Perfect! I was a little nervous about the reviews online about this place. La Quinta is great. I’m a hotel snob and for what it is it’s super clean. Friendly staff. Quiet

BED BUG ALERT: This hotel has bed bugs. A friend and I almost stayed the night at this hotel on August 11, 2015… We were about to go to sleep when my friend saw something crawling across the sheet… We caught the bug and did a Google search and yes it was a bed bug. We ripped the bed apart and found two more.
We packed our things, got a refund and checked out at 11pm. The front desk clerk was very understanding and helpful (she helped us find a room at the Marriott down the street) but I got the impression that this was not the first time that this has happened there.
As for my belongings, I made sure to put all my clothes in the dryer for an hour as soon as I got home but I threw out my luggage because I didn’t want to risk contaminating my home. La Quinta should reimburse me for my bags in my opinion.
I would recommend staying very far away from this hotel, and I will not stay at a La Quinta again. The Courtyard Marriott down the street was much nicer and bug-​free.

Stayed here this past weekend while visiting family in the area. When I first walked into our room, it smelled like cigarette smoke even though it’s a no smoking hotel. My husband’s a smoker so he couldn’t really smell it but I walked in and out a few times to be sure before complaining to the front desk. The hotel was fully booked so they couldn’t switch rooms but they offered to spray it down for me. I didn’t see how this would help and was a bit annoyed at this point. Then they offered to oxidate the room with some special little machine and I said ok to that. Not sure why they didn’t lead with this but whatever. I was skeptical but since they were booked and the hotel across the road was booked (I checked), I felt like it was better than nothing. We went out to dinner while this machine ran in our room. I do have to say that it worked pretty well. I was amazed and happy I didn’t have to smell stale cigarette smoke for two nights. The staff was friendly, especially the one woman who suggested the oxidation machine. I know it’s not their fault someone smoked in the room but I didn’t like that it wasn’t taken care of (oxidized) before we arrived and that it took some prying on my part fort them to even suggest it. The room itself was ok. The tub didn’t drain well so we had to stand in a puddle while showering (kinda gross). Not sure I’ll stay here again.

It was OK. The ‘suite’ i had was just really two adjoining old school rooms. Only one side. Had a working thermostat. The color scheme in the rooms centered around the grossest hunter green carpet i have ever seen. I had to blast the air in order to get it into the area with a bed which dried everything out and i felt sick for days. The people who worked there were really nice.

Called and asked if you have to be 21 to stay here. They said minimum age was 18. So we stayed it was pretty gross inside. Came back and was on hold for 20 minutes on the phone until we hung up. We walked in and the huge front desk lady made us wait for 5 minutes while she chatted with her friend. We had to call the front desk to get her to walk over. Then she didn’t let us have a room because we were under 21 and we «hung up on her.» Terrible service and everyone is rude.

My reservation was «cancelled» along with 11 others who came from out of town and out of state for a wedding. They offered no apology and the woman at the front desk was rude as can be about it all. Very stressful and very unprofessional. I will never stay at a LQ hotel again.

UPDATE (4÷9÷2013): Although my experience was tainted by what I listed below, I only feel that is is fair to let you all know that a couple hours after posting this review I received an email from the local area manager for La Quinta stating their apologies and offering to refund the price of our stay. I am left with a slightly better taste in my mouth after receiving this apology, and may consider other La Quinta hotels in the future due to their willingness to at least try to make things right. I am leaving this review at 2 stars simply because their apology came a little too late in my opinion and it still doesn’t change that the rooms were dirty. Hope you all have better luck if you stay here.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: (Stayed 1 night 4÷6÷2013) Rooms in very poor condition (microwave missing tray, trash in cans on arrival, left over food and drink in refrigerator, crumbs on carpeting, etc). This hotel was also extremely noisy (doors slamming until 3 AM, loud talking and laughing until 3 AM in the hallways and parking lot outside of our window). Hotel management didn’t enforce hotel policies such as no unsupervised children in pool area, no running/​jumping in pool area which made it unsafe for me and my 2 year old. No apologies given, nor did anyone ever try to «make things right» when we reported the problems, which also included internet access being completely unavailable throughout our stay. Finally the «warm, hot breakfast» that is advertised is really thawed eggo waffles and french toast that were extremely soggy, warm orange juice, and a few hard boiled eggs that had been sitting out for who knows how long. All this at a price just as high as neighboring hotels that are much newer, cleaner and more friendly. I will never recommend this particular hotel to anyone and will try to avoid La Quinta whenever possible in the future.

The good: Standard LQ… clean rooms, reasonable prices, reliable breakfast & friendly folks.
The amazing: The staff.
The not so great: It’s time for a renovation, folks!
Checked in around midnightish on a Friday night… place was packed. I booked this hotel with LQ points saved up over the last three years of work travel, so I have Elite status. Normally a good thing to get an upgrade from your double full room to a executive king, unless you are traveling with your pregnant best bud! Thanked the lady for the upgrade but explained that we really needed two sleeping surfaces. Not sure if they are always this nice, or if my Elite status made a difference, but they upgraded us into a two room suite (king bed in one room — sofa bed in the other. Two bathrooms… two fridges… the whole works! It’s always nice to have some privacy (and two bathrooms!) when you are traveling with folks other than your close relatives. Especially considerate when I’ve never stayed at this location before and they weren’t getting a penny from me for the two night stay.
The rooms are due for an upgrade, though. I’ve stayed in some pretty nice LQ properties and this one is starting to lose its lustre… the carpets are getting worn, the sofa mattress was beyond worn out and the wood furnishings were worse for wear.
Wifi is a bit slow (could have been room location)…breakfast is lacking the make your own waffles (just ones that you can reheat in the toaster) and big on the processed foods (packaged muffins & bagels). All things that I can easily overlook, especially in this price range.
I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
