Specialties

I specialize in both teaching music and providing DJ and Karaōke services. I teach piano, guitar (electric and acoustic), ukelele, bass and banjo lessons for children and adults. My ultimate goal is for the student to be fully engaged and thoroughly enjoying the process of mastering an instrument. I also provide DJ and Karaōke services for large or small events. I will provide top quality and reliable services. I also play keyboards in and provide vocals for the band Afterglow. Afterglow performs regularly in Solano and surrounding counties.

History

Established in 1990.

I started teaching music 25 years ago while becoming more involved in the local music scene. I played in several different bands in the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s — all while continuing to develop my business of teaching piano/​keyboard, guitar, ukelele, bass and banjo to kids and adults. In addition to playing in local bands and giving music lessons, I provided DJ and Karaōke services on a regular basis to several local establishments in Vacaville. From those local pubs, I began booking jobs to DJ or Karaōke events within the city of Vacaville and beyond. Eventually, my DJ business grew to provide those services to both large or small family, corporate or city sponsored events.

Meet the Business Owner

Stefan B.

Business Owner

Stefan was born in London into a family of musicians and performers. His mother played the accordion and provided entertainment for the troops during the war. After listening to his father play a Spanish piece called «Malagueña» on the guitar, Stefan was hooked. He taught himself to play guitar and joined his first band when he was 15 and living in Italy, where his father was stationed. When a different band that Stefan was in wanted to add keyboards to their repertoire, Stefan taught himself how to play keyboards, too.

Resourceful and versatile, Stefan has been involved in the local music scene for over 40 years. He played keyboards and provided vocals for several bands that enjoyed local popularity: Backstreet, The Marty Martin Band and The Sterling Silver Band. In 2009, Stefan joined Afterglow, a band that originally formed, recorded and dissolved in the late 60’s, but was reborn after a record company re-​released their album.

Stefan lives with his wife in Vacaville.
