If you have an autistic child with learning delays whom requires ABA therapy, RUN FAR AWAY from this company! During our initial search for a local provider in the Santa Clarita area, this vendor was on the list. We had asked a few other parents whom retain this type of service for their recomendations. Unfortunately the ones whom we were advised to look into, were not taking new clients at the time, so we decided to try this company. BIG MISTAKE! They not only took over 3 weeks to schedule an evaluaton, but another 3 weeks to commence service. We did our 18 hour parent training with them immediately, and they assured us they had therapists ready and available to see our daughter. We hung in, and 1.5 months later therapy for our child started. Not ony was our first therapist brand new to the respective field, but her case manager was also recently promoted! We still continued with open minds to the process. After 1.5 weeks of our child warming up and adjusting to this therapist, she up and left the company to take her «Dream Job!!!» After this frustrating situation, we had an intern person come in with the case manager until they found and trained a replacement. Another fresh new college student whom had never been employed ib this field! At this point, we discontinued service and were completely shocked at how this company operates. We had requested a closing report directly from this recently promoted supervisor, who assured us we would receive one. Well, 6 months later and nothing! Finally after our insurance was billed and paid this provider, they sent us a bill for more than $ 400 in co payments for 2.5 weeks of service!!! After reviewing their billing, it was clear they were billing for multiple services for each time the case worker had to come out and train their new technician. Basically, the training that should be done by them for a new employee whom has ever had a case, is passed onto their consumer! I finally reached out to one of their directors. She explained that 5 – 6 case manager billings in a 2.5 week period was acceptable and not out of the norm! This is not the norm, and was confirmed by the new company that took over our child’s ABA services. Do your research and due diligence when searching for your child’s ABA provider, as it is stressful enough going through this type of situation. Unfortunately, this company has a high turnover and continues to hire individuals whom have never worked in this field. Combined with their deceptive billing practices, they are not a credible organization. Good luck with your search, as there are many other credible providers in the SCV area to choose from for this type of therapy for your child.
