun! We worked with Michelle and she went over ALL of the options, food, décor, extras (lighting, photobooth, etc), gave us a binder to organize everything and i mena EVERYTHING. It had a list of all the caterers they work with and reccomended photographers and the DJ. We gave them an estimate of people and chose everything we wanted for our wedding and theygave us estimates which we could change and and edit whenever we needed too.
Our final last visit we gave them our final head count and went over everything we wanted for our day and picked out all the details! It was so fun.
VERY affordable. We had a wedding of 75 guests for less than 8,000. Including; cake, DJ, food, invitations, flutes, decoration, o’dourves and much more!!! So so pleased, reccomend it to everyone and anyone getting married on a budget!

This review is nearly a year overdue. My husband and I were married here on October 19, 2012. It was, without a doubt, THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Robin, AJ, and everyone at Wedgewood made planning our wedding SO easy! They are professional, hard working, and they go to great lengths to ensure that you and your guests are taken care of on your wedding day.
We were one of the fist weddings to be in their big outdoor tent! It was the prefect setting for our wedding of 120 guests. The room fits many more guests than that, but we wanted everyone to have plenty of space. They also keep it very cool in their, which was great for this bride and groom who danced the night away, but some guests mentioned that they were cold during cocktail hour. Oh well!
Their vendors are top notch. We used their wedding cake bakery (DELCIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL!!) and we used their flower vendor (ROBERT! You are SPECTACULAR). And their DJ is great! Hector played the perfect music and kept the evening flowing at a nice rate. We also opted for the photo booth… a must! So fun!
Everything was beyond gorgeous and if there were ANY kinks in the evening, nobody knew. It was such an elegant, classy, yet comfortable venue.
The food was GREAT! (Though my husband and I hardly ate any of it.) We got a buffet with chicken in a white wine sauce and the carved beef (everyone thought it was prime rib, but it was a cheaper cut… just as tasty!) All the salads, potatoes, side dishes were great! The only thing I would have liked was for them to make a couple of plates of food for us to take with us to our hotel later that ninth because we were starving.
I seriously feel like I could ramble on for hours because it was just such a wonderful evening and a fantastic experience as a whole.
I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to everybody! (And I do! I tell all my engaged friends!)
