Definitely the best juice I’ve had in Columbus! SambaFresh was the first juice I tried, followed by two other juice places in town, and I wondered why I bothered going anywhere else. SambaFresh was definitely the best juice, has the best prices, and the best customer service. I was able to try ALL of the juices (at least 10 – 15 varieties) and was given so much information about each of them. Another thing I like about Samba is that, being someone who juices only occasionally, I didn’t feel uncomfortable walking in, or like I was out of place. The staff member who helped me was great and so friendly. I honestly liked just about every juice I tried, and I can’t wait to go back for more!

I really really like this place, and we just met yesterday. I think we may go steady here soon.
I was merely driving through a parking lot, looked up, and the neon signage up front caught my attention. Not to forget I recently read an article about how your local juicer probably needs the business more than the name brands all over your local grocery shelf that scream corporate (after all those are owned by corporate) but I digress. I looked around, sample a few varieties, and then chatted with Rachel. She had not only a wealth of information about the business that she was running, but a passion that doesn’t go unnoticed. It was very refreshing, because I wouldn’t consider myself an expert in the juicing corner at all. No beginner, but I learned a lot about what Samba is all about when I talked to her. I think they seem to have a batch of recipes down, and I feel confident about the quality of the products. They are priced accordingly, and I do enjoy that they haven’t been pasteurized. Im digging the buy 12 get one free deal, the cleanse packs, and the app you can download.
Flavors Ive tried so far: Belo, Tonico, D4, Brasil, Proteina Choco, and Agua Preto.

WOW!!! is what ill start off with. My experience was not something i was prepared for. The lady working named Rachel was definitely something special. She knew the juices inside and out and allowed me a free tasting of everything in the store. Her energy and enthusiasm for the product was AMAZING!
Living in NYC now i have had my fair share of Juice bar experiences, this place sets a new standard. Unfortunately this place cant ship out to NYC so Ill definitely be back next time I am in Town! Ill have to stock up!

We went into Samba Fresh and left with not only some delicious juice, but a great experience. Samba Fresh was recommended to us (the word is getting out) by a bank teller at Chase. We went in and Rachael (who was AWESOME!) gave us a flight of juices, each building complexity and depth. They are absolute masters of their craft transcending traditional juicing to some kind of juice mixology. It was a learning experience even, as she taught us the benefits of each juice and what they can do for your body and even the most relatable hangover. She made what could have been simple juice purchase fun, and definitely earned new loyal customers. Go here!

Wow! Thanks Unilocalers! All your great reviews led me here… I’ve wanted to do a juice cleanse for a while, but didn’t really know what was best for me. All of that was put to rest once I walked into SambaFresh. From the minute I walked in the door until I left I was sold on how great these juices are for you.
I had the privilege of meeting the owner Kitt. He is beyond passionate about juicing. Not to mention he’s very friendly and helpful. I ended up buying a two day cleanse and I can’t wait to start.

What an excellent juice shop this is. They only make juice and they only do it well. My juice had pineapple, cucumber, mint, orange, Apple, ginger, turmeric and lemon. Awesome combination and the juice was very smooth. It’s $ 8 for a juice but that’s fair and to be expected for organic juice.

Samba fresh is the best juice shop I have ever been to. While the interior leaves much to be desired, the juice definitely makes up for it. After all, I’m not going in for the ambiance… so who really cares. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable, and I have yet to try a juice that I don’t like.

I recently completed a three day cleanse from sambaFRESH and can vouch for the quality of their juicing program. I picked up my supply on a Monday, and not only was I set for the next three days, but was also given a support system I could call if I had any issues. I can’t say enough about how great the staff is. You can tell they love what they do, and their energy is contaigeous.
The cleanse itself was very straightforward and each juice was labeled in the order I would drink it. This was my first cleanse, so I was shocked that I wasn’t actually hungry. I concluded juicing is more of a mental game than a physical one (though I did have some withdrawals on my second day – damn caffeine dependency).
If you’re worried about it, you can do what I did and try a «modified» cleanse. I juiced all day but got to eat a sensible dinner at night.

Visited sambaFRESH last week and was overwhelmed by their knowledge and awesome hospitality. They allowed me to try a crazy number of their fresh juices while explaining the reasoning behind the ingredients used, and what they would do for my body. I was able to take home three juices to try out and loved all of them. Going back tomorrow to pick up my three day juice cleanse and couldn’t be more pumped about it. This place will definitely become part of my routine and you should make it yours too.

I am ecstatic with my experience at Samba Juice. Upon entering, I was greeting by the most genuine and passionate business owner, Kit. He happily allowed my friend and I to sample all of his juices in order for us to truly find a cleanse that worked best for us! I can’t speak enough about how delicious and fresh his juices taste and his enthusiasm for his craft! Samba is incredible, I will be back here hundred times over!

Alright, as a disclaimer, you should take my review with a grain of salt. I’m clearly not trendy enough to really know about juicing, let alone cold pressed juicing, so I’m giving the perspective of someone who walked in and was basically like, «Uh, so wait, what are the benefits of this?»
I’d been eyeing sambaFRESH for a while, as I drive by it quite frequently. In my mind, it was some variation on a smoothie place. I didn’t really know what to expect. The reviews were good so I said, hey, why not give it a shot?
On a cold snowy/​rainy day, we walked in. At first, it didn’t look like the place was open. Although the sign is bright and vibrant, the inside isn’t. The walls are white and it’s fairly empty except for a wall of juice.
We walk in, and I think we’re probably both thinking, «Oh wow, we’re in over our heads…» Luckily for us, the guy helping us (who was not the owner) was pretty nice and happy to explain what the whole process was. He even let us try a few juices.
Unfortunately, and as some other reviews have mentioned, they were out of most juices. The guy helping us said that they have a hard time keeping them in and your best bet is to come in the morning. I can’t really do that with my schedule, so I’m guessing I’d have to just hope to get lucky in trying some of the varieties he thought I’d like, but they were out of. I did try the D4, the D2, and the Rio. I liked them all! Sweet enough to be yummy, but with enough of a vegetable taste that I also knew I was doing something good for my body (the ingredients on the bottle helped!)
The disclaimer on the bottle about how the ingredients weren’t pasteurized and you shouldn’t drink them if you had a weakened immune system scared me a little. I’m sure they have it on there to avoid any liability issues, but I was still like «gah, my immune system is fine, right?! Right!!!»
The bottles are $ 8 each. While I liked what I got and would be interested in trying it again, I don’t know how often I can go here with those prices! Yes, I understand that the prices are comparable to other juicing places. Yes, I understand that I’m paying to put healthy things in my body, not the processed sludge I might get elsewhere. But for me, it probably won’t be a frequent stop.
SambaFRESH was definitely worth a visit! But it might be a once-​in-​a-​while stop for me. I’ve heard they’re opening several new locations soon, so clearly I’m in the minority — it seems like most people love it!

As I donned my gown, and bent my head to graciously accept the crown as the newly proclamined Duchess status of sambaFRESH with my check-​in today, I realized that it wouldn’t be right to accept my new royal position without taking my feather and ink and manuscripting my experience at my newly acquired kingdom (at this point it may or may be obvious that I’m not 100% sure what role the duchess plays in the royal line up. I’m going to guess I’m between queen and princess.)
As I was saying, to avoid a stampede of the villagers, please allow me to share wtih you the wonderment and joy that circle the air of this establishment.
Firstly, there is Kitt the owner. These guy is crazy about juice! He is incredibly knowledgeable, makes great recommendations, and bonus — he wants you to try every single juice that is available so that you can have the full experience! The menu has it’s staples like Amazonic, the Detox series, and Hydrate. sambaFRESH (SF) also provides a tasty protein drink and along with boosted water to aid in the cleansing process.
While it’s true that SF can create a wonderful cleanse program, I also like to buy the juice to boost my immune system and increase the amount of vitamins would generally take in. I’ve never meet a juice here I didn’t absolutely love. I’m one for juice with a kick, so if you’re a bit leery of peppers, there may be a couple of drinks your palate should avoid.
SF has made some pretty big cosmetic changes in the last few weeks, and have removed the old school coaches and replaced them with modern style tables and chairs. I felt like I walked into a juice bar! Swanky, indeed!
From a price standpoint, SF is definitely on the lower end scale as a cold press, organic juice bar in Columbus. Most juices will cost $ 10 and up while SF remains at $ 8(for most) 16oz bottles. One reason for this is because they bottle in high quality plastic. As a lover of all things glass, this was ALMOST a turn-​off for me. I’m so glad that I addressed my concerns with him or I could’ve walked away from some of the best juice I’ve ever had.

Visited this little juice bar after a friend shared the «Hidrate» juice with me last week. I was thrilled to finally visit their store! Upon arrival you are warmly greeted and then treated to a sample of everything in stock. There were so many flavors and great tastes to discover! I was also informed of the different benefits of the ingredients and found a few options for pre-​workout and those last night hangry times. It is a little expensive at $ 8 a bottle, but you can use these as meal replacements. I don’t know that I could swing having a samba juice everyday, but I will definitely be back so I can incorporate this into my weekly diet. Delicious, healthy and tasty! What more could you ask for?

Stopped here for the first time today after reading the great reviews on Unilocal.I was warmly greeted by the owner and then helped by a very friendly associate. She explained the ingredients of all the juices and let me sample all I wanted. I ended up getting two bottles and will definitely be back for more. Samba fresh is going to be my healthy food stop whenever I am in the Dublin area.

We didn’t think we’d find cold pressed juice as good as Jugofresh in Miami, but we did at Samba Fresh. The customer service is outstanding. They offer generous samples. All this in a very unpretentious environment. And the price? Wow! Very reasonable. I have to thank Columbus Monthly magazine for finding this place. They featured Samba Fresh and the Short North juice place in a story comparing the two. Because Samba Fresh is not on High or a trendy neighborhood, I may have never found it. But I did, thanks to Columbus Monthly. Hidden gem in Columbus. Love this place!

I’m a fan. I love that you can sample the flavors (I literally tried every single one) before you make a purchase.
The proportion of each ingredient makes it super tasty and healthy. They all cost $ 8, which is comparable to Native juice bar in the short north.

Columbus West Side: Get excited… you have one of the only cold-​pressed juice places in the city!
Before I dive into the review, I think it’s important to note my only point of comparison – Native in the ShoNo. Native is beautiful, perfectly situated for friends to meet up, and their juice is meant to aid in nutrition, not for cleansing necessarily.
SF is the complete opposite. And that’s not a bad thing at all. SF isn’t perfect, but it has loads of potential. I’ll tell you a bit about my experience…
SF is in a nondescript strip mall, but they have big clear signs that make it easy to spot. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was how stark the space was. I’m more used to shops in walkable neighborhoods, but this place is definitely meant for picking up juice to go.
The right side of the store is lined with a wall cooler – similar to what you’d find at a grocery store. There wasn’t a lot of juice on the shelves today, but come to find out later, the owner was making more right then. But there was plenty of juice for me to choose.
As for the juice? Delicious. He does a lot of detoxing kits, but he most definitely sells them individually too. The flavors are much more complex than Native’s. The combinations ranged from super sweet to downright green and savory.
The price is good too! Don’t get me wrong, cold-​pressed juices are expensive, but SF is a little cheaper than Native. And they give a Unilocal check-​in discount!
The owner and I chatted about his upcoming plans, and I’m excited to see what all he does! I hope he brings in a handful of tables for friends to meet for juice.
