History

Established in 2015.

Owners Jonathan and Lauralee Ensign are not new to the wine industry, their humble beginnings started with their own wine label English Hill Wine company (a wholesale company only) 2015 they decided to go retail bringing other award winning boutique wines to beautiful downtown Vacaville in a wine tasting room setting, along with a wine club and wine club events, music and entertainment.

My husband and I came here before going to a movie last night (Saturday) and we loved it! We had a Wooden Valley rosé that our bartender (Autumn) suggested, and we had the whole wheat pretzels with the mustard sauce! The wine and food were amazing, with great service and atmosphere! I totally recommend giving this place a shot. Thanks for the great date night!

This is a solid wine bar with a nice bar to sit or the couch seating areas with fireplace features. Although a little too noisy and open to have an intimate conversation, it would be a great place to meet friends or for after work. I would love to see more wine choices in the future, and a larger selection of by the glass prices between $ 8 — $ 12. I am glad Vacaville has this place and look forward to coming in again.

I was very very impressed. My wife and I met our friends there last night for some wine and snacks. Our waitress was very nice, prompt, and friendly. Their menu is great, about 25 or so wines available. Their cheese plate and meat plate was great with bigger portions than I’ve ever seen on a cheese plate. Also, they have three beers on draft for people who prefer beer. We will definitely be back.

Popped in on a random Monday night for an impromptu birthday celebration. I’m so excited to have done so. The décor is lovely, we got great attentive service, the selection was wonderful and I think the prices are really reasonable. The mango champagne was delicious! Perfect to celebrate with. I will definitely be back with friends and will be looking forward to some fun events they’ll be putting on as well. I think it’s just what was needed in downtown Vacaville!

A wonderful place! I have no idea what Kate V. is talking about. Yes it can be busy, but it’s downtown Vacaville. It’s such a convenient spot near the Andrews Park and a great place to hang out. My boyfriend and I have been and I’ll be visiting again soon! Their Hell or High Watermelon Wheat Beer that’s on tap was awesome! This place is so classy and relaxed. Can’t recommend it enough!

What a great find! If you are looking for a trendy place to relax as a couple or a group, this is the place. The ambiance walking in is welcoming, staff is fantastic and your options for wine, beer and champagne are more than plenty. I reserved Cuvee E for a meeting and my group was more than taken care of. My team actually stayed until opening and sat for hours enjoying themselves. You know its great when the place is packed and no one wants to leave! I will definitely plan more private events there and of course come back myself!

So disappointed by this place! After Wine Styles left a few years ago, we had been hoping for a good wine bar to open so we checked this out on a date night. The wines are Sutter Home quality for Sonoma/​Napa prices, and the beers were also way under par. Comfy seating inside, but the acoustics are terrible. There was a group of 6 – 8 people inside when we went and it was extremely loud. This will inevitably turn into another trashy Vacaville bar and then close after 6 months. I feel strongly that Vacaville needs some great, forward thinking, high quality spots, but this sadly is not one.

I wish I could review but we couldn’t go here. The hours say open at 12 on sat so a bunch of us girls showed up only to find out you don’t open til 3. Fix your hours on Unilocal and Facebook. Since 1 we have seen more then 10 people show up trying to get in while we drink elsewhere.

This is a great addition to vacaville, not a chain, but a really Nice lounge to get a drink. We got a bottle of rose and sat outside great atmosphere, nIce staff. The food is just a few appetizers, that’s the only downside, not much to eat. But great place to stop before or after dinner!

Hubby and I strolled in after dinner downtown. We were hoping for a cool, classy, lounge to sip vino and beer– and we found it!
I tried the pinot noir and cab sauv, hubby ordered a beer. We enjoyed the comfy couches!
Beautiful, friendly vibe and awesome drink selection. I am so glad this spot finally opened up!
