Great food and environment! Pleasant surprise on the way back to SF. Chips are fresh and home-made quality with tasty salsa and bean dip. Fish tacos was great. Have to come here again next time passing through.

We went there after an afternoon at Magic Mountain. Food was fair and service was good. I liked the salsa. I ordered the Enciladas Mole and they were fair. Not the best I’ve had but not bad. My wife had the fajitas and said they were okay. Nothing that she absolutely had to have again. My son ordered the camarones a la Diabla and said they were good but wished the plate had more. I’m not going to count that against them. A friend once told me that he’d rather clothe my boy than feed him. Apparently he eats a lot. My daughter ordered the menudo and also said it was good but not great. The service was really good up until the end when we had a little scare. The waiter picked up our credit card the. Came back to the table and said he lost it. He found it with the bartender but it was enough to panic my son who was paying. Overall not a bad place if you happen to be in the area

This is my favorite place in SCV. Everything from the chips, salsa & bean dip, yes i said bean DIP! and it’s awesome. Beer is cold, margaritas are delicious and the food is always on point. Try the molcajete! It’s huge, so you can share it, but I absolutely love it. Other than that the street tacos are incredible. I love the spicy chorizo and the carnitas tacos. My favorite part of Azul is the staff. They are really awesome. The servers are super friendly and always try to take extra good care of the customers. You can’t go wrong with Azul!

It’s by my job. Food is okay, had the lunch fritada salad and it was ok. I hear happy hour is good so I’ll check it out.

A very nice experience. No complaints. Great place to have a nice and usually quiet meal. They have good happy hour specials and cheap margaritas and beer. I love the sampler platter on the appetizers for happy hour, for like $ 6.00 you get all sorts of things. Awesome to split with a friend or a date! Love it here!

We really love this restaurant. The staff are just the best, and the food is very good. Just wish they could figure out a way to reduce the noise a bit. Oh well, it won’t keep me from coming back!

I’ve only gone for happy hour. The happy hour is great! The happy hour appetizers are a full on meal and the margaritas are cheap. I would give them five stars but the margaritas aren’t strong enough ;) The staff is really friendly and it is always clean.

First time trying this place and it was pretty good! I didn’t think the bean dip was that great, and we ordered a cheese dip thing that none of us liked very much at all. I had the chipotle chicken enchiladas and I really enjoyed them! I’d like to come back and try more! I love the lighting and décor inside.

One of our favorites in SCV — food is great. The service is outstanding. The only negative is the noise levels — sometimes cant hear each other talk. I frequent this place 2 – 3 times a month.

Food tasted average but the big this was our service. Food came out cold as well as our soup appetizer. Waiter seemed annoyed that we wanted our food warmed up. Waiter would walk by and not acknowledge us multiple times. We needed napkins and silverware, waters, the check etc. I like Don Cucos and La Cocina a lot more than this place. I think the food is better as well as the service at other Mexican restaurants I the area. Fair pricing though.

This place is growing on me! I’ve come here several times for lunch in the past few weeks; the lunch specials are awesome. I also enjoy their happy hour– super cheap beer and margaritas. The staff is really friendly and I’ve actually become friends with a few of the servers. Good, cheap mexican with yummy margaritas.

After reading glowing reviews about this place, I was stoked to come after a long weekend of eating Thanksgiving dinners and leftovers. Azul Tequila is located in shopping center on the way to Magic Mountain and is easy to find once you turn into the center(on the left if you’re going towards Magic Mountain). We arrived around 6:30 on Saturday evening and were seated immediately. The staff was friendly enough, but a bit forgetful. My Mother-in-Law asked for water with no lemon(Weird, but she hates lemon) and they repeatedly brought her water with lemon in it. My other companion requested no salt on her margarita glass, but the margarita was brought with salt. It was nearly impossible to flag down our waitress, but. luckily, a busboy was able to help us out. My husband ordered carnitas and requested no dairy on the plate(he’s allergic, c’mon!)… When the plate came, there was sour cream on the plate. The staff was nice about accommodating the changes, but it usually took two tries to get it right. The food was ok… Not horrible, but definitely inconsistent from dish to dish. I ordered the Enchilada Suizas and they were warm, at best. The cheese was not melted and the enchilada wasn’t filled with cheese… Just dry chicken. The tomatillo sauce was good, but I just wasn’t impressed. My husband’s carnitas were decent though. Good amount of meat on the plate and it was juicy. Pros: –Lots of parking –Good prices –Lots of TVs to watch sports Cons: –Spotty service –Food is inconsistent

If you find yourself in Valencia this is a pretty good mexican restaurant to hit up that is far away enough from the crowded mall or large shopping center restaurants. The restaurant has a dining area with booths and tables, plus a separate bar area with tvs. They have a large drink menu with a variety of margaritas(of course) and a selection of sangrias and micheladas. Their food menu is pretty extensive as well and they have pretty good lunch specials and happy hour specials. However, the prices are pretty cheap even without the specials. The chicken mole enchilada was stuffed with white meat and the dark mole as savory and sweet. Even the chile relleno wasn’t over done with egg! If you love spicy food, ask for a side of their homemade habanero salsa! Caliente and good. Spicy mango margarita is also a must! :)

Went to have lunch at the Shrimp Haus next door but they didn’t open until 3pm so went here instead. Very nice surprise. Atmosphere very good and so was the service. Had a few different items and they were all very good even the guacamole was made fresh table side. Will definitely go back.

Only getting 2 stars because the service is ok. The food is TERRIBLE. Sweet bean dip? Yuck! Salsa is flavorless as is all of the food I tried. AWEFUL! The restaurant only has hard surfaces and is so loud I can’t hear across the table with only 14 guests in the restaurant. Aweful! Terrible! Won’t be back! LaCocina for Life!!!

This place is seriously Solid. Solid with a capital S. We are frequent visitors for happy hour and I’m not going to lie, this review is swayed heavily by the fact they’ve got a great happy hour. We’ve been a few times now and I don’t even know where you sit in the restaurant. I’ve walked through it, but my vision only sees the bar and high top seating. Margs aren’t great, so stuck to the beer specials. But almost as important as cheap drinks is great service. You’ll never meet people, tenders to wait staff, more welcoming than their people. Always checking to see if you’ve got what you need, alcoholic or non. They start you off with great chips and salsa, but then they go a little step further and put a bean dip next to the salsa. That’s when I strain my chip hand going from salsa to bean dip to salsa to bean dip. Back in forth in some endless quest to make sure I get the last chip. That’s when a new bowl shows up and I realize there is no last chip. Nachos and flautas are happy hour go to’s. If you happen to hit lunch hour, skip the soup and salad and go straight to the mini tostada. So good. A deep fried bowl is truly a gift to all us oil junkies. Crispy deliciousness all the way around.

Azul.Azul.Azul. Salt.Azul.Salt.Salt.Salt. This restaurant is located in the same plaza as Shrimp Haus, Rustic Eatery, and Sams Flaming grill. Competition is fierce! But have no fear. This place is packed! What do i remember Azul for? Definitely not the amazing flavors of my burrito or the guac. All i remember is having salt overdose. Wah wah wah! Anyway… I didn’t get a chance to take any photos to post as i was super hungry and had a long day. But, I ordered a burrito with a side of red rice, and refried beans. I also got an order of their fresh guacamole. Flavors are on point! No doubt! The guac was super delicious! Rice was perfection! I could taste the butter in it The complementary salsa was mouth watering Service?.. Could use some help. Nobody was by the front to greet or help. I literally stood there a while until someone came after me. Parking space? Plenty Indoor ambiance? Noisy but typical I am really looking forward to trying some other menu options. However, If i get another salt overdose. I might have to give this place up.

I figured I better write this review before I forget about it because there was nothing about the food that stood out to me. We came in for lunch, we were the only ones there at first. Probably because of this we had good service. Every staff member was attentive & friendly. No knocks there. My compliments to them. The décor & atmosphere is lively & full of culture so that’s kinda cool too. There is a tiny bar area with TVs in the back. The food was ok, not great. I ordered the jumbo shrimp taco or burrito but I can’t remember which one. I went to their website to find it on the menu but the website needs some work. It was still under construction so I can’t tell you which one I got. Now that I mention it, nothing was fantastic, except the service, but nothing was bad either. I’d be open to returning, but I won’t be aching to get back here very soon.
