Cookies by Design started in 1983… it is a National Franchise. Our franchise is in the Des Moines Iowa area and services the surrounding 40 miles with personal delivery. We have been in Urbandale for over 20 years.

Dan spent 12 years in the US Navy as a Supply Officer, running and supervising various food service operations. After leaving the Navy he worked in IT for companies in the Des Moines area including a branch of Hormel Foods. He now operates Cookies by Design with his wife, Sandra.

Couldn’t have been happier with the beautiful cookie bouquet. There are so many design choices, it was fun to see what they had. Staff was friendly and helpful, delivery was on time. Would not hesitate to go there again.

It’s a pleasure to rate Cookies By Design. This franchise has a «Top Gun «attitude, wonderful employees and a excellent customer service. Before moving out west I had lived in Urbandale and on many, many occasions I used Cookies By Design for both business and personal deliveries and I had nothing but the best customer service anyone could receuve, I would be hard pressed to believe that anyone could have a poor experience with Cookies By Design in Urbandale.
I ‘m sure there are, at times, as with any company, issues at hand, but on any occasion things can be worked out with a good attitude by either party. I have experienced the following with Cookies By Design:

This guy is a total douche every time I’ve tried to call. Not only does he talk to his customers like they’re stupid, he’s also unfriendly on top of it, like doing his job is an inconvenience. Definitely will not even think about calling here again.
