These guys are the best! I took my car there for about 4 years while I lived in Philly. They were always very honest, helpful and quick. They never did any work before verifying that I was ok with it, explained what was wrong and the mechanics of the issue in detail. At one point I had my rear deferential worked on and they warned me that if a certain part broke while they were fixing it the cost would be about $ 400 more than what we originally discussed, I agreed and miraculously that part did not break while they were working on my car and I ended up paying less than I was prepared for. Before I left Philly for good they looked over my car and handed me a packet of what will need to be done and how much time I had before those things needed to be done, how much they will cost and which things are a safety concern or not. By far the best auto mechanic experience I’ve had on the east coast and I would highly recommend them.

These guys are the best, hands down. Trustworthy, honest folks who work with you and help prioritize repairs, because the money isn’t always there at the moment, right? At times they’ve gone above and beyond, to bring the costs down for me… when other mechanics may have not bothered. They’ve earned my devotion. :0)

I am so happy to have found this place. I have been coming here for 3 years now. And the service is consistent. These guys are honest and up front with you about what needs to be done with your vehicle. They are always going the extra mile to make sure they are getting the best parts for your car and to complete the service in a reasonable time. Also, very helpful that they send text messages to remind me of my need for an oil change. I am a committed Rapco patron!

Friendly, dependable, honest. I’ve used their service for years for inspections, routine maintenance, and diagnosing and resolving a few problems with my cars. They do not try to rip you off by doing extra jobs for which they can charge you. They are also very good about keeping you informed of the car’s status when it’s in their shop for repair. All-​around I have been thoroughly satisfied with them as my go-​to mechanic.

There’s nothing like being able to trust the people taking care of your car. I’ve been here multiple times, and always leave satisfied. Most recently, they fixed a problem caused by a different mechanic — AND drove me home AND picked me up because it was raining out. When I’ve had more serious problems with my older car, they’ve always made the diagnosis quickly AND presented me with solid information AND a reasonable set of options for how to fix the situation. They have my loyalty. I highly recommend this shop. BTW: they sell tires, too!
