The library has a collection of over 30,000 books, movies, and audio materials and is part of the C/W MARS network. Movies and magazines can be checked out for free for one week, and books, audiobooks, and TV shows can be borrowed for three weeks at a time. We host several local book clubs as well as activities for children and teens.
History
Established in 1871.
The Upton Town Library was founded in 1871 and moved into its current home in the newly renovated Knowlton-Risteen Building in the 1970s. 2014 saw a major interior renovation as the library was newly painted and carpeted and had a custom circulation desk built.
