Andy has been our family jeweler for several years; his service at one time was the best in Santa Clarita. For the past few years, he has been slipping. If he would just focus on customer service his business would be a lot better. I can not be the only long-time customer who has become disappointed with his customer service.

Andy is a friendly guy and a good jeweler. He has both created new jewelry and done many repairs for us. Has a nice selection of all kinds of beautiful things. He has a busy family life so it’s always best to call first to make sure he is there or that your order is ready. The birds are a bonus!

Great customer service. Prompt service. He is very courteous and attentive. He cleans and repaired some of my jewelries and they came out looking new. I will always come back to Andy’s.

Andy has repaired a number of items for us – he’s fast, courteous, reliable, and friendly. Good solid independent small business.

Andy is a nice guy but the posted business hours are a joke. I have now been by 4 times to pick up my order. 3 of the times store was closed despite posted business hours and once I could not pick it up because he forgot to put it out with the completed orders. I’ve wasted about $ 25 in gas driving to the store. Don’t bother calling because no one picks up the phone either. His work is satisfactory, but his professionalism and business sense is very poor.

Bad!!! Dropped off things to get engraved last Friday. Andy said they would be ready on weds. Stressed to him that I needed these by Sat. For a wedding. Went in today and NOTHINGWASDONE! Not even a courtesy phone call to say it’s not done. Wasted 5 days. Bad business. Beware.

I have been dealing with Andy for over 20 years! He has replaced diamonds in my Mother’s ring(and I appreciated the fact that he took the large center diamond(2 ct) out and gave it to me to keep while he was working on the smaller diamonds), fixed the prongs on my own diamond ring, resized my husband’s wedding band and taken care of watches. He is such a nice person and I trust him. I referred a friend that wanted a mother’s ring made from other jewelry she had, and she was so pleased with the results. When you are dealing with treasured jewelry, you want to know that the person you are dealing with is up front and also values your jewelry and you. Andy is that kind of person! I trust him with my jewelry and continue to go back to him for repairs, check ups on my rings and to refer people. And he has cool birds in his store that will talk to you! :-)

Came in to have wedding ring sized and a tiny diamond replaced. Seemed nice and friendly but that’s where it ended. When I can to pick up at set date it was not ready and this happened twice. So now, several months later the Diamond he replaced fell out and the ring is coming apart at the seam. Horrible

When I caught my ring in a door and crushed it, I was uncomfortable just taking it to anyone. I read the reviews here about Andy’s and thought I would give them a try. I am extremely please with the service I received and the outcome of my ring. I’ll be in the market for a new ring soon and will definitely take my business to Andy’s.

When my husband was looking for my engagement ring(and I had a very specific style in mind), a family friend told him to try Andy. Sure enough, he had EXACTLY what I had in mind. I was blown away during my proposal(mostly because my husband actually listened all those years I told him about my dream ring)! I get compliments all the time on the ring and am so proud to wear it. We now go to Andy for our watch batteries, jewelry repairs, EVERYTHING. He recognizes us every time and is truly a geniune person who runs a great business.

Very upsetting experience. Never again. Low quality work. Had some pearls put together with a bit of chain between. Told me it’d be done in 2 – 3 weeks depending on getting the materials. Took him over 6 weeks. To top it off he scratched the pearls and lost one on his workbench. I had to point out that one was missing and luckily he found it. The necklace was poorly put together. When Andy picked it up out of the baggie it fell apart. He fixed that link then sent us on our way but when we picked it up again to try it on again at home it fell apart again. NEVERAGAIN.

Kevins jewlers charged me 75.00 to to repair and rebuild the prog in my ring… Andy quoted me 80.00, them upped the price to 100.00 at pick up. This guy is a total crook… My ring repair now has a grand total of 175.00. I feel totally ripped off from Andy’s jewlers.

I read both Larry & Lisa’s comments… I wanted to give Andy a try. I had 3 watches that required new batteries. I was buzzed in by Andy himself and he immediately fixed all three watches. The price seamed reasonable($ 8 each for new battery and labor). He is a competent jeweler and an amazingly pleasant man.

I have been going to Andy’s Gold and Jewelry Repair for over 6 years. He is the best. He is so honest, friendly and helpful. His service is great. His nephew works there now with him and he is great too. I highly recommend this shop.

After reading Larry’s review, I took in a watch that needed a new crystal. This is a watch that has had the crystal replaced twice already, and no i didn’t beat it with a hammer! After talking to Andy, I got a real good vibe from him, he said he had to order the crystal, but it woudl be ready tuesday. He called and said it was ready, and I can tell by looking at it, it’s a much nicer crystal than the one the last place put in, also, it was less than half the price. I didn’t look around much, but it looks as if he has some nice jewelry as well. If I ever need another watch or other jewelry repaired, I will defnitely bring it here. Nice to know we have this type of service right in Santa Clarita.

I wanted to get an old family ring sized for my finger. I really did not want some joker messing with the ring because it had a lot of sentimental value to me. I was in the area and decided to stop in to Andy’s. First of all, there is an actual Andy. Strange as it is, I find it reassuring that when someone’s name appears in a business name, there is a corresponding person working inside. Andy is the owner, I walked in and he was standing behind the counter with some type of jewelers goggles on(a sign he is more than a salesperson). Anyway, he looked at my ring. I was surprised he knew so much about it. He knew it was a masonic ring and it was more valuable than I thought. He also looked at the diamond and told me it was a very old stone due to the cut of the diamond. He knew it had been upsized once before. He was right on all of this. So, I felt reassured leaving this with him. Andy explained that he had to soak part of the ring in water while he re-sized due to how the ring was constructed. I knew that he would do good work. I returned a short time later and my ring was complete. The work was flawless. I was so happy I brought in a watch to have a crystal replaced, total cost of this was $ 29. The watch factory had wanted $ 10 just to give me a repair estimate. So, I feel his prices are more than fair. He also sells jewelry and creates custom pieces. I generally buy jewelry in the jewelry district in downtown LA. In the future, I plan to give him a look as well being how happy I am using him for repairs.
