Utica, MI
This library is teeny-​tiny and smells like mold. Their redeeming quality is that they’re a co-​op and share materials with other Macomb County libraries. So, you can have books shipped from the larger libraries in the area. I’m disappointed that the city — and its citizens — are not supporting the library. When compared to other nearby communities (Rochester, Troy, Clinton-​Macomb) you get a clear picture of the great services Utica citizens miss out on by living in the wrong city. The wonderful books, movies, music, and events offered in other communities (not to mention quiet study space!) are absent in Utica.
