I walked in Regency and gave a sales to the representative in Nov 2015 and here it is February 2016, several delivery attempts and no furniture. Either the furniture was broken or scratched up. Now I’m being told they won’t deliver but your charging a $ 200 delivery fee.Really. They tell you they will callback but each time I had to initiate contact. Very poor service!

STAYAWAY!!! These people are crooks. They should all be arrested. They took advantage of my 79 year old grandmother. She spent over $ 3300 in that store. Take your money elsewhere. The whole company is disgrace. Did 3 stars so this review would post.

Customer service, on average, is terrible here. I did get one nice lady on the phone today… but it is not the norm. Tried calling the store manager, but he ignored all my messages. Keep in mind we just spent $ 2200 and still needed a lot more furniture. You’d think that would warrant some sort of incentive to provide good customer service. Ended up trying the corporate regency customer service line, and while they were nicer… nothing was done about the worst customer service I’ve received in years. Avoid this place at all costs people. Seriously.

Do not shop here and certainly DONOTUSE Acceptance Now. They cover as a finance company but are really only Rent-A-Center. They market Acceptance Now as a good way to build credit and an easy way to furnish your new home. We came here not knowing any better and being new to the state. Well what they don’t tell you is that on the due date(even a Sunday) they will call you. No waiting until the next business day… the EXACT due date. And if you’re not willing to pay that day, they ask for a good pick up date for the furniture. Add on the fact that the representatives are seemingly young and unprofessional(be prepared to hear a lot of laughing and joking as you hold for a «manager»). Further it does no good to ask to speak with a manager as the alleged«manager» on duty will have the same elementary conversation and feedback as the associates. Additionally, clearly this is the place you go for your first attempt at a «real job.» They simply lack experience, customer service skills and professionalism. Not realizing if consumers don’t shop here and do not finance through them they will not have jobs for very long. But of course no thought is given to that notion. No furniture is worth this headache and stress. As soon as we pay this off we will furnish the rest of our home with a more reputable, customer service based company. Pay the extra money to go elsewhere. Be happy I am here to warn you. I wish someone had warned me. Question to Unilocal — why are the 11 negative views not recommended? If I had seen those I would have known better.

I purchased a sectional as well as a dining room table and chairs because I have small children I purchased an extended warranty. I was skeptical to do so because the coverage sounded too good to be true. Turns out I was correct. The hardware that allows the leaf to be pulled in and out detached from the table. You would think a full coverage warranty would mean the table would be replaced. WRONG! I was told if my warranty only covered stains. How does a black solid wood dining table get stained??? Needless to say I feel deceived and should have stuck with my instincts and not purchased the too good to be true extended warranty.

Horrible service I paid for the furniture NEVERGOTITDELVEREDTAKINGTHEMTOCOURT… The sales associate Darrell advised that it was in stock. On the date of the delivery they said it wasn’t. I spoke to the store manager Graig he said he would take care of it. Now he is dodging my calls. I left messages for Abdul & Mustafa Ayyad the owners no one ever called me. Im out the pocket $ 3500. Moved in today to my new property and I have NOFURNITURE and they refuse to do a REFUND!!! UnilocalHAS A FILTERSO I HADTOGIVE3STARSTONOTGETCUTOUT

While I don’t doubt that some of the filtered reviews have legitimate complaints, my husband and I had a great experience and would gladly return. We walked in and were greeted by Richard. We told him what we were looking for(leather reclining sofa and loveseat), and he led us to the area we would find it. He then popped back over every now and again to see if we had any questions, but for the most part he left us alone. It was refreshing not to feel like I had to fend off a used car salesman. Our need was kind of quirky, but they had a good selection of items to choose from, and we spent a lot of time sitting on comfy couches. After we chose our sofa and paid(I don’t go into debt for furniture, just not my style), we set up delivery. We selected a Saturday — no problem there — and were told that we would receive a call the day before to give us a 4-hour window. We received a call on Friday and were told that someone would be there between 8 and 12, I figured someone would arrive at 12:30. I was shocked(in a good way) when we got a call at 7:50 telling us that they were 15 minutes away! By 8:30am, our furniture was delivered, set up, and they were on to their next delivery. While I don’t hope to need to buy furniture in the near future, I’d have no problem returning here.

DONOTSHOPATANYOFTHEREGENCYFURNITURESTORES! If I could give it less than one star I would. My Fiancé and I have been spending alot of money on our new home and wedding so we decided to visit Regency Furniture store in Largo, Maryland in hopes to find a good deal on a sofa and ottoman. The sales guy was nice, but we practically found the sofa and ottoman ourselves! He was just following us around. After 2hrs we settled on a simple sofa and ottoman that he quoted us at $ 748. This did not include delivery as that would have been an additional $ 180! We settled for the price and once we were rung up the price jumped to $ 802! I should have just left right there. The next day I was quoted a price for the same exact items from Regency furniture in Waldorf for $ 50 less. I also looked on line and noticed there were alot of sales we were not informed about. The back of my receipt said all orders may be canceled in 72hrs so I tried canceling and that’s when the nightmare began. THESTAFFANDMANAGERSAREUNPROFESSIONALANDSEEMTOBEUNEDUCATED. Finally I was able to speak to the general manager Leanne who told me that it didn’t matter what the receipt said, I would have to pay 30% off the sale price and the rest would go to store credit if I didn’t want the couch.
