Found Steel’s to get my wife ring fixed when we were there. Moved to several other state since then
And I’m still using them. Even living across the country the service is still the same. They go out of their way to make everything perfect. I have had picture emailed to me on short notice and they always come through. Highly Recommended isn’t enough!!!

Steel’s Is fantastic. They not only have a great selection of new jewelry, different designers, a wonderful helpful staff, great showrooom, but more importantly, they are very caring and talented.
I brought my Grandmother’s eternity band, and a cocktail engagement ring to them to be repaired. These are very important sentimental pieces of jewelry in my life. Both had been cut badly after she passed to remove them. The cocktail ring was missing one of two centerpiece diamonds with missing prongs and the state of that ring seemed liked possibly it would never be again as Gram had it. I definitely thought that I’d be lucky to have them be in just an ok condition someday. Thier work was amazing. To say that they brought my Gram’s rings back to pristine condition would be an understatement. It is, as she wore it originally.

Having met my wife during a short stint at high school in Valdosta, we frequently make trips back here to visit the family. I used to have a tradition of buying her things from Nijem’s Jewlery — kinda an inside joke because their TV ads during the 90’s made us laugh, but also for sentimental value being from the place we met.
Unfortunately with them closing, I needed to find someplace new to buy a Christmas gift this year — luckily my brother-​in-​law pointed me to Steel’s as his go-​to place in town.
I arrived with my three year old in tow (figured it was time to start teaching him about buying women jewelry for Christmas) and walked into a beautifully decorated shop in a nice, small shopping center.
Greeted immediately as I entered the door and assigned an assistant I quickly went to the women’s watches and started sifting through the selection. I told the lady what I was looking for and we quickly narrowed it down. I (with the 3 year old’s assistance) picked a watch — midway through them preparing it for sale I changed my mind and was so happy that it wasn’t a big deal when I picked a different watch. They gift wrapped it nicely.
I was very happy with the service and glad to have found a new place in Valdosta for the sentimental gift giving tradition.
