Westway Electric is the go-​to place for the absolute best in supply and service for contractors and individuals. Tony and his team’s knowledge and customer service are unmatched in the Greater Philadelphia area. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for electrical supply.

I placed a pretty big order for Zwave switches from Westway. Anthony was my contact.
Anthony was very helpful and found answers to questions I had by calling the manufacturer of the switches for me. He made sure that every question was answered before proceeding with the order. He also made sure that Westway’s prices were competitive. I had a GREAT experience and I will do business again with them. Thank you!

BUYER BEWARE!!! when you buy lighting products online especially PROGRESS LIGHTING!!!
I recently purchased a chandellier from Westway. Pricing was good, shipped out fine and received in good condition.
This is where the story goes bad.
The chandellier was much darker than expected and my wife wanted to return the item. Our distributor, Westway, apparently is only a front company that can only order products from PROGRESS LIGHTING. You don’t do business and return things to them. MY question is why not deal with PROGRESS In the first place.
When we called them to return the item Kathleen from Westway advised that we would need to return the item to the MANUFACTURER… AND there would be a 35% restocking fee… yikes! She had no control and politely told me that the company strictly enforced their outrageous restocking fee.
It sounds good up front but be sure to ask. My advice go to home depot or lowes and you CAN special order and ask UP FRONT if there is any kind of restocking.

I ordered light fixtures from Westway. They arrived on time, but some of them were defective. Westway’s customer service (Anthony) was extremely polite, prompt, and efficient in replacing the defective product. His communication was excellent. A truly outstanding company!

I contacted Westway to supply me with a replacement banker’s lampshade. They kept me appraised of stocking level and when the item shipped, and delivered it in a timely manner. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged, through no fault of theirs — it was shipped from the supplier.
When I notified them of the problem, they had a replacement sent to me quickly from the supplier with the assurance that it had been checked before sending to me. The item was perfect, and I didn’t have to go through the annoyance of packing up the bad one and sending it back.

I was very impressed with their customer service, knowledge of the product and selection. They were able to ship me the products I needed for a project when other companies had slow moving and hard to navigate sites. I got my order on time and will definitely use them on future projects.
